kind of? NT-1 Alex has a lot more comprehensive overhauls to the entire design rather than just integrating some upgrades into it. The leg thrusters are a common feature for FA projects in general too. I'll give you the clavicle vents are similar though - that's a common trend for the late-war high spec units and a typical feature of Augusta designs, suggesting they might have been involved in this project too.
>>23600109
Anon the backpack and beam gun look virtually the same barring artstyle differences and it's literally referred to as the high mobility loadout.

Is armor unit you can usually see on Hi-Zack Cannon compatible with MS other than Hi-Zack and Marasai? Have we seen examples? Is reinforced chest armor of their Advanced versions derived from it?

I don't think we've seen it on anything besides Hizack and Marasai, though I wouldn't be surprised if you could stick it onto Hazel Custom's latch with at most a little adjustment.
Other than the enhanced chest armor mounted onto Primrose II is derived from it - Barzam has a streamlined, simple version as its chest while Barzam II is a more fancy version that retains the defensive scattering beam cannon of the prototype.
I don't think there's anything explicitly tying it to the Advanced gear but I don't doubt it at least contributed in gathering data for it. The Advanced kits are based on TR research and one of the early takeways was that additional armor could work so long as it's limited to the chest area, balancing between protecting the pilot and minimizing weight increases.
Their designs themselves aren't too similar though. Hizack's is suspiciously close to later Jagd Doga's (which is explicitly called out) and Marasai's is very clearly related to Xeku Eins'.

You don't fit these sorts of things inside a ship in the first place anyway, even comparatively smaller things like Psycho Gundam are just towed. But in Inle's case there was a plan to modify Aswan and turn it into a dedicated platform for deploying them. And there's SSD of course, which would have worked fine too since Inle is designed to reach any corner of the Earth Sphere by its own power.
>>
>>23602684
Sci-fi space vessels activate my almonds, but I'll be damned if Gundam doesn't blue ball me with the kinds of things that make me enjoy them. Fujioka's Alexandria explorations get close tho. One of the most aesthetically pleasing designs in the series, especially with the launch deck arrangement. I get that the focus is on mobile suits, but I always like it when a medium leans into the combined arms aspect of space combat.

I think it's more or less fine, at least close enough without getting comically autistic.
At full wing(limb?)span Inle has about 100 meters with similar volume to Alpha Azieru. Azieru is a lot longer with the nose aimed up and fuel tanks attached, but Inle doesn't typically orient the Fiver II binders upwards like that so it's not a one-to-one comparison. Still, the point is they're in a similar category.
But on the Aswan Kai the three Inles aren't fully stretched out, they're comparatively compact in Cruiser mode with all the limbs aligned across one axis so they don't look as huge.
If Aswan is roughly 350 meters (Alexandria-class numbers are a bit unclear, but that's the closest thing to a definite number we have AFAIK) then the three Inles here look proportional.
By comparison, also have the Alpha Azieru with the 250m Rewloola. It's not at full possible length here either, but it makes for a good point of reference and with eyeballing it I say the sizes match up well enough.
All that is just to say a Jegan is a tad bigger than Alpha Azieru's head and comparatively Haze'n-thley II is taller than the Fiver Ii's "head" but obviously nowhere near as long. And that's basically what I see here >>23601388 so unless my turbo autism is all out of sorts I think it's pretty size accurate really.
>>
>>23603122
The small HZII in that original model image is about half the size or smaller than it is in that lineart. It's half the length of Inle's leg in the art, but probably a quarter or so in the models.

>>23603122
If Inle's "wingspan" when fully stretched out is 100m, then a sinlge wing would be 50m-ish ( a tad less, probably 40-30). And HZII is 20m-ish like most MS (I don't know the exact measurement and the HG kit makers certainly don't either). But even taking those eyeballed measurements, something's off here
>>
>>23603146
20 is solidly the minimum the HZII could clock at, but really it's likely to be closer to 25m. Frankly, trying to determine scale of anything in AoZ that doesn't have a direct original to reference is a nightmare. Scale is merely approximate the larger you get in AoZ.
>>
>>23603153
Fair enough, we're all just being autists for the sake of it here.
That said, if we take 100m as a "single wing" measurement for Inle, and use those parked Inles as a base, Aswan is a bit less than 1km long. Probably in the 800m range. She big. Fun fact, that's abotu half the length of an Imperial Star Destroyer. Sci fi writers have no sense of scale indeed

800m is definitely unusually large but not astoundingly so, a few other ships in the ballpark and beyond.
But honestly the Kehaar IIs are the better representation for wings, and that model is a stylized line and definitely shouldn't be taken over artwork. It makes the Kehaar IIs much smaller/the binders much larger in general.

>>23608112
still the torso? where else would it have gone lol, all the other parts are the same
>>
>>23608130
The Primrose *is* the Owsla's torso, is my point. Unless the escape pod has its own generator that powers the entire suit, it would have to be in the waist, or at least the abdominal area where the Primrose connects.
>>
>>23608167
>Unless the escape pod has its own generator that powers the entire suit,
well, yeah duh? same principle as just about every core fighter. The waist is the exact same as Hazel Custom, nothing changed there.
>>
>>23608167
That's how every core fighter works
>>
>>23608167
It's a little weird. Nothing calls out Primrose or Primrose II specifically as having one except that the Primrose can replicate the Hazel torso just fine. We do know that the boost pod contains a new form of reactor, and we know the Woundwort contains a reactor in its boost pod/nose cone and uses this new TR style reactor. We also know the reason the Woundwort's thighs are big is because Fujioka loves thicc thigh bunny gf because it has reactors there.

The Primrose I can support winch beam cannons and the like, but it also pretty much always has the boost pod in these setups. The Primrose II pretty much always docks with something to do anything but be an escape pod too.
>>
>>23608257
>It's a little weird. Nothing calls out Primrose or Primrose II specifically as having one
because there's no need to repeat the obvious
>>
>>23608258
It's explicitly an escape pod which doesn't emulate many functions of the core fighter, and nothing explicitly says it carried over a reactor.
>>
>>23608260
it replaces the torso. Please apply basic common sense.
Do you think Hazel Owsla just suddenly has half the power output from running on only the backpack generator? And that the loadouts without the booster pod, which are evidently totally alright as shown for example right here >>23607937 run on, idk, ambient aura power?

Not an answer. Now see we know that they started placing sub generators in certain MS with the Alex, and the Hazel's legs are thermonuclear rocket engines but not quite called out to be the same hybrid generator as the boost pod, but it might stand to reason there are some in there anyway.

But can you prove they are anywhere?
>>
>>23608283
holy fuck are the obtuse autists finally starting to infest this general too? Look at the goddamn picture and use the three brain cells you have left and stop humiliating yourself.
>>
>>23608285
I'm still waiting for your sources on the location of reactor placement outside the boost pod for the Hazel but since you don't understand the game being played here, I'll take the location of the GM Quel's generators too.
>>
>>23608167
yes? It obviously has the reactor, taking the role of the chest is the whole dang point of it.
Please don't be like the other anon and get obtuse about it.
>>
>>23608290
You think it's being obtuse when I'm just calling out the oddities of Fujioka's designs. I'm suggesting that the claim generators make parts big yet a folding escape pod that has to dedicate space for fuel for thrusters to function as one nevermind transformation mechanisms and still ends up smaller as a torso somehow would ever have equivalent space to mount a generator the same size and power as the host unit (which doesn't matter because the boost pod generator is jerked off for being a super duper generator above anything else anyway, and no other one as the Hazel is concerned nor is it ever mentioned as part of the Primrose) when the Primrose I and II both are so small.
I'm not saying it can't or doesn't. I am saying: I question if Fujioka really thought that hard about this aspect and it seems like careless design. What is indisputable is that the new TR generator in the booster pod fucks compared to the others, and the Woundwort's main 3 generators are presumably also this TR type, yet of all the generators called out in these machines the Primroses are not once given a tech note about their own power generation when that comes up often enough on many relevant machines.

Just a bit odd all around. I don't mind it doesn't look like Act Zaku, just having similar specialization is enough to inherit the name even if I wish it was more outwardly distinct. The more angular, spikeless left shoulder is interesting and feels vaguely AoZ-like and the other tiny tweaks are cool but I wish the head and chest were somehow modified too.
But the really strange part to me is like >>23614006 says using the original style Hyper Bazooka when at this point EFF iterated on it with the 0083 model. More than that it's a wasted opportunity to not give the NT-1 Alex zook a chance to shine, it would have fit perfectly for a NT lab use model.
Also using the Hizack missile pod on the arm feels a bit weird, but since they're meant for SFS combat I can imagine it's not an issue and they can just be purged afterwards. But in turn THIS gets strange because for the GBO2 version they replaced with what's basically a Feddie redesign of the ol' Rats River missile launcher.

She's been doing well, though nothing much has changed really.
I'm amazed how well Palace Athene's beam gun fits onto Hazel's arm. It's held by sticky tack right now but only a little modification would make it basically snapfit onto it, no peg no nothing. Only issue is that it fits the back of the arm which makes it really awkward to pose compared to traditional "double gun on the side". Maybe I'll figure something out.

I'm surprised there's not more physical loadouts for TR MS. The Titans were after all a "colony police" of sorts, and their main prey mostly hid in colonies, where the "festooned with beam cannons" design philosophy isn't so practical. Not to mention OYW MS used by Zeek remnants would be the most vulnerable to physical weapons, and they used heat blades to save energy so why not solid guns too? Imagine a Hazel with a pump action shotgun and a crotch-mounted spotlight flying over colony buildings looking for hidden Zakus, or a Woundwort with a SPAS-12 taller than she is

Gaplant is basically Hazel's little brother, the shield boosters and the high mobility form especially directly led to its development.
TR-5s in particular are just Gaplants like any others used for test purposes, but it's still something of a special machine for the T3 squad as physical proof of their hard work. Their units have heads modified with Hazel's parts, using the exact same v-fins and sensors. Unit 2 even has Hazel's face.

What other suits do you think could be Transpack system compatible? Feel free to give your well reasoned arguments, idle thoughts or ideas what would be the funniest.
I think the safest guess would be Nemo. It was probably planned to operate together with Marasai so it'd make sense they are compatible like that, not to mention the same applies to GM II. After all this standard wasn't some brand new Titans tech at this point, it was a Federation-wide standard for most new machines.
Where it gets funny is wondering how many other AEUG-use Anaheim suits could have maintained compatibility. Rick Dias? Hyaku Shiki? Zeta is right out due to its unique structure. But then Z Rapier I is supposed to have modular backpacks AND it takes after Rick Dias...
makes ya think doesn't it? Assuming your autism levels are high enough ig

Zaku Mariner always had a replacable backpack with an option for one focused on ground combat, tying it into the Transpack standard just makes sense. Gullinbursti/Kestrel have a replaceable backpack due the operatial limitations around the laser propulsion, but that takes the form of the core fighter itself, idk how you could fit the Transpack standard in there unless you refitted it with a non-core fighter cockpit block, kinda GP03-style.
I could imagine a Primrose connection though, even if simply because they both take after the "horizontal" style core fighter design pioneered with GP01. Another Hazel connection I'd like to see is if there was a test with a monoeye sensor mounted on its chest, a prelude to Gullinbursti using that as its primary camera while the head is only secondary. Could also tie it to Hambrabi as a bonus.

I'm not sure how to tie it directly, but if nothing else it does highlight ZZ's nature as "Gundam+G-Fighter" in one integrated form which is something AoZ mentions a lot when talking about the development doctrines of the era. Which is no surprise since that was even the idea when they designed it IRL.
But it is really damn funny we've had two manga in 2025 with new suit designs that emphasize that.

And I have the AK Gigantic Arms to show off, EW/AK as usual have fantastic quality and really nothing to complain about. There's some strange doubling up on parts due to having to split multi-colored runners, but not much of it is useful. It comes with the replacement part for Hrududu but that can't be attached to Hazel's backpack by itself sadly. Still, the arms themselves are fantastic, really clever engineering to do everything you really want them to do while having very simple builds. My Gaplant here has a good few years so it's looking a bit shoddy but surprisingly the shoulders hold up all that weight. She's a trooper.
>>23643121
Good to know about the rifle, that makes it much more attractive. That Tphoues creature is looking interesting. The chest covers from the Kutan booster look like upsized versions of the missile pods like on Barzam II, kinda cute. I wish I had that kit to play around with.

I don't think any Gaplant can do that, actually. The drawing explains they're actually suspended from the drum frame with the subarms >>23643138 but it still took a little modification to make it work. I had to replace the polycaps in the binders with 3mm ones (for convenience I just nabbed the ones from the forearms for connecting to the binders since they would be unused) and then also use this part from the Battle Arm Arms kit so they're aligned properly. It's still a bit finicky, mind, but someone more skilled could make a proper build out of this.

Yeppers. It may be controversial but it's the first Thunderbolt design I kinda like, even if I'd still change a lot. But ZZ with a G-Fighter transformation is damn cool and integrating Zeong into the head design (due to all the Perfect Zeong stuff) is downright inspired.

Messala Dinofaust Jupiter kits when?
>>
>>23643274
the gist is that they go over the origins of Zeon from Deikun's postulates regarding Earth restoration and the economic independence of Spacenoids, the worsening relations between ostensibly independent Side 3 and the Federation and then the various post-war remnant groups.
They note that they were very varied and the term "Zeon Remnants" is an oversimplification from the Earth Federation.
You've had hardline Zeon nationalists that never accepted the end of the war, loyalists to Deikun's original ideals, loyalists to the Zabis (each individually) and then Haman's and Char's Zeons which were mostly based around their own personalities.
AEUG and Mafty also inherit Deikun's postulates but not the Zeon culture, so they can't be considered the same thing either.
There's also Earth-based groups like African Liberation Front that incorporated Zeon soldiers and weapons even though they themselves can't be called Zeon.
Later you can also add Zeon Republic nationalists specifically, seeking to restore it after it lost autonomy in UC 0100.
And then there are miscellaneous pirates, bandits and other armed groups with no major ideological goals in the first place.
Take it this way and you can't really put all these groups under a single umbrella and Federation rhetoric that they're constantly facing internal divisions isn't entirely accurate - it's not divisions when they were never the same faction in the first place.
There can also be controversies here, like how AEUG fought for Spacenoids but after Char left at the end of Gryps they assassinated Haman and were incorporated into the Federation. That's how some people see these things.

They also tease that they'll elaborate on Jupiter Phantom in the future, for now we just know there was an attempt at suppressing them with the Valiant Gundam in 0095 but it's a mystery if that was actually attempted, let alone successful. It's a reference to how that story was announced but didn't go anywhere.
