Didn't think Zeztz was gonna be a skipper season, I was really hyped with initial leaks and excited as ever for a new season of KR but holy shit those first 5 episodes were mid as fuck. Coming off of Gavv especially, Zeztz just fails to capture me in any significant way. I'd rather take a dumpster fire like Revice or a clusterfuck like Zi-O. Even Wizard, Ghost and Gotchard are "boring" perse, but at least they have awesome unique suit designs and action scenes. Zeztz just has nothing going for it. Worst main suit in the franchise by far also.

I've also seen them bring up comparisons to other shows (especially the Takahashi ones) in terms of how much has happened at this point in the story, like one mentioning Ex-Aid and how by now Graphite had been defeated and Kiriya was killed by Genm. I agree with them too, we still barely know anything about Nightmares and we're still doing Q1 form introductions and guest focuses while Nox is still fucking around. The characters really don't get much development either, they're all kinda just there and I saw a lot of complaints about the last episode where it made them dislike Fujimi for being so apathetic to Baku over Odaka along with Zero even being apathetic to Baku during his breakdown, but at least the latter makes sense. So it does seem to be an actual issue and don't hate the show for it but I have no attachment to any character nor really know what the point of Baku doing anything is or why Nox is being weird about everything.

In her story, Reiyo is playing a college student who aspires to be a pro dancer when her single mother comes to visit.The indie studio previously had Imamori Maya as its spokesperson which had made many believe this role was supposed to be for Maya and not Reiyo.

It's a switch up from the past parters, where most of the focus is on the dreamers and nightmares, figuring out who the dreamer is and what personal hangup is leading to the nightmare, with Nox meddling. Here, the core focus is on Nox and Baku, with the nightmare and dreamer being a side thing. This nightmare is very uninvolved and more of a natural disaster than personal targeted attacks of previous nightmares. There's still emotional beats and an arc to the nightmare case with the kid and all, but the heart of this episode is Baku standing back up after Nox knocked him down.
