Nearly a year had passed from the beginning of Zeon's declaration of war against the Earth Federation government and its colonies. More than half of humanity would be lost in the initial fighting of this conflict, with untold other losses emerging from the continued fighting on both sides. After so many losses, one final battle that would mark this terrible conflicts conclusion would occur at the Space Fortress A.Baoa.Qu...however, a single glancing blow to a Core Booster in this great struggle would come to shape the world that would reshape the future of mankind...

>Sayla: An engine failure? Not now of all times...!

Cutting the propulsion to her Core Booster's engines, Sayla braces herself for the shift in G-Forces as a Gelgoog's beam grazes the bottom of her fighter. As her attacker prepares yet another shot, a cascade of missiles bombard Zeon's new model Mobile Suit.

>Bright: 006, return to the ship for repairs! The Booster will not last much longer in its current state! Fraw, have you been able to detect the Gundam's position?
>Fraw: No sir!
>Bright: Then recall the Guncannon's immediately! Even if their formations have started to weaken, we are right at the epicenter of their defenses!

Using the emergency fuel onboard her Core Booster, Sayla makes an emergency landing back aboard the White Base, just as multiple beams collide against the White Base's starboard engines.

>Mirai: Captain, starboard control has been lost!
>Bright: No other choice then...prepare for an emergency landing! Force our way into that space dock!
>Mirai: Understood!

Floating out from the wreckage of her damaged Core Booster, Sayla feels an invasive sensation in her mind, with images of both her brother and Amuro bombarding her thoughts.

>Job: Brace for impact!

As the White Base is forced to make an emergency landing within the Space Fortress, the severely damaged Gundam is set to function on auto-pilot by Amuro.

Clinging against a jagged formation of debris from the destruction spreading into A.Baoa.Qu, Amuro watches as the Gundam approaches a wide opening within the fortress, its automatic targeting system causing it to raise its beam rifle above to fire upon the Zeong's remains laying in wait. As the Gundam opens fire, an equally large beam erupts from the Zeong's head, with it burning through the Gundam's remaining arm and one of its legs. Boosting out from the new detonations created from the beams impact, Amuro lands within a nearly deoxygenated corridor. Sensing the very heart of the Zabi family's influence still within the fortress, Amuro grips the pistol in his hand as he focuses in on the sensation.

>Char: By now you must have realized that you inherited those abilities from Lalah. You should be grateful they have allowed you to have survived this long.

While still sensing the hatred of the Zabi's within the fortress, Amuro's focus shifts to his hated rival as he turns to face him.

>Amuro: It was because of you that she was even dragged into this war!
>Char: Without this war, she would have never awoken to her potential as a Newtype. Neither would you-
>Amuro: That is just an excuse!
>Char: It is simply the cold, hard truth of the matter, Amuro. Where Lalah represented the potential of Newtypes, you are the very personification of what will spawn hatred and fear against them.

Even as Amuro keeps his pistol trained to Char, the Red Comet simply approaches without any signs of fear, his rifle remaining still against his side.

Gripping his rifle tighter, Char's muscles twitch slightly as his eyes remain locked with Amuro's.

>Char: Which is why I have to kill you.

Lunging forward, Char opens fire with his rifle. Narrowly avoiding the shot directed at him, Amuro's kicks against a nearby wall to reposition himself to fire on Char, with his sidearms shot grazing Char's shoulder. Wincing in pain from the impact, Char retreats deeper into the fortress, with Amuro pursuing behind him. While both famed and feared aces engage one another outside of their Mobile Suits, the White Base's crew fight for their lives as Zeon troops swarm the interior of the "Trojan Horse" that had long carried their defeat upon its wings. Landing within the hangar, Kai and Hayato's Guncannon's attempt to keep any additional Mobile Suits from opening fire on the now trapped and stationary White Base.

>Kai: Damned lunatics, why even throw your lives away when you could be getting outta here?!
>Hayato: Kai, another of the skirted ones is coming out!
>Kai: Just give us a break already, will you?!

Firing a cannon round into the side of a Rick Dom, the cripple Zeon Mobile Suit attempts to crash into the back of the White Base, only to be stopped as Kai's Guncannon tackles against it. As Kai attempts to reposition his Guncannon, a rocket smashes into the back section of his machine, forcing Kai to make an emergency ejection towards the White Base.

>Hayato: D-damn it, I didn't want to do this...!

Hayato aims his vulcans for a score of Zeon soldiers moving to infiltrate the White Base, with each round reducing the collection of aged and youthful soldiers below into a misty vapor wisping in zero gravity.

>Hayato: You still want to come at us now?! Huh?!

Within the White Base, Fraw keeps Katz, Letz and Kikka latch onto her as she floats towards one of remaining Launches still waiting for departure.

>Fraw: We are almost there. Just keep holding onto me-
>Zeon Recruit: Sieg Zeon!!

Rushing towards Fraw and the children with a grenade in his hand, the Zeon Recruit, no older than Fraw herself, pulls the safety pin in preparation to toss it. Just as he arcs his arm back for the toss, the soldier hesitates as Katz releases himself from Fraw, ready to shield her and the other children from the blast.

>Zeon Recruit: A-a little kid? Why is there a-

Lost in the moment of confusion, the recruit fails to toss his grenade as it erupts in his hand, blasting his arm into a fleshy paste as he collapses to his knees in shock from its loss. Grabbing back onto Katz, Fraw plants her helmet against his, screaming at him for his recklessness.

>Fraw: Why did you do that?! You could have been-
>Katz: I...want to protect all of you! Like Amuro!

Hugging onto Katz, Fraw begins to wail from the sheer emotions of nearly losing him, with Letz and Kikka both trying to comfort her. Floating to their side, Sayla gently pushes Fraw and the others towards the Launch.

>Sayla: Take care of Fraw!
>Katz: M-Miss Mass!

Sayla lands next to the Zeon Recruit, her eyes drawn to the exposed bone that had once been part of his arm.

>Zeon Recruit: Mama...! I want to go home to-
>Sayla: This isn't...this isn't what my father wanted from Zeon...!

Knowing that nothing can be done for the young man, Sayla kneels at his side, grabbing his other hand as she prepares her side arm to put him out of his misery.

>Sayla: Just hold on as tight as you can, ok?
>Zeon Recruit: I want to go home-
>Sayla: Close your eyes for me. It won't hurt much longer...

Pressing the pistol against the Recruits cracked helmet, Sayla prepares herself to take the shot...just for her to flinch as another shot ring out from her side. Realizing she had not taken the shot, Sayla turns to find Kai standing at her side, with his rifle still smoking from the shot to the Zeon Recruits skull.

Within the bowels of A.Baoa.Qu, Amuro and Char are deprived of their firearms as they clash fencing blades.

>Char: Do you have any idea why I brought you here?
>Amuro: Because...a Newtypes physical prowess is no different from a normal persons.

>Anuro: How much longer are you going to blind yourself to our true enemy here, Char?! The Zabi's are the ones we should be-

Clashing their rapiers against each other, Amuro and Char leap back for distance, with both going in for killing strikes against one another. As Amuro's Rapier impacts through Char's helmet and scars his forehead, Char's blade rips through Amuro's shoulder, barely missing his bone as it snaps inside of his arm. As both of them slam their helmet against one another, an explosion casts both men back to the ground as they lay atop one another. As Amuro attempts to lean up, Char rips the rapiers broken tip from Amuro's shoulder, aiming its sharp edge for his hated chest.

>Char: For Lalah...!

Slamming the rapier's tip against Amuro's normal suit, it pierces into his chest as Char keeps his eyes locked with Amuro's, intent on seeing the life leave Lalah's killer. As the two are made to stare at one another though, they find themselves divorced from reality as a sea of cosmic forces surround both Newtypes.

>Char: (This sensation...what is-)
>Amuro: (You don't know, do you? When Lalah died, it was the same way...)
>Char: (...If things has been different, I would have wanted you to fight at my side. You were to much of a danger to be allowed to continue-)

Feeling the warmth of Lalah's hands beneath his normal suit, Char releases a shallow breath.

Awakening back to reality, Char finds himself over Amuro's body, the rapier's edge still forced into his chest. Pulling the blade from Amuro, Char tosses aside the bloodied piece of metal. As Amuro's breaths grow more strained, Char inspects the site of the strike, shaking his head slightly.

>Char:...I intended to kill you, and yet my blade missed any vital organs. Is this really what Lalah wants?
>Amuro: C-Char...!
>Char: The Zabi's. Even now, I can't bring myself to focus on where she is...so guide me. Just as Lalah would have if you had not taken her from me.

Onboard the Zanzibar-class Spacecraft readying for launch, Kycilia pinches her forehead as a migraine begin to form.

>Zeon Officer: Excellency, is everything alright?
>Kycilia: It is nothing. Ready me an Asprin by the time we depart. (What is this feeling? Why...do I have goosebumps all of a sudden? Zeon is mine now. The Principality will survive in its purest form with me in control...so why do I feel afraid?)

Within a section of A.Baoa.Qu still supplying minimal Life Support, Char assists Amuro in removing his normal suit, along with sealing off the open wound on his shoulder and chest. Wiping the trickling blood away from his open wounds, Char assists Amuro into a Zeon Normal Suit.

>Char:...I can sense where she is. Just stay put, Amuro.

>Job: Come on Captain, where are you?

Hayato's Guncannon explodes as two Heat Hawks slam into its back. As he floats out towards the final Launch preparing to depart, he is targeted by a Zeon sniper on one of the elevated platforms. As the sniper readies his shot, Bright leaps out from an exploding door way, grabbing onto the sniper and slamming his head against the guard rail, exposing him to the vacuum of space as he signals for Hayato to board.

>Mirai: Captain, hurry over! There is no time left!

Keeping hold of the sniper, Bright fires on any additional Zeon soldiers grappling their way into the hangar, gunning down eleven men before he crashes onto the hull of the escape Launch.

>Bright: Depart, now!!
>Job: Hang on everyone!

The Launch boosts out from the White Base, just as additional rockets and beams slam into its hull. Breathing heavily, Bright counts the crewman aboard the Launch to ensure no one was left behind. Upon eying the last person onboard the craft, Bright coughs from the strain to his body.

>Bright:...Amuro didn't make it, did he?
>Fraw:...No, Captain.

While the survivors of the White Base try to compose themselves, Kai takes a seat next to Sayla as she remains curled on the hull of the departing Launch.

>Kai: I know you hate my guts, but your running low on oxygen. Here, take some of my spare-
>Sayla: He's still...alive. Both Amuro and my brother are-

Kai connects a tube to the back of Sayla's helmet, filtering Oxygen to replenish her nearly depleted supply. As the fresh oxygen envelops Sayla's suit, she feels her mind growing calmer, with the visions of Amuro and her brother fading away, only for a flash of Kycilia's unmasked face to flash in her mind. Onboard the bridge of Kycilia's Zanzibar, the surviving Zabi grows increasingly paranoid her migraine rapidly worsens, with her seeing Sayla's figure flashing within her mind.

Rubbing her eyes to regain focus, Kycilia gasps as she hears Char's voice echoing through her mind.

>Char: (I am sending your sister to join you, Garma. Consider it a fond farewell present.)

Her vision still blurred, Kycilia's eyes slowly focus as she finds a man holding onto a miniaturized beam bazooka aiming for the bridge of the Zanzibar.

>Kycilia: Is that Char?!

A single mortified gasp escapes Kycilia's mouth as the beam erupts from Char's Bazooka launcher, with her head soon being torn off as it cleaves through her neck. Feeling Kycilia's life ceasing, Amuro feels a sense of calm washing over him as he feels his body truly beginning to relax. Entombed within a Zeon normal suit, Amuro tries to reach out for Sayla and the others, only for an image of an orange haired infant to appear in his thoughts.

Losing consciousness from his wounds, Amuro drifts into a deep slumber, just as Char arrives to recover him.

Fraw, still mortified from nearly losing Katz in his brash attempt to protect her, keeps him held tightly while Letz and Kikka both stare towards A.Baoa.Qu's detonating exterior.

Departing from A.Baoa.Qu's airspace, A Gwazine-class prepares to deploy for Karma Point at Lunar Orbit. Onboard this vessel, two Zeon Officers salute to Char as he observes the final flashes of resistance at A.Baoa.Qu.

Following the battle at A.Baoa.Qu, a treaty marking the end of hostilities would be signed at Granada. After nearly an entire year of bloodshed, the most damaging war in humanities history would draw to a close. Departing into space, the Gwazine carrying Char Aznable and Amuro Ray would begin its journey to the resource asteroid of Axis, located in the Asteroid Belt. While the member of the Zabi family responsible for the war that had claimed so man had been slain, their family would continue on, with the daughter of Dozle Zabi already being groomed to fulfill such a role. As Char is given privacy with Amuro as he is placed into a private medical section of the Gwazine, the two come to an agreement to not bring harm to the child, despite her bloodline.

>Char:...If you try to escape, i'll kill you myself. Do we understand each other-
>Amuro: Sayla...she is your sister?
>Char:...She is, yes.

As both Newtypes find themselves further from the light of Earth, they soon find an understanding in one another, even through the lingering hatred and anger that they continue to hold onto.

Looking out towards a Mobile Suit having its exterior armor reattached, a matured Amuro looks back to the founder and Patriarch of the Ronah family.

>Amuro: He knows the strings that come with being tied to Anaheim. If you can provide him with a new identity, he will accept a life in service to the Concern.
>Scharnhorst:...You have not disappointed us before. I expect only the best results from your work, Azul Stel.

As Amuro and the Patriarch of the Ronah family shake hands, the final pieces of the exterior armor are applied to the Mobile Suit. To "Azul Stels", "Gundam".

So, with Amuro on Axis how set back in the Titan's Newtype research since without Amuro they've lost a major combat capable newtype to use as a measuring stick. As Kamille and Fa ride a public shuttle to their residential district, Fa pouts at Kamille's aloofness.

Kamille turns his head away from Fa, instead focusing on a report regarding increased terror activity being reported from the Colonies, with the Titans task force rapidly mobilizing to suppress them.

Fa nudges Kamille's side, alerting him to one of Green Noa's MP's lazily lounging on one of the shuttles seats. Suppressing his anger, Kamille steps off the shuttle with Fa, with both taking a rental car back to their homes. As Kamille lets Fa out, she attempts to offer him a seat at her families table again, only for him to coldly decline. As Kamille parks the rental car and makes his way back to his home, he is surprised to see his fathers car parked in the driveway for the first time in weeks. While a flicker of joy at having his father home emerges, it is quickly snuffed out at the lack of his mother presence, with both barely interacting with one another any longer. Making his way inside, Kamille finds his father in the living room, with him downloading multiple floppy disks of data onto a portable terminal.

Slamming the portable terminal shut, Franklin lets out a small cough as he tries to feign friendliness to his son.

In a normal run I'd assume this vote would determine Kamille's view on following orders from Titans but since we're only focusing on Kamille without a grand strategy focus in the run it wouldn't work this run since we'd get plenty of votes as Kamille. Still, I'm leaning towards Leave the house and wander. Chances are high Kamille would run into an interesting character or situation.

Kamille's hand begins to relax, though the simmering emotions of his frustrations continue on as approaches the front door again.

Rushing out from his household, Kamille holds back a stream of tears as his cheek continues to throb from being struck. Rather than attempting to follow his son however, Franklin returns to his terminal, increasing his pace on extracting data, with his eyes remaining fixed to the phone in anticipation of another call. As Kamille wanders through his neighborhood, the young man struggle to control himself as he bites into his finger nervously. As he nibbles on his skin however, he begins to find holes in his father explanation, with the method of de-fragmentation he had claimed to have been using to be not only ineffective, but outright impossible given the types of data storage he been apparently transferring from.

Kamille feels a shift in his senses as the reality around him distorts. Looking around himself in a state of confusion, Kamille finds the endless expanse of the cosmos enshrouding him as as he overhears a voice in his thoughts.

>Hilda: Kamille! Look at me, Kamille!

Kamille snaps back to reality, with his mother Hilda shaking him back to his senses.

Hilda takes Kamille by his wrist, leading him back to her car as she drives back towards their home. As they reach the driveway, Kamille finds his fathers car to have already departed.

Hilda tries to silence herself, realizing her own frustrations have begun to boil to the surface.

Hilda finds herself unable to compose any words to speak with her son, her own thoughts turning to her failing marriage and the shame of admitting to it. Hilda silently steps out from her car, unlocking the front door to her house as she makes her way to the couch to rest. Slowly following behind her, Kamille also struggles to speak as he feels the immense pressure weighing on his mother. Leaning down beside her, Kamille waits for his mother to hug him, only for her to blankly stare at the coffee table. As a new bud of anger begins to form in Kamille at his mothers detachment from him, he notices one of the data disks that his father been downloading from nestled on the side of a cushion. Taking hold of it, Kamille makes his way to his room to inspect the contents of the data. Using his own private terminal, Kamille scans the contents of the data disk, finding it to be filled with numerous lines to corrective, recombinant data, usually used for patching defective code.

Curious to a theory of his, Kamille opens a private file on his computer containing an early data assembly draft of the project his father had been working on in private. Comparing the corrective data to the data, Kamille discovers multiple lines of critical code relating to the Mobile Suits automatic alignment systems being corrupt, with the corrective patch data appearing to properly connect the code back safely.

>Kamille: (Is he trying to cover up some kind of screw up he made? This draft is from nearly a year ago though...yet he is only getting around to fixing it now?)

On the next day, Kamille finds himself still deep in thought about the night before, with him coasting through the day. As his primary courses draw a close and Karate practice begins, Kamille prepares to slip out as practice begins.

Kamille rushes through his schools halls, his thoughts now only focused on seeing the arrival of new craft at the space port and looking further into the data disk that his father had left behind. As he reaches the entrance, he is stopped as Mezun's hand grips onto his shoulder.

Mezun shows no hesitation as as slaps Kamille across his cheek, sending the young man to his side as Kamille scurries off.

Blindly sprinting forward, Kamille winces as he hears his name being called out, with Fa trying to keep pace with him.

As Kamille drifts towards the main shuttle junction, Fa calls out after him to keep him from wandering to far from her. Arriving at the primary transport junction, Kamille feels his repressed anger boiling as multiple Titans MP's guard the area.

From across the hall, multiple Titan Officers speak with one another casually, with a blond-haired Officer tapping his fingers against his comrades outfit.

Eying Kamille from afar, Jerid lets out a small chuckle as he prepares to comment on the young man's name, only for him to be interrupted as Emma interjects into his conversation.

Meanwhile at Green Noa's fourth docking port, Franklin tries to remain calm as his contact with an Anti-Federation Agent deteriorates as one of the promised corrective data disks he had promised was not delivered, along with his sudden demands for his Mistress to also be smuggled out from the colony. Fearing for his life, and also paranoid of his attempted defection from the Titans being detected, Franklin hastily delivers an anonymous communication for help to the Titans garrison.

Taking Kamille's hand, Fa rushes him to the safety of her home to observe the situation from afar.

Reaching into his pocket, Kamille's pupil's dilate as he focuses onto the data disk his father had left behind.

From behind a drifting asteroid, the mothership of the AEUG's forces fires a focused Mega Particle shot into Green Noa, with three Rick Dias's moving to attack from the new made hole.

Reaching into a nearby duffel bag, Reccoa tosses a rifle to the other soldier of the AEUG, with her grabbing hold of one for herself.

>Reccoa: It is now or never, Lieutenant.
>Azul: Did Lieutenant Quattro put you up to this? Was this some kind of back up if my way didn't work?!
>Reccoa: Whatever disagreements you two have, we can't afford to hesitate when fighting the Titans!

While Reccoa and Gorski move to track the Mark II's movements, Azul is forced to ready his Core Fighter for launch, now forced to deploy into combat to end the engagement before it can degenerate any further.

As multiple sections of Green Noa's residential block are annihilated in an instant from the Argama's attack, the Titans defense forces scramble to intercept the AEUG's attacking forces, only to find themselves woefully outmatched against a red-coated Rick Dias.

Watching the destruction from within Fa's house, Kamille feels an intense throbbing in his head as the red Rick Dias makes a pass over the streets.

A deep sense of paranoia fills Kamille as he sprints out from Fa's home, his mind filled with the horrible realization his mother may have also been dragged into the debacle created by his fathers actions. As Kamille ducks to the side of a nearby house, his fears are realized as he finds his mother being pushed back into her home by a Titan Officer.

>Hilda: Why won't you tell me where my son is?!
>Titan Officer: If he is a student, he would have already been moved to one of the shelters! Now step back!

In the skies above the Residential district, Kacricon's Gundam Mark II launches into battle, its rifle trained on one of the Rick Dias's at Quattro's side.

Multiple warning messages flash across the Gundam Mark II's upper monitor, signaling a catastrophic failure of the AMBAC control system.

>Kacricon: A failure?! Now of all times?! D-damn it all, I can't control its-gaaa!!

Trapped in a free fall, Kacricon's Gundam Mark II plummets to the surface below, its emergency collision system dispersing protective airbags to protect him as it impacts a nearby house. Finding his control to be completely frozen, Kacricon jumps out from the immobilized Mobile Suit.

Moving behind cover with Kacricon, Bright pushes the injured Titan pilot down as he waits for another opening to open fire again.

Covering her movements with unfocused shots, Reccoa seals herself in the cockpit of the Gundam Mark II, using the data disk extracted from Franklin to correct its malfunctioning systems.

>Quattro: Just focus on falling back! We can handle the remaining capture from here!

As Jerid's Gundam Mark II prepares to attack Quattro's formation, his machine also suffers a similar system crash as it collapses near Kamille's home.

Forcing open the Mark II's cockpit hatch, Jerid leaps out onto the ground below, only to find himself face to face with Kamille as the two stare one another down.

A GM II lands over Jerid's downed Gundam Mark II, with its boosters blowing him away as his body crashes against the side of a nearby building.

>Matosh: "Mom"? Someone grab that kid! He must be the one with a connection to the AEUG forces attacking!

As the GM II prepares to target the Mark II stolen by Reccoa, Quattro's Rick Dias slices away its arms, before opening fire on its cockpit with its vulcan pods. Fatally damaged, the GM II tumbles forward, boosting directly into Kamille's home.

Driven into a feral state of concern, Kamille sprints into the wreckage of his home, desperately crying out for his mother to respond to him.

Finding Hilda's hand reaching out from near the GM II's crash site, Kamille cries out as he takes hold of it, desperate to pull his mother to safety...only the mangled arm to be torn from the rubble as Kamille finds the splattered remains of Hilda crushed beneath the downed GM.

Kamille's throat releases a mortified wail of despair at his mothers fate. As Kamille's agonized screams grow louder, Franklin crawls out from numerous pieces of debris, his body bloodied from the immense weight that had been crushing him.

Just as father and son lock eyes with one another, the beam saber of the stolen Gundam Mark II stabs into Franklins location, vaporizing him instantly.

>Reccoa: One less loose end to deal with now...a kid? Why is he...?

Pushing Kamille away from the site of the beam saber impact, Reccoa begins to move the Gundam Mark II away from the ruined house. Driven by a pure, unbridled rage, Kamille looks to the inside of the Gundam Mark II Unit 03, his thoughts now focused on revenge against the machines that had claimed his parents lives. Climbing into the Mark II's cockpit, Kamille wildly yanks on its control sticks in a fruitless effort to make his fathers creation move, only to find himself completely enshrouded by warning screens. Even in his state of madness, Kamille recognizes the error code as the same on the data disk he had found the night before. Ramming the data disk into the Mark II's data reader, its systems begin to correct instantly, with its AMBAC and movement systems fully released.

The booster of Unit 03 flares with a blue intensity as Kamille pushes its thrust to maximum to slam against Reccoa's Gundam Mark II.

>Kamille: How-dare-you!!!

Before Reccoa is able to prepare any form of defense, her Mark II is rammed against an administrative building, with it being helplessly pinned from the intense force of Unit 03's hold on it.

>Quattro: Apolly, Roberto, focus on capturing Unit 01! Reccoa, I am coming for you!
>Reccoa: I won't...be helpless...!

Just as a small barrage of vulcan rounds escape Unit 02's head, Unit 03 slams its free arm down upon it, detonating Unit 02's head as Kamille ravenously moves to rip Reccoa out from it cockpit through the exposed section where its head once was. Just as Quattro moves to pierce Unit 03's generator with his Mobile Suits beam saber, Kamille senses his approach, causing him to rapidly shift Unit 03's head 180-degree's to spray vulcan rounds against Quattro's Rick Dias, forcing him to disengage from his initial strike. With a single focused yank of the Mark II's arm, Reccoa is torn out through the now hollowed neck section of Unit 02, with her grasped body being brought towards the Mark II's turning head.

>Reccoa: (Is this it? Is this how I am going to die?)

As Unit 03's manipulators on its hand begin to tighten, Reccoa releases a pained moan as he muscles are strained from pressure.

>Kamille: Just die already, you-

Finally catching a glimpse of Reccoa's face through her broken helmet, Kamille feels a moment hesitation, with it shifting into a moment of unwanted connection as visions of her being forced upon by faceless figures of varying sizes and shapes bombard this thoughts. Despite not understanding the extent of the invasion her mind, Reccoa shrieks as the sensation of her deepest trauma's are brought back to the surface of her ego. Even with such visions tainting his mind, Kamille's anger still consumes him.

With an immense impact, the arm of the Unit 03 holding Reccoa is sliced away by the sharp edge of the flying shield.

Emerging from the skies above, an unidentified Gundam-type uses the wire connector on its arm to redirect the shield to swipe Unit 03 back from the managed wreckage of Unit 02.

Still driven by his killing urges, Kamille attempts to fire his vulcan's on Reccoa, only to be blocked by Azul's Gundam.

Slamming his Gundam's knee against the chest of Unit 03, Azul prepares to capture the now incapacitated Mark II, only for him to sense Reccoa's sheer mental anguish from the battle. Not wanting to risk her life, Azul moves to pull Reccoa out from Unit 03's severed arm, lowering her into his cockpit.

>Apolly: Lieutenant Stel, i'll finish off Unit 03-
>Azul: If we wait any longer, there will be no escaping this place! Get out of here already!

Quattro aims his Rick Dias's beam pistol for the cockpit of Unit 03, just for him to detect more GM II's beginning to mobilize on his position.

Drifting out of consciousness, Kamille reaches out for his control sticks, intent on continuing his battle even as his senses fade. As Kamille's hand finally reaches the control sticks, he collapses against the seat of the damaged Unit 03.

Sure. It's just that I imagine Quattro very much IS going to get away with it. What are they gonna do, throw him in the brig? No donuts after the mission? He's one of AEUG's best assets. I know they chucked Kamille in the brig in canon Zeta a couple of times but he's a rowdy teenager, the idea was to make him grow out of it. The same doesn't apply to a grown man like Quattro.

I'd say it depends on how horrific the Titans' actions are in this campaign. Emma started to have second doubts about how the Titans handled stuff and she made up her mind about defecting after seeing how terribly they handled the hostage situation with Kamille's mom. Since Kamille's parents are fucking dead this time around and the AEUG went in guns blazing inside a civilian colony and killed a bunch of civvies, I don't think she has any good reason to defect (yet).

Quattro allows himself to be pinned against his cockpit, with Azul keeping his elbow planted against his neck.

Taking advantage of Azul's distraction, Quattro seals his cockpit hatch. As it fully seals, Quattro breaks out from Azul's hold.

This is going to lead into the bargaining for getting Emma back while they keep the unit. Looking bad considering rec got an early boost. Idk if the R&A option would've been good considering 2v1

Ignoring the Officers calls to stop, Bright forces his way into Bask's temporary Office on Green Noa 1, where Kacricon clumsily explains the circumstances that had lead to his crash in the Mark II.

Without a single, Bask slams his fist into Bright's face. Caught completely off guard by the strike, Bright collapses onto the floor from the sheer force of the strike.

>Bask: You appear to have forgotten your place, Bright Noa. The Federation has no jurisdiction in this matter.
>Bright: Are you insane? The Titans are an extension of the Federation!

Seeing a chance to gain favor in front of Bask, Kacricon smacks the man who had assisted in saving his life before across the face as he begins to regain his balance.

>Kacricon: As the Colonel said, the Federation has no authority or jurisdiction here! Learn some respect for your betters, you commoner!

Seeing Bask's goggles fully locked onto him, Kacricon clenches his fist as he strikes Bright with a firm punch.

Driven into a frenzy from Bright's lack of authority, most of the Titan staff in the room move to begin attacking him, all while Bask stoically watches the beating. Jamaican lets out of a small cough to catch his superiors attention, hoping to not incur Bask ire.

Despite being thrashed by multiple men, Bright overhears Bask and Jamaicans words, further reminding him of the raw corruption now fueling the Titans ranks. Meanwhile in the Detainment Center at Green Noa 1, Kamille remains trapped within a padded cell as he is readied for termination. Drifting in and out of sleep, memories of better times with his parents continue to bombard his thoughts, only for them to shift into night terrors of the degeneration of their marriage and the numerous lies welding the relationship together, along with their final of being slain by the AEUG.

The door to Kamille's padded cell opens, with Jerid tossing a sealed container of recently heated food to him.

While Kamille is readied to be quietly executed to cover up any loose ends within Green Noa 1, footage of his use of the Gundam Mark II is spread by Green Noa's Underground News Network. While the majority of the transmissions of this footage are quickly shut down by the Titans Intelligence, a private data line in the Gryps sector transmits the footage to the attention of the Titans Supreme Commander, Jamitov Hymen.

Reading over the pardon document releasing Kamille of all charges, Bask prepares to strike his computer terminal, only to quickly calm himself upon reading the conditions of the pardon.

>Titan Officer: It has all been handled to your specifications, Colonel.
>Bask: Bring Franklins boy to me. I'll handle the remaining details on this. (What are you playing at, Jamitov? You want to make use of this Spacenoid filth? Fine...i'll put him to use.)

Kamille is dragged out from his cell and is brought directly before Bask Om. While no longer hungry, Kamille feels his body weakening from the stress and rage still lingering within him.

>Bask: Kamille Bidan, born on Earth in the city of Tokyo. Multiple time winner of robotics awards and Petite Mobile Suit competitions. By all accounts, you would be more than eligible for a position with the Titans given your background...and yet, your record shows insubordination and failure to comply with authority. >Bask: Speak when spoken to. Speak out of turn again and i'll show the difference between a soldier and a civilian. Listen, and listen well...your father conspired with the AEUG. Within seconds of speaking, Kamille found himself on the ground as Bask's fist crashes into his chest. Gasping for air, Kamille tries to scramble to his feet, only to be held down by Basks boot.

Grabbing a printed copy of the contract prepared by Jamitov's staff, Bask sets it on his desk as he takes a seat once again.

>Bask: Consider yourself grateful. Anyone else would have branded you an enemy of the state for your fathers actions. Prove yourself, and not only will your life be returned to you, but a life actually worth living in service to the Titans will also be yours.

Still gasping for air from being struck, Kamille forces himself to his knees as he weakly stands. As he slumps over Bask's desk, a pen in is slid next to the paper.

>Bask: Sign it. Now. If you refuse, there will be nothing left to protect you from the rest of the Titans.

I dont think reading over the contract will allow Kamille to negotiate or change the deal. Signing it immediately or after reading it over is basically determining Bask's view of Kamille.

If Kamille signs it immediately Bask likes Kamille more, maybe he's sympathetic to Kamille's thirst for revenge or tolerates him because Kamille obeyed him, hence Kamille being assigned to the Argama pursuit.

If Kamille signs after reading it over Bask is going to beat him up and then assign him somewhere else so he doesn't have to deal with him.

If Kamille doesn't sign thats pretty much an early bad end, using up one of the 3 respawns we have.

I'm voting to sign immediately. Kamille would get the chance to meet Jerid and Lila on the Argama pursuit mission as well as maybe rescue and recruit Emma.
Not going on the Argama pursuit might lead to teaming up with other people like Yazan or the New Desides but missing out on the Gundam Mk-II and the Argama storyline is too much of a loss, Kamille needs a good suit and mentor right now and the Argama route gives us both in the Gundam Mk-II and Lila.

Bask is looking for any technicality to kill Kamille after all. Refusing the contract - even if it's just so we can read it through - could be construed that way.
Jerid will be PISSED we are taking his Mk. II. But the pursuit of the Argama will absolutely be a disaster if we aren't there.
This is our chance to build some rapport with Jerid, Kakricon, Lila (when she shows up), and possibly Emma.
Even in the best case scenario reading through that contract where we don't get killed, we will be stuck in a piece of junk Hizack most likely. And we have no ability to actually negotiate away any horrible clauses in this contract that will probably get Kamille sent to Murasame Labs later.
By the way, without Kamille's parents to use as bait, I'm wondering if Bask is going to try and use Kamille on some kind of suicide mission pursuing the Argama. He's not going to let go of this suspicion that we are AEUG sympathisers.

Despite his anger towards the Titans and their active abuses of power, Kamille signs the document without hesitation for the sake of achieving his revenge. Amused by Kamille's lack of concern for the exact stipulations of the recruitment, Bask readies the young Newtype for one final test of his true allegiance.

>Bask: Get him the boy a uniform and transport him to the Alexandria with the Mark II...what?! The Luna II garrison has already intercepted that AEUG ship?!

Meanwhile on the verges of Green Noa 1's airspace, a vessel from the Luna II garrison moves to block the Argama and its escort Salamis from escaping the sector.

>Chang: We only need to keep that vessel immobilized until the Titans arrive. No need to risk stepping on their toes over this affair.
>Lila: If the Titans were anywhere near competent, they would have already been in a position to pincer them properly by now. Hmm? That ship is...?

Moving ahead of her formation of Galbaldies, Lila looks over the frame of the Argama with a curious, almost envious gaze.

>Lila: Are the AEUG capable of building ships of that caliber? If Anaheim is truly sponsoring them, this could drive the entire Federation into a Civil War-
>Galbaldy pilot 1: Lieutenant Commander, an unidentified Mobile Suit is hailing us!

Azul's Gundam hovers near an asteroid, its I.F.F openly being transmitted to gain the attention of Lila's squadron.

>Galbaldy pilot 2: Is he stupid? The guy is completely open.
>Lila: Hold your fire until I give the order. He is obviously trying to lure us away from that ship...Tsung, Junger, move for the hull of those AEUG vessels!

Just as the two Galbaldies in Lila's formation move to take positions below the Argama, Azul's Gundam signals for them to keep their distance.

Lila changes her communication frequency to Azul's contacting him directly.

>Lila: This is Lieutenant Lila Rira of the Bosnia. Is your vessel in affiliation with the AEUG?
>Azul: It is. The actions that were carried out today were in response to illegal weapons testing that were being carried out on Green Noa 1. We have no intention of acting against the Earth Federation's forces unless we are fired upon first.
>Lila: Such a noble sentiment for those who openly attacked a space colony. If your vessel refuses to surrender, we will immediately open fire!
>Azul: Then we have no other choice than to defend ourselves.

As Lila's wingmen take aim for the Argama's lower hull, a beam fires out from a disguised asteroid. Ripping through the dummy balloon, the remote operated shield of Azul's Gundam fires again, destroying the beam rifle equipped of one of the Galbaldy's. Rather than finishing off the Galbaldy however, the shield flies past the damaged machine, returning to the arm of Azul's Gundam.

>Lila: Pull back, both of you!

Firing upon the heavily modified Gundam, Lila's initial three shots miss, though she keeps her eyes locked onto a nearby asteroid to lure Azul to it as she readies her shields missile launcher.

>Lila: (The stray blast should at least leave him open...)

The shield missile from Lila's Galbaldy fires, with it's movements being masked by Lila's covering fire. To her sheer surprise, Azul contorts his Gundam's position to fire on the missile, destroying it before it can impact the asteroid.

>Lila: (H-he took it out mid firing?! With the Minovsky Particle density here, he couldn't have locked onto that quickly-)

While continuing to engage Quattro's Rick Dias, Kamille grows increasingly frustrated from his inability to land a single blow against it. As he readies yet another shot, his focus is broken by a warning notification alerting him to his rifles nearly depleted energy.

>Quattro: The pilot is moving more cautiously...Apolly, break off and attack the Mark II from behind! Draw it directly to the Argama!

Upon detecting another signal approaching him from behind, Kamille prepares to take aim with his beam rifle, only to drop it upon being fired upon by the vulcan pods of Quattro's Rick Dias.

In a flash of inspiration, Kamille fires his Mark II's vulcans at the nearly depleted beam rifle, detonating it just as Apolly's Rick Dias passes it.

>Quattro: Apolly, regain your balance!
>Kamille: You are mine now!

Breaking off from attacking Quattro, Kamille tosses one of his Mark II's beam sabers into the chest of Apolly's Rick Dias.

The Mark II is thrown into a spin as Apolly's Rick Dias fires against its shield.

>Kamille: The cockpit wasn't in the chest?! I-I can't correct my position like this!

Just as Quattro prepares his shot, he is forced to evade as Lila's squadron arrives.

Boosting around the Galbaldy squadron's beam fire, Quattro destroys two Mobile Suits in a matter of seconds as he takes hold of Apolly's escape pod. Using the explosion of Apolly's Rick Dias to mask his retreat, Quattro and Roberto's surviving machines pull away as the Argama's engine enter full speed. Position her Galbaldy in front of the Mark II as it continues to aimlessly spin, Lila stops its momentum.

>Kamille: What was that?! I took out one of their Mobile Suits by myself-

While having failed to damage the Argama, along with suffering a loss of nearly a third of their Hizacks, Jamaican registers the operation as a partial success with the capture of the Rick Dias's wreckage. Surprised at Kamille's return, Jamaican gives the young pilot a half-hearted congratulation for his actions in the engagement.

Despite the critical nature of Lila's words, Kamille feels a genuine warmth in her guidance. Looking down to his hand, Kamille is reminded of the many times he had been disciplined by his mother in his youth for his nervous habits, especially during one of his emotional outbursts.

jerid in copy x's is almost always beyond saving. the closest hes been to being saved was during that amuro axis run (if im not conflating it with gundom's titans amuro with uncle jerid). we wont just get easy points with jerid, we shouldnt try to with how copy writes since itll just bite kamille in the ass long run.

Following behind Kacricon, Kamille looks back to Lila once again. While only having just met her, Kamille silently yearns for her comfort to fill the emotional void left from his mothers death. Meanwhile aboard the Argama, Quattro rubs his slightly bruised cheek as Azul is held back by Henken.

Within the sub-level of the Administrative Sector, multiple members of the Titans are knelt against a wall as Mezun reads over a list of names that had been planned for execution, with him finding only three survivors out of the sixty that had been rounded up.

>Mezun: Fa, we are going to get you somewhere safe. Everything has already been arranged for, so I need you to stay with us until we can-

Mezun kneels down neck to Fa, grasping her hand tightly.

As Fa is lifted up and carried out from the cold, sterile room by one of the young insurrectionist, Mezun takes hold of a metal baseball bat he had brought to defend himself, tapping it's top to the back of a particular Titan Officer's skull he had found attempting to humiliate Fa in her cell.

The Officer screams in horror as Mezun taps the bat against his cheek, before swinging it against his jaw at full force. Swing after swing, Mezun continues to slam the bat against the Officer's head, the metal frame of the bat slightly snapping upon the final blow. Stilling his breath, Mezun forces himself to look upon the splattered remains of his hated enemy, blackening his heart further with anger as he steels his resolve to completely and utterly eradicate the Titans and anyone who had supported them.

We are unfortunately stuck pursuing the one part of AEUG's force that we stand absolutely no chance of defeating. "Azul" and Quattro together guarantee we will never even get close to destroying the Argama, and that's before we consider their other aces that can stand toe-to-toe with our allies. Anyway, Fa is alive but has a blood feud with the Titans. Unfortunate but could be worse. Maybe we'll just have to cuck her with Lila or Four and hope she quits the military out of sheer misery.

My foreshadowing senses tell me that Wong Lee is a fucking retard and AEUG are about to lose a shitton of forces. Maybe that's the battle we would have been in if we delayed signing the contract?
As things go, the best we can do for now is try and get on good terms with our crewmates and prioritise keeping everyone alive. We just aren't capable of killing AEUG's best pilots in state-of-the-art mobile suits.
The capture of that Rick Dias might be some sort of research buff for us? Anything to get rid of the fucking Hizacks. We need better machines before we can seriously think about fighting "Azul" and Quattro.

Pursuing the AEUG's new vessel to the orbit above South America, Jamaican arranges for the combined assault of the Alexandria and Bosnia's forces to work in conjunction with orbital defense forces to finally sink the vessel responsible for raiding Green Noa.

Kamille feels an intense pressure building in his forehead as he slumps onto his control panel, the intense migraine twisting his senses. Forcing himself to look up, Kamille feels his thoughts turning to Lila. Within the cockpit of Lila's Galbaldy, she feels a tightness forming in her own chest.

I'm gonna cut against the grain a bit and say that we should follow the mission plan here.
Lila is depending on the Titans squad being able to occupy the Argama's MS. Reinforce and Order will split the primary assault team up, and mean more of the Argama's MS will be right by Lila. Reinforce will piss everybody off, and Order isn't likely to work because we don't have good rapport with our wingmen.

Follow orders here. Show that we're reliable, give Lila the opening she needs, and don't compromise the entire operation and risk everybody's lives on a whim.

We can survive a one-on-one duel with any of the Argama's pilots in this Mk. II, possibly by using newtype magic if necessary to make Quattro or Azul lose concentration. The same is not true for any of our allies, they are basically fucked if they get isolated. We only need to call for help if both Quattro and Azul focus on us, which will be impossible while the Argama is under attack.
We don't have the luxury of seeing Jamaican's battle plans in any detail, but Kamille certainly seems to believe it's not a pincer, it's a sacrifice of the Bosnia team to give us a clear shot at the Argama. Jamaican is definitely not above feeding Lila bad info earlier and even if he was telling the truth, he's just a bad commander whose plans never work.
I just think Jamaican's plan is going to result in defeat in detail basically. We need to beef up the weaker side of this force, which is the Bosnia Team.

I don't trust Jerid and Kacricon to do shit. Letting them take point will only put them at risk and having them reinforce Lila will likely only result in them getting in the way trying to show off. Sticking to Jamaican's plan is the only one that makes sense imo. We can't expect things to go the same way in canon since Kamille is where he is and we also can't expect the enemy to always act rationally.

Copy has modified a copy of the video game Gihren's Greed for use in these threads.
He's free writing a scenario, usually after giving us a lowdown on the type of story it is, such as "Titans Kamille" or "Grey AEUG".
He plays the game but pauses to ask us to make key decisions. Not every decision we make is directly inputted into the game, for example, this relationship system where we are +1 with Jamaican and Lila but -1 with Jerid and Kacricon is not a real game mechanic. For now it's just a narrative thing and it might change how Copy writes the results of things we do. There's a chance a character might get their in-game stats changed later as a result of this, or get reassigned from one faction to another. These are all just Copy opening up a tool and editing variables in the game as a result of stuff happening in these threads, they are not a part of the game normally.
The actual Gihren's Greed game only has very limited storytelling, just some cutscenes that mark major historic events (e.g. the start of Operation Odessa, the arrival of Axis into the Earth Sphere, faction victory cutscenes) and clips where characters will ask "you" (that is, the faction leader you are playing as) to make a decision, or giving you information related to previous decisions.

While tempted to break off from the planned formation to reinforce Lila's squadron, Kamille considers the ramification of throwing off the entire operation. Begrudgingly and with faith in Lila's abilities as a pilot, Kamille's Mark II boosts in front of the Titans attack formation, ready to engage the AEUG's forces directly.

The Federations defense garrison guarding the satellite defense system find themselves horrendously outmatched against the AEUG's offensive, with Quattro and Roberto destroying over eight Mobile Suits in less than two minutes.

Breaking away from the exploding satellite defense system, Quattro and Roberto circle back towards the Argama's hull to intercept Lila's team, while the Mont Blanc's squadron of GM II's prepare to engage against the Alexadria's forces.

As Kamille pushes forward, he finds the movements of the approaching GM II's to be far more predictable than what he had engaged up until this point. While the Hizacks at his rear move into firing positions, Kamille boosts forward and takes aim below two GM II's, firing a shot through two of their cockpits in a single shot.

Detecting the final garrison signal being lost, Lila signals for her Galbaldy squadron to spread out to fire on the Argama in different positions.

Ramming his Hizack's Heat Hawk into the back of one of the routed GM II's, Kacricon immediately logs the confirmed kill back to the Alexandria to boost his own kill count. Growing increasingly frustrated at his inability to even secure a single kill with his Hizack while the Mark II basks in multiple confirmed destroyed suits, Jerid breaks away from the Titans formation to charge for the Argama personally.

Pushing his Hizack's thrust to maximum, Jerid targets the Argama's bridge with intent to secure total victory for himself.

A damaged AEUG GM II emerges from behind a piece of debris, brandishing its saber to charge at Jerid. Without losing speed or momentum, Jerid chucks his Hizack's Heat Hawk into the GM II's chest, while ripping its beam saber away mid pass.

>Lila: What the hell is that lunatic in the Hizack doing?! Pilot, pull back from there! The AEUG's forces are still concentrated at that ship!

Lila feels a sharp sting her mind, causing her to push one of her allied Galbaldies out of the way as a beam fires out from behind him.

>Lila: That AEUG Gundam is finally here!

Azul's Gundam takes aim for Jerid, anticipating his trajectory and readying a shot to finish him off instantly.

Tossing her Galbaldies shield in front Azul's Gundam, Lila and two of her comrades move to intercept the modified machine. As Azul takes aim however, he feels his senses shifting involuntarily.

Lila's body tenses as she finds herself floating in the void of space, with Azul looking directly at her in the same void. Within her shuttle, Reccoa also feels herself being drawn into this phenomena.

As Kamille crushes the cockpit of the remaining GM II from the Mont Blanc, his own senses shift to the void of space, with his senses being drawn to Reccoa.

Overcome by panic from her thoughts yet again being invaded, Reccoa prepares to launch her shuttle ahead of the original departure schedule. As the shuttle craft scrapes across the side hatch of the Argama, it begins to spin out of control as its auto balancer system attempts a correction. Within the Argama, Emma clutches her forehead as well, the mass connection of psychic energy penetrating her mind as well.

Within the cockpit of Jerid's Hizack, the prideful Titan releases a crazed battlecry as he raises his beam rifle towards the Argama's bridge, readying a shot to sink the vessel.

>Jerid: Go down in flames!!

Clicking his finger to the control sticks firing button, the Hizack's generator malfunctions from being overloaded. Looking to his system readout, Jerid growls in anger as the combination of the beam rifle and beam saber being to much for the Hizack to charge together.

>Jerid: God damn it all! Its right there!!

Feeling a shock in his mind, Jerid tosses his beam rifle forward, with it blocking a shot from Roberto's beam pistol. Snapping out of her own confusion, Lila boosts away from Azul's Gundam, with her now intent on moving Jerid back to safety. Kamille, now having caught a trace of the same woman who had claimed his father life on Green Noa, breaks off from the Titans formation to pursue the shuttle.

Within the cockpit of the Mark II, Kamille feels his emotions bubbling to the surface yet again as his parents final moments bombard his thoughts yet again. Determining he would be able to intercept and destroy the shuttle, Kamille's eyes redden as the intense G-Forces of his movements pin him against his seat.

Within the cockpit of Reccoa's shuttle, the AEUG Ensign yanks at her helmet, her senses collapsing as she feels her deepest shame being forced back to the surface yet again. As she rips her helmet away, Reccoa clasps her own throat as she emulates the powerlessness she had felt years prior, with Kamille's face appearing as one of her violators. Sensing Reccoa's mental anguish and sanity collapse, Azul disengages from engaging the Bosnia's forces, instead boosting towards Reccoa's shuttle to ensure her safety.

As Kamille and Reccoa's thoughts intertwine more, Kamille suffers a moment of raw disgust as he looks upon a vision of himself strangling the AEUG pilot, with her begging to be comforted.

Upon hearing the conformation of a successful target lock, Kamille prepares to fire on the shuttle, only to feel an extreme discomfort crushing against the crotch of his normal suit.

Jamaican is gonna be pissed that we both ignored orders and didn't achieve our main objective, but at least we've not taken any losses (knock on wood) and taken out a bunch of AEUG grunts. Built some respect from our allies with a strong showing.
