>>23689215You always need to sand anyway, no kind of nippers will perfectly flat surface. Godhands are very sharp and thus cut with minimal or no stress marks left, which speed things up. But since they are so sharp, they are also rather brittle and frequently breaks if you are not careful.Single blade nippers in general are rather useful and greatly speed up build time but you would be fine with other brands for fraction of cost - I guarantee that Mr Hobby ones will last literally forever at the small cost of having to use knife in those few cases where they leave some stress marks (usually they don't).

>>23692004For HGs I tend to assemble before painting, they don't have a lot of parts and tend to be easy to disassemble. Anything with more parts I'll assemble the bare minimum (1 arm, 1 leg, torso and waist frame) and determine what needs to be modified from that. If it's bandai it's only to check for parts rubbing that may later damage the paint. If I feel lazy I'll sand every part and deal with fitting issues after painting
