I realized my problem with gozyugerIts the dumb fucking NO ones, why do they exist when the universe warriors could serve the same purpose, a large group of AI red warriors with a human host trapped inside all proving to be the best pilot for june. All the plots could be the same and the budget use for the No One monsters could be put somewhere else. Even the universe warriors could still have the AI issue where junes power messed up a core thematic/personality of each universe warrior.

Then for something a little less obvious but there's also the fact they didn't show us any of Ishiro's spy activities or what he was doing while undercover, or how the other boonboomgers know about the plan because in the episode before everyone (except maybe Taiya) legit thought Ishiro betrayed them, so there's a lot of missing context there.There's also that awkward flashback between Grantu Risk and Spindo, there was probably some plans to explore that a bit more originally.

For Sentai's 50th Anniversary + Last Season for the foreseeable future, this was really a low effort show by Toei. Guess everyone was already working on Gavan and they put the b-team on Super Sentai.

>>23669926Anon think about it this way, this is the current producer pool of Toei, they didn't train a producer from another division for a year in Boonboomger unlike Kuji and Yanaka, Kuji was still working on Boonboomger when Gozyuger started pre-production and Takebe was working on Gavv. This means that they pretty much had no choice but to either choose a newbie with no contacts or choose Gotchard's producer Minato to make the 50th anniversary.However what I don't understand is what exactly stops them from doing what they did from Kiramager to Donbrothers where producers that have already been promoted temporarily step down to make shows, it feels weird that the last entry on a 50-year long franchise and the first entry on a new franchise that they desperately want to succeed aren't taking the approach those 3 years took.
