I just had a thought, is the name Gallus-J possibly a corruption of Gaius J? As in, Gaius Julius Caesar. Certainly fits with the mediterranean theme of a lot of Zeta->ZZ naming.
>>
Any hopes and dreams for Kamille and Sarah's adventure to Granada? I'm personally hoping for a Mezun and Kamille reunion, two schoolmates meeting up and realizing they're now enemies on opposing sides of a war. Mezun has probably had his suspicions though since he saw Kamille entering the Gundam MKII back on Green Noa. While Kamille knows Mezun and the Karate Club had AEUG sympathies but might be surprised that he actually joined the movement.
Anyways the Titan's Black Devil and The Rising Star of the AEUG will probably have some choice words for eachother.

Been around for years, but here. Happy late Hanukkah.

Oy Vey! Thank you!

[Sorry for the delays. There have been some issues at my current workplace that need me to take more overtime, but I plan on getting a good deal of content out tomorrow on my day off]
>>
>>23699609
Mezun is a cool guy but he shouldn't be a serious problem for our Kamille, he has really good stats now.
I just hope Jerid doesn't COMPLETELY ruin things in the short time he has as captain. He's gonna do something rash and stupid, and a few grunts dying is a given. But hopefully he doesn't do anything with really lasting consequences like getting Four killed or crashing the whole ship.
>>
>>23699653
Looking forward to it Copy. Good luck with your work.
>>23699656
Mezun is essentially in the same position Kamille is in. Fighting for position and glory but for the AEUG. I don't think he'd be able to kill or capture Kamille, but Mezun could genuinely mentally mess up him up. Since Kamille even now has trouble keeping his emotions under control.
As for Jerid he doesn't have any grunts to command all the Mobile Suits on the Alexandria are piloted by named characters. The good thing being none of them would listen to Jerid if he wanted to leave or attack something. So the main worry would be the ship being attacked, in which Jerid will need to rally everyone to defend it. With Kamille gone I imagine either Leila or Fa will take command of the Super Gundam, while Four takes a Byarlant for a joyride.
>>
>>23699715
>while Four takes a Byarlant for a joyride.
Meshes very well with her melee focus, I would probably rather have her in that than anything else we've seen so far (maybe Hyaku Shiki is better, idk)
>>
>>23699732
Well the Hyaku Shiki is Jerid's and I don't think he's gonna let anyone touch it. Especially Kamille's left hand four. Jerid also seemed pretty eager to use the Beam Launcher for his Hyaku Shiki. No idea how he got it but he mention he has it. It'll be fun to watch him obliterate AEUG forces with it though.
>>
>>23699617
Kino, thanks
>>
When I attack with both MS and aircraft (two different stacks) at range 1, why does the game prioritize the aircraft - which cannot melee attack - over the MS? Shouldn't the MS be the primary attacker and the aircraft the rear support?
>>
>>23700282
The unit being attacked gets to choose which group it prioritizes, often times picking the aircraft which don't have melee weapons is better for the unit being targeted.
>>
>>23700282
The enemy chooses which one to counter, and that becomes essentially the 'main' battle. They choose the aircraft because they're less likely to die to them.
>>
>>23700292
>>23700294
Ah, I see. So basically my aircraft and tanks without range 2 attacks are pretty much worthless once I have access to MS. Thanks guys.
>>
>>23700305
They're still good, throwing Tanks or Aircraft with mobile suit squads like you were just having problems with lets the Tanks and Aircraft take the entire brunt of the damage while leaving the mobile suits spotless. But since I assume you're playing the EFSF and not like Zeon with Mangella Tanks, Tanks and Planes should basically be phased out entirely once you get the GM Land/Desert which are basically the best grunts the Federation can buy until GM Sniper 2s start showing up.
>>
>>23700305
Not necessarily. You can still use your tanks as part of your other stacks, either in the front row to shield your newer units or the back row to get extra damage from them without getting them killed. Aircraft are still valuable as decoys and walls. Like, if you surrounded a unit with air units that was unable to attack air units, they'd just be stuck, or you can use them to keep the enemy from getting into melee range of your Guntanks.
>>
So I just had something really strange happen to me I stole the schematic for the Full Armor Gundam and then after researching it I got the schematic for the buster launcher version for free how does that work? Like does the game have loadbearing techs that if you steal give you whole tech sequences? Like say I get lucky and steal Sirocco's first mobile suit will I just unlock all of his other suits for free?
>>
>>23701063
Buster launcher is considered alternate loadout by the game. Generally speaking, schematics of alternate loadouts aren't restricted by faction, e.g. as EFSF you will be able to research the Bazooka loadout if you manage to steal 06J's schematic. What you cannot research is the Magella gun loadout unless you also stole and researched Magella Attack.
>Like say I get lucky and steal Sirocco's first mobile suit will I just unlock all of his other suits for free?
You shouldn't be able to, except you can as Principality of Zeon, with the exception of The O which hard requires Scirocco. Menace is quite buggy.
>>
>>23700314
>>23700315
I see, thanks. And yeah, I'm doing an EFSF run on Special difficulty.
>>23701063
>>23701124
This, it's why you can't RMOD it into Heavy Gundam.
>>
>>23701137

I've been getting back into GG but what are the differences between the difficulties? I know Very Easy gives you a bunch of free units (their canon ones in particular) and I vaguely remember the others start you off with varying amounts of resources but I forget if anything else changes. Was Special the one that made everything buildable on one turn at the cost of making them super fragile?
>>
>>23701195
I don't know the specifics but generally higher difficulties give the AI better multipliers on production and stronger starting positions while also reducing the number of grace turns you get before they are allowed to act and generally removing "dick move" restrictions from the AI letting them for example bounce your attacks on territories by sending a bigger army to the territory you're invading from something the AI isn't allowed to do on normal.
>>
>>23701201
Another big example is that on higher difficulties the AI starts getting over tech cannon suits, a great example of this is boot into an AEUG run on the higher difficulties and you'll potentially see Yazan spawn in a Gaplant or Paptimus in a Messala both of which are way too early in the tech tree for that bullshit normally.
>>
>>23701195
>>23701201
>>23701227
Yeah, basically. Special difficulty also doubles resource and money gain/turn, but all units in the game deal double damage while having halved max HP. So this creates a kind of feast or famine element to the game where a big part of succeeding in Special mode is in actually contesting territory to deprive the enemy of crucial resources.
>>
>>23701227

Oh that's actually really interesting. I only started running into the Zeta after building up somewhat so I can see that adding to the dynamic.
>>
>>23701227
>>23701239

Does this effect AI vs AI at all? It's always pretty fun to see the AEUG and Axis throw down at the tail end of Gryps but it takes a real big numbers gap for someone to make a move.
>>
>>23701243
It only affects AI in the sense it alters its perception calculations on resource loss/gain and what to do with units because their stats are different. It basically makes moments when the AI does something retarded extra retarded, and something smart actually really dangerous.
>>
>>23701243
Yeah, on higher difficulties the AI is more aggressive in general and that includes against each other too. In my current Deltaz Fleet run I'm doing I saw the Titans take Luna 2 off of the EFF. Also can I just say fuck the Deltaz Fleet's starting position on higher difficulties did you want to start at a 3-level tech deficit? Did you want to hold off GM Powereds with Zocks and Dom Cannons? No? Too Bad.
>>
>>23701251
Just to add to that btw you don't spawn with either of those researched, you also don't even have Rick Dom 2s for space yet either their start is fucking terrible.
>>
How would you anons rate the special campaigns of menace of axis v? It seems like there's not that many EFF based special campaigns but a lot of Zeon based ones.
>>
>>23701262

They were originally from Blood of Zeon (or perhaps the version before that?) but overall, Casval's Neo Zeon and Garma's New Life Zeon are the funnest ones to play in my eyes.

Truthfully though the most interesting thing about the special campaigns was the animated scenes introducing them. Same with the various Defeat/Victory states for the OYW, something I wish they retained for MoA since it made Part 2 pretty dynamic instead of a straight line.
>>
>>23701262
>Tem Ray's Army
Is really fun because Tem Ray just straight up recovers from fucking brain damage to lead a rebellion to overthrow the government but also crush Axis too.
>>
>>23701262
Kind of weird how the feds have no OYW alt scenarios but Zeon has 3.
>>
>>23701251
The point of Delaz Fleet and to a lesser extent Scirrocco's Titans, is to go into Chaos and drop all the nukes. Scirrocco even rewards you with Haman's recruitment if you nuke Axis first.
>>
>>23701321
Too bad you get a single GP02 on turn 50 and will not have enough enemy tech level to actually make more for a long time.
>>
>>23701327
Zaku IICs are much more cost effective. The turn 50 event for Delaz Fleet is a clue by four telling you to use nukes.
>>
>>23701195
Japanese wiki has a chart showing all the differences on this page.

>>
>>23701227

Jesus Christ you weren't kidding. Started a Hard Axis run and the AEUG just threw a bunch of MK IIs into production while the Titans decided to make Byarlants and multiple Psycho Gundams...
>>
>>23701374
Yeah, the AI can get nasty sometimes when unshackled from its rules of fair play.

>Karaba Commander: The Titans will kill every single one of us who remains. They'll gorge themselves on their scorn and arrogance from our deaths...live and give the next generation their chance to reclaim the future. I implore you...
>Bosch: Colonel Kojima...!

On the border of the Alaskan territories, a massed army of Titan forces wait for Bask Om's command to launch an extermination operation on the survivors of Karaba. Leading the spearhead of the invasion, a corrupt, yet still nervous Titan Commander finds himself concerned by Bask's special orders for the attack.

>Titan Commander:...Everything-
>Bask: Anyone who shows doubt in this operation is to be branded as a Karaba spy. You aren't doubtful of the necessity of this order, are you?
>Titan Commander: N-no sir! It is necessary for our victory!
>Bask: Good to see your resolve...now begin the attack.

As the communication ends, Bask marks the Commander he had spoken to for death following the battles victory.

>Mouar: With all due respect ma'am, my involvement with the Jaburo Newtype labs has no baring on my status as a soldier of the Titans. If you would excuse me-
>Director Robins: Your performance at California was quite admirable. Enough so that I believe you would be more than suitable for the successor program to Jaburo's Newtype program.
>Mouar:...I must decline. As I said before-

>Mouar: Is that a threat, ma'am?
>Director Robins: A friendly warning~. Considering the report you had sent regarding doubts of the Colonel Bask's integrity-
>Mouar: How did you-
>Director Robins: Shhh...all you need to know is that certain eyes that may take issue with your assertions are unaware of your position. Otherwise, they may have already acted against you...there is also the matter of this encounter with "Amuro Ray".
>Mouar: Whatever you want from me, my duty is to the-

>Mouar: Are you mocking me?
>Director Robins: Not at all. If anything, I want to believe your story.

Ending her talks with Mouar, Director Robins looks over distorted footage from an observation pod recording the heinous brutality in Alaska. Already fully aware of the attack being carried out by Bask Om, the dark haired Research Director coldly considers how long she will have to wait until her research can be truly implemented on the War dog of the Titans.

[Mouar is now on a mission and will not sortie until finished]

[EPISODE 14: HEARTBEAT FROM BEYOND]

Having agreed to participate in the plan to extract his design for the "Zeta Gundam" from a private construction facility controlled by the Anaheim Electronics Corporation, Kamille is left in a predicament as he finds himself forced to entrust his vessel, and more importantly, his crew, to Jerid Messa.

>Jerid: You actually intend to just hand the reins over to me without a fight, huh? I would have expected for you to cry to Jamitov or Scirocco for-
>Kamille: Can you tell me with a straight face that you can do this?
>Jerid: What kind of a stupid question is-
>Kamille: Jerid!! As it stands, the crew seems to have faith in you. Enough faith that I want to believe they will be able to follow whatever order you give them...even after what happened to your own ship.
>Jerid:...Is this an order? If so-
>Kamille: Can you do this?

Jerid's smug expression weakens slightly as he sees the genuine desire to see his resolve in Kamille eyes. Letting out a slight scoff, Jerid gives a nod to his rival.

>Jerid: I can more than handle this. Just know by the time you get back from this "special assignment", i'll be the one calling the shots. Just like I should have been before you ran off to claw out your own glory-
>Kamille: I am sorry, alright?
>Jerid:...Go. If you lose Scirocco's pet, that will be on your head.

[Influence with Jerid increased: 0/5]

As Kamille readies himself to depart with Sarah for the Lunar City of Granada, he is suddenly charged by Fa, who wastes no time in sealing herself in an elevator.

>Kamille: Fa, what are you-

Fa quickly smacks her hand against the button for the lowest level of the elevator, intent on keeping Kamille locked with her in isolation as long as possible.

>Fa: All this time...it was you. Are they forcing you to do this?
>Kamille:...Not forced-
>Fa: Y-you can't be doing this of your own decision! You hated the Titans! You always did!

Planting her head against Kamille's chest, Fa whimpers weakly as she gently taps her forehead against Kamille's breast line.

>Fa: My parents, and even our neighbors were taken and...and...!
>Kamille: Fa...I-
>Fa: I was only saved because of Mezun Mex, and the others from school. I was even trying to become a pilot for the AEUG before I was-

>Fa: No. I was taken by Jerid...and he treats me as if I am some kind of mistake that needs to be corrected. He treats me like that...even when I had to listen to him dumping his feelings on! >Fa: I beg of you...lets run away! Escape from all of this! M-Mezun and the others can still-

The door to the elevator opens to Fa's surprise, with Sarah appearing confused by the display of affection being shown to Kamille.

>Sarah:...We really can not have this right now, Commander-

Fa attempts to push Sarah away from the elevator, only to find herself being quickly smacked for the attempt.

>Kamille: Hey!
>Sarah: Just what were you both talking about, exactly?
>Fa: Y-you just hit-

It's time to Gaslight her I think, we are not freeing her for the titans for her to run off to the AEUG for starters, bringing her along sounds like an awful idea and a good way to cause confusion, the second choice would be my second pick but i feel like that'd have the least impact of getting what I want out of the two so...
>>
>>23701737
>bring Fa with us
She’ll rat us out instantly. Bad idea.
>promise to free Fa
Does she exactly have anywhere to go though, other than straight to the AEUG?
>bear with Jerid
I feel like she’ll snap and try to sabotage whatever he gets up to at a pivotal moment.

I think the best bet is to “gaslight her” although I prefer it be genuine convincing. That the Titans do have decent people in their ranks, that the AEUG started the war by attacking Green Noa. That the Titans have an issue with horrible leaders, an issue that can get better if Kamille keeps climbing the ranks. Something like that.

Thoughts anons?
>>
>>23701737
>promise to release her
sarah tells scirocco we are not fully onboard, we probably wont even get a chance to do it
>tell her to bare jerid
she continues tardwrangling, will probably go insane and fuck our blond stud
>bring her along
0 IQ option that gets us caught and most likely guarantees the AEUG gets the zeta
>gaslight her
we become scirocco
>>
I mean, Jerid IS kinda helping her. If not for him she'd be dead by now, executed by the titans for being an aeug sympathizer/pilot. Better occasionally slapped around than a bullet in the head, right? Also, poor jerid. Let's never abandon our bro again, no matter what
>>
>>23701763
That's not even wrong, It's just I know for a fact that trying to play nice with Fa now of all times is a trap, like Fa your having a mental meltdown and are getting in the way of Kamille getting HIS Zeta, You tried to push Sarah and she rightfully slapped you, and now your crying about it?
Woman if this is too much for you then you ain't going to like what the AEUG are going to turn into.
>>
>>23701737
[Gaslight her] is hilarious
Anyway
>Promise to release her
Jerid gets pissed we just kicked out his waifu without even talking to him about it and Fa probably joins back up with AEUG before long. This would be the best thing for her, except that she ends up joining the losing side of a war and probably dies.
>Tell her to bear with Jerid
Lose Fa influence and Jerid probably won't accept whatever we say to him anyway since we don't have any influence with him right now. This is an attempt to keep the status quo where Fa is unhappy but feels trapped with Jerid since he probably won't release her.
>Bring Fa
Just guarantees she ends up running back to Mezun and possibly compromising the mission
>Gaslight her into staying with Jerid
I mean, if we are successful then I guess this keeps everything under control, and Fa will be feeling very confused about what's right and wrong at the moment. It's kind of accepting the cuck chair but idk if we can avoid that and keep Fa around and satisfied. Potentially, AEUG's links to Zeon could be quite convincing here, but Kamille doesn't know much about that.
My gut is to gaslight honestly just because everything else feels like it definitely won't work
>>
>>23701767
we can think about fucking Fa later, we aren't short on women, so it's better to assume she's off the table or at the very least she's a low priority compared to what we actually need to focus on, total AEUG death and the Zeta gundam, and she's currently getting in the way of both.

>GASLIGHT HER
Can Kamille slightly pinch her to bend her will or something? A next level scirocco play, he'd surely be proud
>>
Gaslight is the fast and easy option, but based on nothing I feel it'll turn her into a psycho ride or die Jerid sycophant.
Bear just feels like a less evil version of Gaslight, where if we really get in well with Jerid, it'll probably solve itself with relatively little incident. And if she doesn't snap first, we could possibly get Fa to blow off some steam by becoming a pilot but not one that's attached to Jerid at the hip just in case.
>>
Fa is desperately clinging to kamille, the only person she knows from before her life turned upside down, but will she really be swayed by his words? Some of the aeug might be as bloodthirsty as the titans, but her parents are fucking dead. Her reasons for joining the aeug are just as valid
>>
I'm voting to bring her but I fully accept this is terrible to do. I think all these options are terrible.
>>
>>23701737
>Gaslight her
I have to help out my boy Jerid.
>>
>>23701737
>Bring Fa
Worst option, honestly. She'll ruin the mission, compromise our rep - giving Bask the ammo he needs if word gets back to him about it - and Jerid will blame us for fucking everything up
>Promise to free Fa
Will gain Fa rep, but realistically, we're not going to do it. Acting on this will put as at odds with Jerid and is basically just lip service. If she does escape, she'll go straight to the AEUG.
>bear with Jerid
Keeps the status quo.
>Gaslight
Will probably set her down the Jerid route. May gain rep with Jerid later, may gain rep with Fa now. Probably the best option available based on what we've done with Kamille so far, and what we intend to do with him in the future.
Which way, space man?
>>
>>23701737
Time for Kamille to live up to his name and girl boss, gaslight, gatekeep.
>>
>>23701737
>/m/ is willing to cuckold Kamille with Fa after all and leave him alone with those empty husks as love interests
I can't do that to Fa. The best thing is to offer to help her abandon all struggle. We would have to kill Mezun to guarantee that she wouldn't bounce back to the AEUG, but gaslighting her wouldn't work for us. We don't have the experience. We never tried to turn Leila into a weapon or “show Four the reality of war.” If we didn't want to manipulate those broken mirrors, we wouldn't do anything to the only friend who is fully aware of her situation.
>>
>>23701926
i went with "Ask Fa to tolerate Jerid until he can return to talk with him. " because I feel Fa would respect Kamille helping make the situation better, at least. I feel it's the best possible option.
>>
>>23701926
It is insane that there's so much support for [Gaslight her] when we have spent most of our run being practical instead of comically evil. It feels like a lot of people here want to play as Jerid instead of Kamille and dropped their pretense when we were back to space.
>>
>>23701928
And we still think we can talk to Jerid as equals. Fa surely won't understand why we let that jerk boss her around like that any longer. The humiliation for both of us will only get worse when we realize that we allowed Jerid to grab us by the balls in this situation.
>>
>>23701935
Is it worse than potentially undermining him with agreeing to free her? As well as the fact that the gaslight can very well backfire in a myriad of ways. I don't trust it. Bearing with Jerid isn't the best but I feel it's the most "Kamille" answer so far and even if we can't speak to Jerid as equals we might as well try rather than give up immediately.

>Undermining him
More than we have allowed him to undermine us? Jerid doesn't need Fa, he feels nothing for her, she has been able to see through his mask all this time. With Fa out of the picture, he will just look for another woman to cling to emotionally and go back to being the same. It would also be a power move, exposing Jerid's instability and unreliability to our crew and allowing us to regain some control over this ship.

It astounds me you witness Jerid and Kamille reach a understanding regarding the ship and you still immediately want to spit on him and plot his downfall, I’m all for knocking his ego down a peg, but a comrade jerid is far more useful than a hostile one
>>
>>23701957
We have to face this head-on and be proactive, find a definitive solution. Kamille understands Fa, he misses seeing her in the ranks of the Titans and knows that she is not there of her own free will. Their paths and goals are at odds despite a similar starting point, and they are about to lose their friendship if certain decisions prove successful. In the series, Kamille never agreed with Fa participating in a war. He always tried to protect her and keep her away from the battlefield. It wasn't until he himself saw her potential as a pilot that he finally decided to accept it in part, which hasn't happened yet, and she seems conflicted. Here we can play our card and have our will obeyed. She may finally think that she has no place in this man's world and step down once and for all to live a normal life with the possibility of reuniting with us in peaceful times.
>>
>>23701976
It is not worth his time trying to fight over freeing Fa, she already admitted that she was trying to be a pilot for AEUG, you’ll be delusional if you think she won’t be trying to ‘free’ Kamille by taking up arms and instead just quietly disappear, I stand by the two scenarios of having him either talk to Jerid later or gaslight her.

We’re not Zeta Kamille and we really shouldn’t be distracting ourselves when we should be focused here, all this option does is vote to show how easily Kamille’s mind can be wavered and you’re falling right into its lap
>>
>>23701966
I see lending our ship solely as a necessary concession for the moment, not because I want his friendship, but because we were in a coma for three days, and that was seen as a sign of weakness and abandonment of our duties by the rest of our crew. The playing field is not level yet, and distancing Fa from Jerid is one of the things we need to do to assert dominance and our authority.
>>
>>23701984
Fighting over Fa provides nothing but trying to start another petty argument, if you really want Kamille to have dominance and influence then you should be trying to fish attention from people that matter(the actual aces), who mind you with that last vote now everyone either tolerates/neutral to Kamille or likes him, it is the most ideal scenario
>>
It feels like half the people that wanted us to go to space for Jerid actually wanted it to fuck with him, not to mend our relationship.
>>
>>23701983
Our relationship with Fa hasn't changed much since we left Green Noa in the first episode. Her will to fight is about to be broken, it's totally within reach. Fa never demonstrated her Newtype abilities that made her a viable candidate. They put her to work cleaning the AEUG barracks, Mezun never let her touch an MS, on top of that they kidnapped her and she's now at the service of a scoundrel with an infinite thirst for ambition who has only managed to kill anyone who was on his side. Reasons enough to leave this ridiculous fight. Anyway, I've always seen Fa as the Fraw of Zeta rather than someone like Sayla.
>>
>>23701997
What are you talking about? You let her go and she’s just going to try to take Kamille with her, stop being distracted
>>
>>23701992
There’s too many people who can’t seem to deal with being seen as the bad guys and try to keep the ‘good guy’ characters happy
>>
>>23701987
The aces' opinion:
>Sarah, who only protects him on Scirocco's orders and would appreciate it if he would shut up and stop being so impulsive.
>Sydle, who was more on Gady's side.
>Four, who wanted a brawl to release tension.
>Leila, who wants to bring out the worst in everyone for her own reasons.
>>
>>23701957
I mean yeah, that's why I voted to talk to Jerid. I feel gaslight gatekeep girlbossing Fa is a bad idea because even pragmatically we don't know if it'd work. At worst we could have Fa call Kamille out on his bullshit and make everything worse whereas attempting to talk to Jerid placates Fa a bit and we can potentially get more relationship points with Jerid if we talk to him respectfully (even if I know this is a bit of a reach.) I don't think telling Fa what she wants to hear (escape/bring with) is a good option but I don't think we should plunge into the gaslighting hole as soon as we can when Kamille this run has been nothing but incredibly straightforward and pragmatic. I don't think Kamille would in character sabotage his chances in the Titans for Fa but I don't think he'd gaslight his childhood friend either especially since we still haven't gaslit that leech Leila. But yeah the only real options are Gaslight or Talk with, I agree.
>>
>>23702000
Kamille isn't going to follow her. There's no reason to think so, at least until all this is over. We're getting closer and closer to carrying out our revenge, while hers against the Titans isn't going to happen because we're going to stop her from going against our interests. In her current situation, we can make her give up her pursuit.
>>
>>23702019
>>Fa: I beg of you...lets run away! Escape from all of this! M-Mezun and the others can still-

You’re not even paying attention to her tantrum, she’s not begging him for her freedom, she wants Kamille too because she thinks we’re in the same boat

>>23702009
I care not for what you think of them
Sarah is the only one who we don’t know our influence on, which is likely what this vote is for
Sydle leans towards Kamille because of the Gady vote showing his strategic side
Four favors Kamille and looks forward to being praised by him
Leila is bonded with Kamille
Jerid is now neutral to Kamille

At the pace we are going we will literally be in good standing with the majority of our own personal current detachment.
>>
>>23702025
Yeah she clearly thinks that we aren't willingly in the Titans, when we are, there is a giant misunderstanding here and she isn't really giving us the option to explain this to her in a civil manner, and I really don't want her to interfere with us getting the Zeta, we gave Jerid control of the ship so WE could get the Zeta, not so Fa can fuck everything up and have her give it to Mezun instead.
Eye on the prize.
>>
>>23702025
We're going to kill Mezun and the others. There will be nowhere for Fa to return to. You think we would be persuaded by those words to switch sides, or that Fa has power over us beyond the empathy we feel for finding a friend in a war.
The reactive element is Jerid. No one is really on his side except for the bridge crew and the lower ranks because they find him charismatic. Jerid's mental instability becomes evident, and everyone begins to turn against him. Here we have to remind them who the real commander is and how things work when we are the captain of this ship.
>>
>>23702032
Sarah made it clear she’s not a fan of wasting time with this, so that’s already one person we know for sure alongside jerid who likely won’t be a fan, all you’re really doing is trying to use fa to fight with jerid again
>>
>>23702032
You're fucking delusional, anon.
>>
>>23702034
Also Sarah doesn’t like Fa either
>>
>>23702035
To be delusional is to think that Fa can be handed over to Kamille after we polish his boots with our tongue or to tell Fa that Jerid's manipulation is actually good for her and try to convince her the AEUG is the devil.
>>
>>23701737
Went with tolerate Jerid. Jerid needs a woman who he can spill his emotions too but won't president dive for him. Mezun and the boys are gas happy so Fa might be shocked to see what they have become if she went back. We will kill Bask Om and his loyalist soon since he is becoming a thorn in our side. So we would be avenging her parent in a way. Maybe we will be able to take Fa on the assassinate Bask mission. Though not sure how she would feel about it.

>>23702002
Nah some people take offense to characters that don't immediately like them. People on m/ struggle with characters that are unfriendly to the player character and require building a proper relationship to befriend.
>>
>>23702034
>>23702039
She may not like the approach, but if it makes Jerid more compliant with her master's plans, then it's worth it. Fa wouldn't stay around long enough to bother her with his submissive and servile personality.
>>
>>23702043
The issue is that planning to free her or bring her along is completely 100% genuine on Kamille's end. The most consistent rule of these games is you are picking what the character ACTUALLY wants and you are not only going for an option that would fundamentally change Kamille into undermining the Titans, but also for a potential multi part Keikaku that can be derailed at any particular moment. It is absolutely delusional and psychotic to think that it wouldn't be genuine on Kamille's part when every run has made these choices genuine, but also to make a multi part plan to undermine Jerid. You are essentially just pulling a Jerid and making this big scheme that will blow up in all of our faces because you don't like a character.
>>
>>23702047
You think pissing jerid off trying to be a paragon because Fa wants to run off with Kamille is going to help scirocco’s plan in anyway? If he wanted her gone he would have released her himself
>>
>>23702050
It's just Leila fuming at Jerid again.
>>
>>23702048
How much has Kamille changed for you that such a choice invalidates his growth within the campaign? For me, it is indeed the most Kamille thing to do, and we have the means to carry it out. We are not undermining the Titans because we would be getting an AEUG fighter to leave the fight for her own good. How we handle the theft of the Zeta Gundam will irrevocably define the course of the narrative, and I bet we will have to face its pilot to win it over, and Jerid's painful reaction is more than expected from this outcome.
>>23702050
Because in his frustration, he will attempt to find ways to defeat us for this humiliation and will increasingly fall under Scirocco's influence, as he is the only one who has shown mercy when Jamitov sought his arrest or his head. Scirocco has done nothing with Fa because he ignores her whole presence.
>>
>>23702072
You're delusional for thinking that /m/ can follow a plan for more than two seconds and that Kamille won't just actually try to free Fa and go with her plans is what I'm getting at. It's no different from the anons that got Blex killed in Gray AEUG so they can be Char. Even if it does work out somehow, what next? You still have to cooperate with fifty something anons to get a plan off the ground that neither Sarah nor Jerid want and those anons think your plans aren't good to begin with. It's just a terrible plan to begin with because it relies heavily on "Ifs" rather than the straightforwardness of what we've been doing this whole run.
>>
[bear with jerid] won by 2 votes, dammit [gaslight] bros, we were so close...
>>
>>23702101
I’m fine with either, just not with trying to “”save”” her or drag her along with us on a very important plan
>>
>>23702081
>>23702101
Oh well, I hope /m/ can commit to being best bros with Jerid from now on and not chicken out and letting him being castrated. Only three people wanted to ditch him, which is pretty surprising.
>>
>>23702113
im pretty sure it is just three people REALLY vocal about wanting to trap and betray jerid
>>
>>23702101
as the other dude side I'm fine with either one of those two choices winning, I just don't want Fa to get in the way of our Zeta gundam, Jerid drama is small potatoes compared to getting our baby.
>>
>>23702114
I really don't see a future in building a relationship where we don't keep a tight grip on someone like him. But this was the final shot at it and I won't try to thwart it.
>>
>>23701737
A thing about Fa that no one is talking about is that she literally has no context for what's happened to Kamille. Nor does she understand what position he has as the Black Devil.

Fa was disallowed by Mezun to join the armed forces and was instead put to work in a kitchen. Then she was kidnappedm. Fa probably has no idea that a Black Gundam annihilated Karaba or that Kamille is a commander. Or if she does she's completely in denial about it. Thinking that both her and Kamille have been forced into the Titans, when in reality Kamille is doing this completely willingly.

That's not even mentioning Kamille's relationship with Leila and Four. Fa has literally no clue that Kamille found two women and connected with them while he was away. So when that comes up Fa is going to be absolutely shocked and confused. Kamille and his girls sleeping for three days really made us miss out on character moments.
>>
>>23702101
Gaslight was a high risk option but I did vote for it
Bear with Jerid feels like a nothingburger because Fa will probably just dislike us a bit and will still resent Jerid. At least it shouldn't drastically change anything for the worse.
>>
>>23702131
That was probably never viable and it definitely wasn't viable after ditching him to go to Earth and he started this king of the moon stuff
This Jerid is not just going to politely do as he is told even if Kamille proves beyond any doubt he's the superior pilot. That's literally just canon Jerid coming through in a slightly different form.
>>
Damn it I was one movement off of just deleting their entire counterattack army. There's like 40 fucking units there.
>>
>>23702197

What's up with the top left node? Did California belong to someone else?
>>
>>23702196
>>23702131
If you want jerid to listen to you then you need him to at least give a fuck about you which means comradely, honestly anyone who thinks you can just yell and beat jerid into submission doesn’t understand the character and what he responds positively to, notice how Kamille TRUSTING Jerid with the ship and having faith in him is what turned their relationship around not giving him a order and telling him.
>>
>>23702198
The Titans had a failed attempt at taking California, I attacked in the middle of their attack to take advantage of the opportunity, when they were routed the one node they had turned neutral.
>>
>>23702101
>Bear with Jerid
Was the most boring option possible but I'll take it over the other two that didn't get any support. Gaslighting was the most interesting and potentially the most beneficial.
>>
>>23702194
I voted for manipulating but yeah, she could've flipped out, hearing kamille using titans talking points might've been a breaking point. Nothing makes sense for that poor girl.
But Jerid actually helping her is still true
>>
>>23702199
Second anon here, you don't seem to understand after all this discussion that promising Fa her freedom will affect negatively Jerid and make him an emotional mess, where we step in and take absolute control again.
Talking nice to him was never an option to me and neither wanted him to be more than just a pilot.
>>
>>23702218
I don’t give a fuck about Fa’s freedom because trying to pursue it is a waste of time that only divides our forces.

I do question the logic of people trying to use force to “correct” jerid as if that has ever helped, Jerid at his best in these runs is always to people who he considers to have done well by him
>>
>>23702199
Trusting Jerid with the ship was obviously what we had to do to make him like us more
The problem is, it requires us to trust Jerid. A man who has no business running a ship. Especially OUR ship.
Basically, we need to hope that some of Kamille's sincerity here really got to him and will make him feel the weight of responsibility. If he just goes full Leeroy Jenkins into Von Braun (which we know is just the AI being the AI) then that is gonna suck.
Almost any loss is worth it to get the Zeta. That's what this whole part of the story is about and we can't lose focus from it.
>>
>>23702101
With this desicion Kamille could've been like Sciroppo, yet you guys decide to imitate Franklin.
What a shame.
>>
>>23702228
I know people have assumed Jerid is under AI control but didn’t the last thing it said for jerid was that he was under our control temporarily? Has that even been lifted yet or were these votes like a check to see if that would last?
>>
>>23702232

Copy would have to confirm or deny on how directly Jerid is under his (Copy) at this point. It's sorta tough to tell at times because after Kamille lost the Hizack team, we never had a hard number on who were in his forces beyond Leila, Four and the Melord itself.

That said, Jerid has also been given control of the ship itself so he may well be AI controlled again though I hope not.
>>
>>23702231
Depends on how good you think Fa's bullshit-o-meter is. I think it's gotten very good because she's able to tell Jerid is a fucking wreck.
>I have to shoulder his insecurities, and he continues to act like I am the one who needs help!
At this point, I think she's gotten enough experience from Jerid's trauma dumps to qualify as a therapist.
>>
>>23702221
There has been a subset of us who, for some reason, really want to LARP as Jamaican with psychic powers. They are also bizarrely the ones who want to add every single woman in the series to their harem.
>>
>>23702318
I think Four had a genuine point point about men learning about each other with their fists. Or I'm just a simp.

Jamacain still pales in comparison to some other choices. Force pills down Leila's throat? Iron Mask levels of personnel management.

Too be fair we have been on earth the entire time, we had literally no way of interacting with Fa before now. Additionally Fa herself has just come to us for protection from jerid who has basically just kidnapped her, why would we ever want to set them up? I don’t want to romance Fa but she is kamilles childhood friend, why would he want to force her together with a guy she just told us she doesn’t like, who is a loose cannon and an asshole?
>>
>>23702384

I've said my stance on it time and time again, I'm not even remotely considering Fa as a person right now because she is getting in the way of our Zeta and will fuck it up for sure if we treat her with kids gloves.
None of this is about scoring points with Jerid, no true /m/an would disregard mecha to acquire bitches.
>>
>>23702339

Correct, they are only like this because they don't want Jerid to win at anything, like when they tried to sabotage the last vote

>Tried to sabotage
We are going for the Zeta regardless what happened here today, that was the previous poll to this one nigga

Slowly pulling Fa away from his body, Fa gives her childhood friend a quivering expression, her eyes flickering with concern.

>Kamille: I need you to listen, Fa. There is something very important that I need to take care of...and until it is finished, I want you to bear with Jerid just a little longer-
>Fa: You don't know what it is like! Kamille, what can be more important than-
>Kamille: I'll talk to him when we get back from-
>Fa: Talk to him?! Why would he ever listen to you?! He hates you! He hates you so much that-

Seeing the emblem of Kamilles rank as a Commander, Fa pushes herself away from Kamille, her thoughts melting into a mix of panic and confusion.

>Fa: Jerid killed so many of our friends from Green Noa...and yet you are a higher rank than he is?! What did you do to get that position?!
>Kamille: Damn it Fa, stop it-
>Fa: Those girls that were with you...are they just bonus's that come with being a murderer-

Kamille swings his palm against Fa's cheek, throwing her to the ground from the force placed into the blow.

>Kamille: Don't you dare judge me for this, Fa! I have every reason to do this! Leila and Four have helped me more than I can-

Seeing the imprint of his hand against Fa's cheek, Kamille feels an intense sense of self loathing for losing control over himself. Despite being slightly smaller than Fa, Sarah easily lifts the young woman to her feet, pushing her away from the elevator.

>Sarah: Ice it and make yourself useful to Jerid. Do that, and you might have a chance to be free from him.

Entering into the elevator alongside Kamille, Sarah seals the doors to descend for the primary hangar.

>Kamille: Why did I...hit her...?!
>Sarah:...You shouldn't cry. Especially when you did nothing wrong. If you can get her away from Jerid after this operation ends, it would be best for everyone.

[Influence with Fa decreased: -2/5]
[Influence with Sarah increased: 1/5]

>>23702521
>[Influence with Fa decreased: -2/5]
Holy shit we should've gaslight the bitch good god. At least then Kamille wouldn't have smacked her to the damn ground.
>>
>>23702521
So I'm perfectly fine with this result because Fuck Fa for getting in the way of our Zeta, but I'm shocked this was the more aggressively hostile action, Perhaps my Gaslighting pitch would've been better?
Oh well see ya bitch lmao.
>>
>>23702530

if it's one thing Kamille has never stood for this run is people insulting the folks under him so I'm not shocked once she started going after his team

Oh yeah it makes perfect sense, it's just funny how you know this option was picked out of a misguided sense to not be as mean to Fa, but still say no to her.

>>
>>23702539
Thing is, she didn't want someone to be 'nice' to her, she wanted a way out of her nightmare. She really thought kamille, her friend who no doubt would stand up for her, would be her saviour, instead he just ignored her. No explanations given, nothing, just 'fuck off for a moment imma get the zeta real quick'
>>
>>23702521
I told you niggers over and over again and you didn't listen because you're SIMPS and can't READ
>>
>>23702549
I'm actually perfectly happy with this. I said before that in character we didn't gaslight that leech Leila and that Kamille is pragmatic but not brainwashing happy. I don't really care if Fa hates us now, we picked the most in character option the whole run. Kamille wouldn't have brainwashed his childhood friend since he didn't brainwash Leila, but him tarding out is perfectly in character and I couldn't be happier with my choices.
>>
>>23702539
The problem is that as usual maybe half of the people who voted at best actually understood what this decision was going to be about.
You either:
>Sacrifice Fa in some capacity for your goals and relationships with other people
or
>Throw away your goals and relationships with other people for Fa
With each choice falling into a gradient of better or worse for those two cats. I said it before, but gaslighting was the best outcome for her for a Kamille who still wants to achieve his goals because it actually would have made her happy with her lot in life. It also wouldn't have even been a lie - Jerid may be fucked in the head, but in his own way, he really has tried his best to take care of and look after Fa when he not only did not need to, but it was detrimental to him to do so and actively threatened both his life and position in the Titans.
I also feel like many anons, somehow, don't really get Jerid as he's been written in this run.
>>
>>23702549
I'm pretty sure her bullshit meter would have picked up the gaslighting. The question is, how much would she want to believe in it.
>>
I get that bothdecisions ultimately lead to having fa fuck off for the moment, but one was breaking to her that the aeug are not the 'good guys' and that jerid is not that bad and the other was just to ignore her, and after she waited an extra 3 days for kamille to wake up.
Not saying that [gaslight] was flawless, but you tell me which one is the 'nice' option

Readied for the infiltration mission, Kamille makes one final visit to the infirmary to check on Leila and Four. Having awoken from her own slumber, Four appears bothered as she paces around Leila's bed, much to the irritation of the medical staff tending to Leila's body.

>Medical Officer: Ah, Commander Bidan! Can you please request the Ensign to return to her quarters or at least remain still in her bed?
>Four: No! I want to talk to her! The real her this time!
>Kamille: You both can talk once she wakes up properly. Huh...?

Noticing a life support device attached to Leila's mouth, a pang of serious concern comes over Kamille.

>Kamille: What is this?! Why is that on-
>Medical Officer: Her blood flow was being regulated by implants in her heart. After that seizure, her body isn't able to regulate itself properly.
>Kamille: Can you fix it?!
>Medical Officer: She needs a blood donation. Unfortunately, we don't have any compatible blood in our supply to stabilize her currently. For the time being, we are keeping her stable until a proper donor can be found-
>Kamille: If she needs blood, then just take it from me!
>Medical Officer: We already compared your medical records with the rest of the crew. Nobody else has the type we need...with that said, we are going to try to run a physical on the survivors from Lieutenant Messa's crew. With any luck, one of them may have what we need.

While feeling a deep concern for Leila, Kamille for the first time since their moment of passion together just sees the sleeping young woman as just another person, not a direct part of himself. While a certain sense of loneliness comes with these emotions, Kamille also feels as if a weight has been partially lifted.

[Leila is still in a catatonic shock and can not pilot for now]

Departing for Granada with Sarah, Kamille thinks back to the look of despair and betrayal on Fa's face from being struck, along with the mention of Mezun Mex being his enemy...

On the one hand, it's annoying when people just decide to make retarded decisions for no reason (oh you're concerned about being here and stuck with Jerid? well, too bad, bye!), but that's also a big part of what makes these fun.
Plus it's just Fa anyways. I don't even care if our influence with her reaches -10/5.

>>23702552
Titans Kamille is not AEUG Kamille. We are guiding a guy who joined the Titans, has lost many people important to him to the AEUG, and near-singlehandedly wiped Karaba off the face of the Earth. It would make perfect sense for him to try to convince her that the Titans are right and the AEUG wrong.
>>

Uhh, good news?
>>
>>23702560
We're free from the demon, we did it bros.
>>
>>23702552
(Me) but also I feel like gaining influence with Sarah will be better long term. Fa is someone who HATES the Titans and is clearly unhappy with how we are conducting things while Sarah will be someone we are actively working with as someone in Paptimus's good graces. I'd rather be on good terms with his weirdo harem than someone who is against everything we stand for. It's in character and is pragmatically the thing I far prefer, so I'm quite happy with this decision overall. Besides that I'd rather have a bad outcome thats in character than act OOC on someone who hasn't been manipulative the whole run just to be nice to someone who'd be against us either way.
>>
>>23702557
You are completely tone deaf to the situation. She was begging Kamille for an out - any out. I also blame Copy X for calling the option what he did most likely to bait people (and because it was funny), but convincing her that Jerid was trying to help her and that the AEUG are the bad guys and that what she really needs to do is re-evaluate her outlook to improve her own situation was a valid out she would have happily taken.
>>
>Jerid Derangement Syndrome
>>
>>23702567
I'll give you that. Regardless if i believe the [gaslighting] to be the truth, kamille does not. He might be forceful and self-righteous, but not manipulative.
Or rather he'll never be manipulative if we keep up like this, oh well.
>>
>>23702573
Hey, the people around jerid in the series end up liking him, he's charismatic. They also end up dead.
>>
>>23702563
But would he do it with a manipulative tone? He refused to treat people like Leila and Four, people who are lab puppets as puppets and treated them consistently as people. We didn't even force Four to kill a potential adversary. It just doesn't feel right for Kamille as a character, how we played him to suddenly 180 and treat someone who he's known for FAR longer with a manipulative intent. The gaslighting implies Kamille's fully aware he's manipulating Fa and not just saying it. Again, I'm happy with less Fa points and more Sarah points but even aside from the possibility the gaslighting wouldn't have worked because we've been playing an incredibly straightforward autist I just don't see why anons are suddenly screaming over a relatively bad outcome that isn't catastrophic.
>>
>>23702557
the reason fa is having a nervous breakdown is because she's having to reconcile her current life and social circle with the image of green noah being destroyed and coping about her time in the aeug while trying her hardest to reject the reality of the aeug's own terrorism and evils.
anyone who voted for this basically voted to ignore her after ignoring her to go have an autism episode with our harem after ignoring her all run up to that point so i dont know why so many are acting shocked at the outcome
>>
>>23702573
Can we replace Kamille with Jerid ad the main character?
>>
>>23702580
>But would he manipulate??
Yes? Are you stupid? Just because he didn't use pills to control his harem doesn't mean he hasn't manipulated them. There's a difference between treating someone like a tool and treating them like a person while still manipulating them to your benefit. Scirocco doesn't treat his women like tools, but he does manipulate them. Kamille isn't as bad as Scirocco but he is effectively the same way and has been characterized as such throughout this run.
Jesus Christ I feel like I'm going insane.
>>
>>23702560
I've been thinking, what if Fa is the only person aboard the ship with compatible blood? Now that would be a real fun outcome
>>
>>23702586
But she's le canon gf you guys, be nice to her :(
>>
>>23702586
Fair enough, but I still think it's more in character for Kamille to go into an autistic rage and slap Fa than for him to act like Scirocco and it's a funnier mental image
>>
>>23702580
Maybe it wouldn't have worked - what we did instead also didn't work. If it had worked, it would have been best for everybody.
>>
>>23702592
I don't like things working for everyone though. I like playing a consistent character and if shit hits the fan because I made a bad decision in character then I find that perfectly fine.
>>
>>23702583
That'd be a fun idea for the next run
>>
>>23702593
>I don't like things working for everyone though
So you just make bad decisions for the laughs. Disappointing but understandable I guess.
>>
>>23702586
Kamille didn’t intentionally manipulate Four and Leila, he confided in Leila in a moment of weakness which led to their bond, you could argue it all began with him telling her he needed her help, but that was honestly just true in the moment because it was active combat

With four he hasn’t really done much to control her
>>
>>23702593
Kamille in the series objected to fa becoming a pilot, he wanted her out of harms way and was (maybe) kind of possessive. Telling her to knock it off and forget the escape thing doesn't seem out of line
>>
>>23702549
I'm fine with the results i just didn't want Kamille to brainwash/manipulate Fa with Gaslighting. Depending on future votes we could always have her bounce back like when we pissed off Jerid but had him warm up to us before abandoning him to Jamaican.
>>
>>23702596
I just prefer a satisfying consistent character over 180ing constantly for the "best outcome." Yeah sure we lost all respect from Fa, but these runs always have some sort of sacrifice. We still got points with someone who's genuinely aligned with us who is a woman that Scirocco in canon in some capacity cares for because he freaked out over her death in the final act. Gaslighting could have made us lose respect with Sarah because she's projecting her situation with Scirocco onto the two, who knows! Shit happens, and I'd rather an imperfect bad outcome and a satisfying narrative over trying to manipulate a good outcome and ending up with a Gray AEUG tier shitshow because anons can't plan.

I don't see what's satisfying about intentionally picking bad options, but you do you.
>>
>>23702570
I voted for gaslight, actually, but I can see the point made by 'tell her.'

It's written as gaslight for a reason - Kamille himself doesn't believe the words coming out of his mouth. Fa would have immediately picked it up as bullshit, otherwise, I would have called out Copy X for that, no matter how good the results were.

The question would be if she would call us out on it like the current vote or go for yandere "Kamille is brainwashed by Cyber-Pussy", like I was expecting.
>>
>>23702601
>waifufag simp would rather us act completely retarded than do something le immoral (but only because it was worded in a way that touched my wires despite the fact we've gaslit people tons before this)

>>
>>23702608
what would have actually happened is that Fa would have accepted it and Kamille would have successfully manipulated her
Kamille doesn't have to lie to her to manipulate her, and everything described as what he would say was truthful. It's just that he would be doing it to manipulate her; without having the full text intended shown to us we can only speculate but most likely Kamille would be manipulating her both for his sake and hers, which is something he has done repeatedly already it's just that this time the scary g word was used which turned the waifuniggers feral
>>
>>23702606
I'm not intentionally picking the worst possible options. I'm picking options that, if flawed, are the most "in character" in my personal opinion after gauging the situation and seeing what /m/s second opinions are. I don't see Fa's relationship with us as that big a deal either. I'm perfectly happy with taking the Sarah points and moving on.
>>
This run manages to have the most nothingburger outcomes from votes but still causes so much butthurt in the thread.
>>
>>23702609
I've voted consistently. I try to keep Kamille from going off into the deep end but still focused on his revenge. While also trying to form interesting relationships with the characters around him rather than turning them into mind slaves.
>>
>>23702606
Well you see, I speedread all the posts and pick the most dramatic options because I think actually succeeding is boring
>>
>>23702620
The problem, if you pay attention to what gets said, isn't the outcome we get but the outcome we could've had if half of the people in the thread didn't eat glue.

While Kamille's Alexandria remains in the orbit above Von Braun City, the young Newtype Commander and Sarah both infiltrate Granada under the guise of being representatives of a "sponsor" for special technologies being utilized by Anaheim, along with Sarah's already established identity as an informant who had assisted in the suppression of Ayers City. While waiting for the appointed gathering outside of Anaheim's Headquarters, Kamille purchases himself and Sarah an ice cream cone.

>Kamille: Take it.
>Sarah: I must decline. Even if your body is able to handle it, even a single mistake would degrade my figure-
>Kamille: Your practically still a kid. One of these isn't going to kill you.
>Sarah:...Ugh, if you insist.

Taking the ice cream from Kamille, Sarah gives a small pout as she extends her tongue to lick against the outer rim of the sweet treat. Unused to such sweet pleasures, Sarah can't help but let out of a delighted squeak from her throat as she goes in to brush her tongue against it again.

>Kamille:...Is this seriously your first time having something like this?
>Sarah: It...has been some time. The facility I was trained at prioritized maximizing my physical and mental potential. Things like this were just...unnecessary.
>Kamille:...I am surprised Scirocco does not dote on you more.

Sarah lets out a small chuckle, nearly dropping her ice cream in the process.

>Sarah: Master Paptimus understands what is best for someone like me.
>Kamille:...Was that his idea? The whole..."master", thing?
>Sarah: He enjoys hearing it very much, if you must know. Just knowing it makes him happy...is more than enough for me to embrace it.

Biting down on the top of the ice cream, Sarah licks away a small stream of melted cream as she gives Kamille a coy look.

>Sarah: You and Master Paptimus have that in common. Maybe you should ask that Leila girl to call you it some time-
>Kamille: I'd take that over her acting like my mother-
>Sarah: Excuse me?
>>
>>23702616
>that Fa would have accepted it
I would accept Fa rationalizing that he's staying with the Titans for some reason, but not "Titans are totally great guys if you killed the bad Tsar." Fa actually believing Kamille when he's lying to her face is a disservice to her character, even if her development was stunted this run.

>Kamille: That wasn't to come out like that.
>Sarah: Does she, uh...try to act more mature in private with you?
>Kamille: Conversation is over. We have to get a move on.
>Sarah: Right...oh!

Seeing a chunk of the ice cream cone about to slip onto Kamille's outfit, Sarah quickly leans over to grab it, tossing the piece to the grass beside them.

>Sarah: You nearly stained that outfit.
>Kamille: Good eye on you. Thanks-

Sarah leans herself closer to Kamille, her face mere inches from his own.

>Sarah: Try to be more careful, ok?
>Kamille: Uh...sure-
>Sarah: Sound more confident when you say it.
>Kamille: Sure! Ok?!

Leaning back from Kamille, Sarah lets out a small giggle at Kamille's straightened posture.

>Sarah: Maybe Master Paptimus would prefer me to be a little more assertive from time to time~.
>Kamille: Damn it, I am not the same as him!
>Sarah: Thank you, Kamille. Now then...shouldn't we continue?
>Kamille: Tch...despite how you act, you really are just a little kid.
>Sarah: What kind of man does that make you for blushing at a "little kid" then?

As Sarah feels the cold texture of Kamille's ice cream tapping her forehead, she enters into a childish pout.

>Sarah: That was uncalled for!
>Kamille: Sorry, I saw a bug about to sting you.
>Sarah: R-really?!
>Kamille: Yeah, sure.

Helping Sarah wipe her forehead off, the two make their way to the rendezvous point to be transported into the bowels of Anaheim's private research and development facility. Meanwhile in the orbit above Von Braun, Jerid stares down from the bridge of the Alexandria towards the massive Lunar City. While his very blood boils from the idea of fighting the AEUG's forces above its surface, his thoughts turn to a conversation he had with Scirocco prior to being assigned under Gady's Command.

>Scirocco memory: "A man who can command both love and fear can achieve limitless authority...but once either of those breed hatred, your enemies will never cease."

From within his ceaselessly conflicted mental space, the urge to launch an attack against the Lunarians who silently observed the destruction of the people of Ayer's City rages within him, only being suppressed by his own desire to prove that he could carry on Kaiser Pinefields will to free the people of space from the insanity of "Zeonism".

>Medical Officer: Lieutenant Messa, we finished going over your readings. You are in peak physical condition. Even the marks on your back will pose no threat of infection by months end...would you consider providing a donation of blood for-
>Jerid: "Leila", was it? To the hell with her.
>Medical Officer: But sir-
>Jerid: Is she in any danger of dying as she is right now?
>Medical Officer: No, but this would allow her body to begin fully healing-
>Jerid: She can wait then. Jamitov likely has a private bank of blood just for his most faithful.
>Kacricon?: (She tried to get into your head! To make you weak!)
>Gady?: (If not for her, you would not be hesitating. The Moon is right there...make them all pay. If you don't, Kamille will always tower above you-)

Having been goaded by the voices lingering in his thoughts, Jerid pushes his way past the Medical Officer to find Fa. Entering into her temporary quarters, Jerid wastes not time in taking hold of her wrist, dragging her out from the room.

>Fa: W-what? Why are you-
>Jerid: All you have been doing is sulking and hiding away. Enough of that shit.
>Fa: P-please, I don't want to do this today-
>Jerid: Some still doubt your loyalties. When Von Braun waves the flag of surrender, I intend to make sure nobody will ever question that again.
>Fa: What are you planning?

Tightening his grip on Fa's wrist, Jerid makes his way to the hangar to launch in his Hyaku Shiki, keeping Fa with him in his gamble to force a surrender of Von Braun to secure his place in history.

>Jerid: I will not take the first shot. When the AEUG mobilizes to attack, I want the people of Von Braun to be aware that this is not an invasion. It is liberation.
>Fa: Eh?! Why are you taking me?! Just let me-
>Jerid: You told me once that you wanted to be a pilot. That your own comrades denied you that chance...now you can experience it in full. When the AEUG have opened fire above Von Braun, have the Alexandria deployed behind me. Even if we can't take the city today, I want them aware that the AEUG are not there to protect them. Once they realize that, we will have our army to take Granada.
>Fa: S-stop! Let me off-

Launching from the Alexandria, Jerid boosts towards the surface of the Moon, all while keeping Fa pinned with his raw strength.

>Jerid: (Love and fear...whichever one the people of Von Braun chooses, I will be the man who returned the Moon as rightful clay of the Earth!)
>Fa: (Mezun...Kamille...save me...!!)

Meanwhile at the Dakar Senate, news over the assassination of Blex Forer spreads amongst the numerous Senators, with many believing the attack to have been carried out to silence the AEUG's Commodore. Despite this however, Jamitov utilizes a scapegoat prepared by Bask to not only secure his innocence, but to shift the blame of the murder...

>Jamitov: As many of you know, Blex Forer had once served in the One Year War against the radicalized forces of Zeon. He was comrade in arms who had fought to secure our futures today. Even with our ideological differences, we both shared the common goal of stopping the seeds of Zeon from ever taking root again. Even now, I firmly believe he never once stopped with that hope...but there are those in this world who would spit upon that ideal. People who care little for the future of the Earth or space...

Slamming his fist against the podium, Jamitov raises his voice to the other Senators.

>Jamitov: Even now, I feel the shame of having allowed another citizen of the Federation to be lost.

The man responsible for the murder of Blex Forer has been found and punished for this heinous crime...but there are others. Seeds of the hatred and genocidal intents of the fallen Principality that still live on! I swear upon my very honor that I will not cease until order and stability have been returned to the Earth and the Colonies of space! In memorial to our fallen Senator, I would like to christen the proposed "Liberty" bill as the "Forer" act! Let his name be immortalized as one of heralding the beginning of a Universal Century of peace!

Observing the speech from Jamitov's penthouse, Beltorchika watches in horror as the Senate breaks into an almost unanimous applause. The very representatives of the world...seduced by a delusional Pied Piper. As the greatest humiliation, Blex Forer's very name would be used to justify future atrocities...all while the Senate simply continue to clap.

[Forer Act has been approved. +30 Morale to all Titan troops. +100000 money and resources granted]

Meanwhile in Hong Kong, Azul Stel stands over multiple incapacitated guards, with Stephanie Luio and himself looking to the end of Jamitov's speech through a monitor.

>Azul:...Get me your step father on the line.
>Stephanie: You do realize that what you are asking for is not possible-
>Azul: Would you prefer to be the only ones to hold the sins of having made dealings with Zeon, or would you rather share it with the Senate?

Stumbling into Stephanie's office, a battered and bruised guard charges to pin down Azul, only to be effortlessly knocked unconscious by Cucuruz Doan.

>Doan: Sorry...truly.
>Azul: Don't make me force you, miss Luio.

Blex gives a speech and is so persuasive that the Federation hates you. AEUG takes Odessa and Belfast. Bask wonders what the fuck is wrong with you.

As off the handle as Jerid is being thanks to his brain damage, we should stay the course and support him. Fa is more or less a lost cause and this would be a good opportunity to reveal the atrocities at Ayers City to not just Kamille but the rest of the moon.

Adding on to this, Scirocco wants battle data for the Zeta to feed back to Anaheim and the situation with Jerid will almost certainly erupt into combat. I say give them all the combat data they could want.

On a related note, Fa is the last link to Kamille's old life. Time to cut the knot.
>>
>>23703238
>Scirocco wants battle data for the Zeta to feed back to Anaheim
Both Scirocco and Anaheim will be our enemies eventually. Scirocco wouldn't tolerate a second Scirocco running around basically, and if we eventually win this war, Anaheim are just going to keep funding our enemies until there's nobody alive left to pay them for weapons in the solar system. Their response to the Forer Act for instance is almost certainly to double down on production for AEUG, because now it looks like the Titans are winning and the war might end soon.
If we need to fight, then fight. I'm sure we'll do plenty of combat in the Zeta. What we should not do is let Scirocco have free access to the Zeta - maybe he takes the data to produce his own machines, maybe he sabotages it somehow (imagine he puts a killswitch on thr biosensor for example), maybe he just fucking steals it even if that isn't his usual style. He's at best an ally of convenience against Bask, AEUG, and Zeon.

It's like you're forgetting this is a video game and Scirocco can't do things like putting a biosensor killswitch in unless Copy X makes a custom Zeta for Kamille and then it glitches out, forcing him to make an excuse for why Kamille just sandbagged so hard - such as what happened to Amuro earlier in this run.
>>
>>23703418
In this timeline, do you think he would've cucked Hathaway when Quess came onto him?
>>
>>23703623
Copy also cannot give Scirocco specifically any combat data. It's up to him to code in gameplay abstractions of these thread narrative elements.
>>
>>23703639

I imagine narratively (and possibly tech) it's to explain why The O has one (and it may be buffed a tad through hacks).
>>
>>23703623
My only wish is that the Zeta is properly represented and Copy mods a Biosensor (Psycommu) for the campaign, I don't think it would break the game too much.
>>
>>23703694

I've been playing untranslated since forever, does the Zeta not have one normally?
>>
>>23703694
I usually prefer if he doesn't fuck with units because of how easy it is to break the game. It often leads to unfulfilling humiliations, like with Chalia and Amuro.
>>23703701
It doesn't. We can only speculate as to why, but it's probably for balance purposes considering how cracked the Zeta is already, putting it in the hands of Roux or Amuro or indeed Kamille would trivialize Axis for the most part. Bizarrely, S/Ex-S and both Xi and Penelope have it, contributing to the notion.
>>
>>23703710

That's really funny (also I didn't realize Roux was a really good pilot but I don't play AEUG enough).

>Challia and Amuro

I was here for Amuro's deep sea diving adventure but what happened to Challia?
>>
>>23703723
All of Braw Bro's weapons became unusable because of some light custom modifications made to its unit skills in one of our prior runs, leading to Chalia - who should have been a BEAST in battle - getting smoked honestly even easier than he did canonically in the original MSG.
>>
>>23703723
nta but roux is a generally all around decent/good pilot if you level her up. what makes her really strong is if you put her in newtype use MS like the s gundam et. al. because of the way the newtype stat works
she basically becomes a budget amuro
>>
>>23703728
>>23703723
Yeah, because Roux is a canon pilot of Zeta she gets a limit boost when piloting it, and if it had Psycommu she would get an even bigger boost that doesn't count towards her max limit.
>>
>>23703730
I don’t believe the Zeta is a dedicated machine for anyone?
>>
>>23703701
No, but The O does. I’m pretty sure Zeta vs The O with canon pilots will end completely differently.
>>
>>23703740
The O is just crazy in GG the Zeta's a normal ass unit with stats that are a bit crazy for its tech level especially its offensive move set. The O on the other hand has 1000 fucking HP basically double the Zeta's HP with basically equal offenses. The O has the bulk of a fucking Mobile armor on a mobile suit, like the Psycho Gundam has 900 HP. The O also having effectively 250 Limit for Newtypes means that no one not even Scirocco is getting limited in their output while piloting the thing, someone could have 20 Range and Melee and be a 5/5 Newtype and they'd still not be over the limit The O gives them.
>>
>>23703821
On top of that, it IS a dedicated unit for Scirocco. So if you cheated him to have max stats and max NT level, he’d get the full 300% limit (in theory)(if it wasn’t capped)
>>
>>23703694

Psycommu is an internal flag, it doesn't need to have space.

Also according to my tests adding it to the Zeta makes it stronger than The O.
The ZZ trivializes the game with the High Mega Cannon. Mobility boosts make and break units in this game.
>>
>>23704037
Really? I wonder. The O seems like an utter monster in melee.
>>
>>23704012
Fuck, what was I thinking of then? Ex-S maybe.
>>
>>23704049
Melee only. The Zeta has a shield and multi-weapons to trigger past limits. The shield carries a lot of damage mitigation.
>>23704051
Ex-S has Psycommu.
>>
>>23704049
Actually went back and checked again: The O wins a 1v1 by a small margin.
Both pilots have been modded to max stats and max NT level. Forgot I had touched some values last time I tested.
https://files.catbox.moe/f6oyna.mp4
>>
>>23704049
How? Zeta has a beam saber with 300 damage, The O only has 270
>>
>>23704061
I thought shields only factored in when you actually defend instead of countering?
>>23704064
Thanks for checking it out, that's neat. Feels like they're pretty even in that case. I could see Zeta winning if it hadn't kept whiffing beam rifle shots, or The O winning earlier if it hadn't whiffed its hidden arm attacks.

>>23704068
The O is one of those suits with a hidden melee attack, and it has 120 power.
>>
>>23704073
No, shields always have a chance of blocking, it's greater if you have high END and choose to defend.

The real issue is that all of the texture dumps are missing data, so tons of animations would be missing if we wanted to try to remake this in unity/game maker/godot/wtv
>>
>>23704787
Well, if someone wanted to make a completely original fangame they wouldn't really need any assets from the GG games, especially depending on how they want battles to be shown
>>
>>23704787
The game itself lacks animations for some stuff like with the Adzam Leader bug and isn't programmed to deal with said exceptions, so yeah...
>>
>>23704758

In general MoA is soulless compared to BoZ. Not that I don't love MoA but a lot was lost and not just the cutscenes either.

La Vie En Rose as a base for AEUG, various ace units being more powerful and single suits rather than platoons (Gabthley and Rick Dias were hit with this for example), the varying Victory amd Defeat states for the OYW which determined who was in part 2, the negotiation mechanics. I don't know if any of them came back for Shin but MoA was definitely hurt by their absence.

As Jerid initiates his personal operation to overtake the Lunar City of Von Braun, Kamille and Sarah utilize the fake credentials provided by Scirocco to infiltrate the Anaheim facility.

>Anaheim Security Officer: Rather young, aren't you both?
>Sarah: Admiral Dornkirk has always been one to recognize talent. Jupiter is not kind to those who are unable to quickly adapt.

Looking over Sarah and Kamille's figures, the aged Security Officer raises an eyebrow at Kamille.

>Anaheim Security Officer: Some people just receive special treatment, huh?
>Kamille: What is that supposed to mean-
>Sarah: As I said, Jupiter is not kind to those who are unable to adapt. Sir Lumeen was never required for physical labor given his...talents.
>Anaheim Security Officer:...I see.

Recalling the details of his fake identity for the infiltration mission, Kamille attempts to speak with a refined inflection.

>Kamille: Such a shame that it took so long for Zafari's talents to manifest. They used to call her the "Donkey" with how much she was carrying on her back alone. She even far more boyish back then-

Sarah intentionally stops walking, causing Kamille to accidentally run into Sarah's extended elbow.

>Sarah: Oh, my deepest apologies! I am still not used to being around such light gravity...

Despite the awkward interaction, both Sarah and Kamille remain undetected as they are lead into the bowels of the Research and development facility. As they clear the final level of security, Kamille looks up to the unpainted, yet realized form of his Zeta Gundam.

>Kamille: Amazing...!
>Sarah: Would you spare me a moment? We will be back in just a moment, Sir Lumeen.

Luring the Security Officer under the guise of privately explaining certain oddities of Sir Lumeen, Sarah uses the opportunity to knock out the man, stealing his credentials in the process. Returning to Kamille's side, Sarah takes a deep breath.

>Sarah: All we need to do is shut down the proximity alarms.

It had almost been to easy. Anaheim, cocooned in safety from the war raging across space, and embolden from their defeat of the Ayer City rebels, had allowed themselves to be fully compromised by Scirocco's scheme. With the proximity alarm systems disabled due to Sarah's equipment and the Zeta Gundam now within their reach, the two agents of the man from Jupiter only need to enter into the cockpit of the Zeta Gundam. If it possesses the capabilities Kamille had estimated a marriage between the Gundam Mark II and Rick Dias's data would suggest, it would eclipse anything the Titans or AEUG had at their disposal.

>Sarah: Everything is set. They expect us to assist in testing this Mobile Suit, so there will be little to interfere in-
>AEUG Officer: We have an emergency! The Titans are launching an offensive against Von Braun! We need that Mobile Suit sent to the Argama!
>Kamille: Argama? Is it that ship that attacked Green Noa...?
>Anaheim Engineer: It is still isn't ready yet! The Nemo II's should be more than enough to handle-
>Grey Wolf: It is more than capable as it is! No need to waste time painting it either...the Titan's will learn to fear the color white!

Quickly realizing the attack to be caused by Jerid, Kamille growls with frustration as he takes Sarah's hand, running towards the lift leading to the Zeta Gundam's cockpit.

>Grey Wolf: Hm? Who is that? Hold it right there!
>Kamille: We were sent here to assist in its testing! We can take it from-

Just as the lift begins to rise, a man wearing an AEUG Normal Suit leaps onto the elevating platform, his fist swinging for Kamille's head. Moving to block the strike, the attacker readjusts his footing to piston the blow into Kamille's shoulder. Vaguely recognizing the movements, Kamille forces himself through the pain to jab at his assaulters neck, with him swiping away the mans helmet.

>Kamille:Y-you...!
>Anaheim Engineer: Commander Mex, what are-
>Mezun: Kamille Bidan!!
>>
>>23705365
it begins!
>>
>>23705365

As Sarah adjusts her body to attack Mezun, Kamille tackles into his Karate Captain, casting him to the edge of the lift as Kamille tries to force him off.

>Kamille: Get control over it! Now!
>Mezun: Not only are you alive, but the came here to sabotage the AEUG?!

Sensing the approaching danger that would come from wasting time, Sarah begrudgingly hops up for the Zeta Gundam's open cockpit, climbing inside to activate it as Mezun and Kamille continue to swing at one another.

>Mezun: No you don't!

As Mezun pounces upwards to try and grab onto Sarah's legs, he is pulled away with a quick tug from Kamille.

>Kamille: Did you drag Fa into the AEUG?! Why?!
>Mezun: You know where she is?! Were you cooperating with that blond asshole?!

For as long as Kamille had known Mezun, he always been unable to face his instructor in a real fight. Even in sparring, their fights had been one sided...on this day, it would not be a sparring match. It would be a matter of life and death.

>Mezun: What did that offer to make you turn, huh?! Was that kid just an extra bonus for you betraying everyone you ever knew?!
>Kamille: I don't have time for you!

Taking notice of soldiers beginning to take aim for their position, Kamille prepares to jab at Mezun's nerve, intent on knocking him out. Just as his fingers are about to connect however, Mezun bites into Kamille's gloved hand, drawing blood from the force of the bite.

>Mezun: Think an amateur move like that would work on me, Kamille?!

Entering into the Zeta's cockpit, Sarah quickly activates the new Mobile Suits systems. As it's frame begins to move, Kamille feels a foreign, invasive influence coming over his consciousness. Driven into a feral state of hate, Kamille feels his sanity being siphoned away as his repressed spite and anger drives him to focus on attacking Mezun.

>Grey Wolf: Hold on, boy! Don't fire, it could hit Mezun!

In that moment, a field of energy envelops the Zeta Gundam...

>Grey Wolf: A light? Is it an I-Field?
>Anaheim Engineer: B-bio Sensor is active! It works! T-this intensity though...?!

Kamille swings his head against Mezun's, his eyes flaring with an inhuman bloodlust as the current state of Fa's life and his own humiliations against Mezun in the past are forced into the forefront of Kamille's thoughts. Also filled with anger, Mezun swings his head against Kamille's, their foreheads bleeding from the impacts. Within the Zeta's cockpit, Sarah remains frozen with an unknown sense of terror. To the young Operative of Scirocco, she finds numerous wispy, hollow entities surrounding Kamille.

>Sarah: W-what is this?! Some kind of gas, or...Kamille! Get in here, now!!

From Kamille's perspective, multiple distorted, yet humanoid figures float around his body. In a short moment of clarity, Kamille's eye makes contact with one of the faceless entities moving directly for his face, a set of void-like eyes emerging to lock with his.

>???: [ThIS oNE WiLL waiT NO LOngeR-GRAnt THEm nEW LIfe-]
>Kamille: (You...your the same one that was attacking Leila and Four!)
>???: [YoU-stOLE LEila frOm uS...!]

The entity staring at Kamille forms a mouth, its voice creating numerous echoes within Kamille's thoughts.

>???: [GRANT ME A NEW BODY...AND THEY SHALL MAKE THIS MOBILE SUIT THEIR CHAMPION. I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU...KAMILLE-BIDAN...!!]

Whatever this force was, Kamille felt a disturbing familiarity with it. The same kind that he had felt as he had fully bonded with Leila.

On whether or not Mezun will become an ally or enemy if possessed I think its a win win situation regardless of what will happen. If he becomes an ally we get another body to throw at the AEUG. If he becomes an enemy he plunges the AEUG into chaos retardation and their alignment and PR plummits, Beating him as an enemy is not an issue either since we have a precedent in [Zeon] possessed Gato back in the [Bright] run and he was perfectly manageable.

It depends on whether he sees us as a pawn or a potential fellow genius. Best case in the former is that he says there's nothing he can do and he just keeps tabs on us to see how it affects us. Worst case in the latter, he might be able to dull our newtype senses so it can't affect us.

I sincerely doubt Kamille's (our) ability to keep this thing suppressed, especially if we're trying to not be a complete psychopath, so that's off the table. It WILL end in him going nuts.
>Mezun
Will just be the creation of our overall final boss beatstick and will just cripple the remainder of the AEUG with newtype ghost bullshit but maybe get us something good, but likely just pull us down also.
>Destroy
Seems like the only way to keep this run 'normal' and ghost free, but it'll also probably delete the Zetas from the run and fuck everyone but Axis' psycommu development, and maybe end up killing Sarah.
>Sarah
Lol
>>
How the fuck did we end up in yet another run where we have to contend with Psycho hellspawn?
>>
>>23705619
Because instead of staying on the Alexandra we went back to the labs again (OH NO!)
>>
>>23705619
>follow Jamitov's orders
>met Scirocco
>went to the labs
All you needed to do was stick to the plan and stay with Jerid.
>>
>>23705621
I know, it's insane.
>We should follow Jamitov's orders
>No, let's not let Scirrocco do negotiations so that we can end up serving under him
>>
>>23705627
Honestly the most schizo moment we had the whole run of "Alright fine we're going to get off this sinking ship so we can join with Scirroco"
"Actually never mind I wanna interrupt Scirroco's plans and listen to Jamitov so he can send us to the labs again"
It's about the biggest 180 we've done to Kamille in this run.
>>
>>23705633
>We should totally invest in man that is a DEAD END
>>
>>23705633

I had voted to remain on the Alexandria but I saw going to meet Jamitov and speaking for himself as Kamille trying to stand on his own two feet instead of needing a patron. Just, you know, the vote after that where everyone sent him to the labs (I think, it's been a good while since that thread)
>>
>>23705651
as said I thought we were going down the Scirroco path but nope, back to the labs again, not again! and we've been just trying to claw ourselves out of the labs and Jamitov since, we've made good process but i'm afraid we're going to go back because niggers like >>23705542
really want to bet on more newtype shit.
>>
>>23705663
I'll be honest, the only reason not to vote to destroy is if we think it'll kill Sarah. Dead Sarah means Scirrocco is going to come for our ass. Both literally and metaphorically.
>>
honestly im just kind of tired of the Psycho as a plot device, and I just want that shit gone since I feel it's been done to death in recent runs and every time it shows up it feels like a walking "your run will no longer be normal" button and I just want one over on this stupid fucking thing already.
>>
>>23705711
The question is, which option gets it the fuck out of here?
>>
>>23705711
>Can't we have an ordinary run?

>>
>>23705717
Destroying the Biosensors, but like... will that REALLY get it out of here? Or just delay the inevitable?
>>
>>23705720

The biosensor in Zeta was a vector for the dead to give their powers to Kamille. Destroying it will at least keep these fuckers from being an active problem. >>23705711
I would not mind it so much if the things evil spirits just wanted something other than “kill everyone” or “fuck so we can reincarnate in new bodies”.
>>
>>23705720
Got it, then that's what I'll vote for.
>>
>>23705467
Fuck me we cannot catch a break with regards to just getting a normal upgrade
I have no idea what to vote for here. I just wanted to grab the Zeta and kill AEUG/Zeon/Bask and whoever else picks a fight with us.
The obvious choice seems to be to order Sarah to destroy the biosensors. But what will that do to us?
>THEY SHALL MAKE THIS MOBILE SUIT THEIR CHAMPION
basically rules out Sarah or Mezun for me. It's our fucking Zeta bros this is so unfair.
>>
>>23705796
You're a stupid nigger if you don't realize that destroying the bio-sensors and making the Zeta's bio-sensor inoperable means shutting the Psycho ghosts out of the living world. The bio-sensor is what allows a mobile suit to receive the thoughts and feelings of the dead. Allow me to translate this option for you or any other anon failing to read the room:
Destroying the Bio-Sensors disengages us from the Psycho plotline (for now, if not permanently). The cost for doing this is going to be that Z Gundam doesn't get its Biosensor cheatcode turned on to trivialize the rest of the run. This is a worthwhile trade off so we don't get consumed by newtype ghost retardation again.
>>
>The Psycho is ordering us around

Remember anons, if any character tells us what to do, we do the opposite of what they say!
>>
Reminder. Blowing up the Biosensor won't remove the Soul Of The Psycho from Kamille. It will only stop it having a vector from which to act. The moment the next psycommu arrives, we're gonna have to deal with this again. It's going to be Liquid Snake bursting through a wall going "KAMILLE! I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!"

Go destroy the Biosensor and tell Scirocco that deranged dead guys are trying to destroy people's minds. We can try again after Kamille actually trains his brain and newtype powers and maybe we can combine newtype powers with some people idk

>>23705711
I would be ok with it if it was actually helpful the whole time for once but it tried lobotomizing everyone at the end of Titans Amuro even though we were treating it like our baby. Now I know there's no way to please, control, or get along with it just want Kamille to give it a newtype middle finger
>>
>>23705467
>???: [GRANT ME A NEW BODY...AND THEY SHALL MAKE THIS MOBILE SUIT THEIR CHAMPION.]
If that were to happen, never buying Psycho BS.
Going for destroying the Biosensors and the Zeta line so that it cannot be used by our enemies, plus we give Scirocco the finger for selling our baby in the first place with this wonderful inconvenience.
If he wants his desired variants, Kamille WILL design them exclusively for the Titans at Pezun and Augusta!
>>
I didn't even vote on this one, doesn't seem like any answer is a good one
>>
>>23706039
It's a lose lose situation. All we can do is make a choice and live with the consequences. Whatever they may be.
>>
>>23706042
I think the only choice I would bitch about is probably just the Sarah one, mostly because she doesn't deserve to be caught up in whatever this is
>>
>>23706043
Same. The other three choices are all reasonable actions for the Kamille we've played so far. He loves and cares for his comrades but is endlessly cruel to his enemies. That's why he bitch slapped Fa into the floor earlier.

So Kamille sacrificing Sarah would just be him turning into a jackass willing to sacrifice anyone for his goals.
>>
>>23705467
VOTE CALLED FOR TOTAL PSYCHO DEATH

Mezun escapes this round. I'm sorry, Sarah.
>>
>>23705467
>>23706051
Well at least this follows along with the pattern of Kamille absolutely obliterating AEUG forces and infrastructure whenever he fights.
>>
>>23706057

Kamille and Jerid are truly two sides of the same coin. And now they're both about to be in the same battlefield.
>>
>>23706051
>>23706057
I wonder if this'll kill a lot of people in the facility.
>>
>>23706077
At least we're not that bad at being a team killing fuck, we had the Hizack Custom pilots while Jerid, holy shit, ended the Alexandria and Ayers City.
>>
>>23706099
Ayers City was not Jerid's fault and the Alexandria(unless you mean the nu one) went down of their own choice.

The hizack crew was out of their element, yes Kamille was reckless but the titans should've given us more forces
>>
>>23706051
Even though I "won" this vote I don't feel good about it
This is NOT a permanent solution to Kamille having voices in his head, and it is probably going to either cripple or entirely remove the Zeta from this scenario.
>>
>>23706106
Likewise, Like I wanted to get the Zeta really badly and that judged my previous votes, but I don't want the Zeta if it means more psycho shit.
it feels bad to cut your losses but that's what i felt like was best, sorry everyone i was wrong to get the zeta gundam.
>>
>>23706106
I voted to let Mezun have it. It would have turn the entire Zeta line into Psychos, but it would remove the voice and let us fuck up on our own basis.
>>
>>23706103
I'm just having a giggle, but having Jerid working beside you is a sign that you need to make a will.
>>
>>23706077
Kamille will be obliterating Von Braun's facilities on the ground while Jerid's in orbit with a giant gun pointing down at the city. Von Braun may well be devastated by this pincer of destruction.
>>23706106
I think the Zeta won't have the Biosensor or it'll have it and be inoperable. As well as Scirocco and AEUG not getting their biosensor research because they've all been destroyed.
>>
What if that was a bait choice and, since Kamille has 1/5 with Sarah, she refuses to destroy the Biosensor?

Then we just end with Sarah getting possessed anyways, but hostile to us, and I get vindicated about choosing Mezun.
>>
>>23706098
>I wonder if this'll kill a lot of people in the facility.
Oh absolutely. There's going to be a ton of non-combatant casualties and named characters like Mezun or Grey Wolf will be outright killed or grievously injured.
It'd be cool if we got a scarred Mezun Mex who vows to take Kamille's life.

Meanwhile Jerid's gonna wonder what the hell is happening as Von Braun suddenly starts exploding. With how he's positioned himself though he'll give Kamille, Sarah, and the Zeta the perfect opportunity to escape. The Hyaku Shiki and Mega Beam Launcher being able to shoot down any forces that try and recover or destroy the Zeta.
>>
>>23706137
Of course, because they clearly didn't want a physical body to possess or the prototypes with a Biosensor creating the resonance with which they cast their oppressive aura.
>>
>>23706051
We get the zeta but without what makes the zeta special. Oh well, hope is for the best
>>
>>23706186
It's for the best. With how many Newtypes are on the Alexandria bringing a psychoactive device like a biosensor or psycommu would just be a disaster.
>>
>>23706169
imagine if us causing chaos will net Jerid brownie points because we made it easier for him
>>
>>23706169
>and Mega Beam Launcher
Are you mixing up the g-defenser? That's hooked to the mk2 currently. Would be neat to have it combo on the shiki kai but Jerid was going out quick. The only real back up he has is sydle who's likely trying to reign him in. Four is still recovering, but I suppose could still go into the rxT since that would utilize her style better. This also made me realize that by saying we'll talk with Jerid to Fa we can instead switch the topic to being about the blood so fixed Leila can get to use old suit
>>
>>23706287
That'd be nice. Going on Jerid's wild ride and shaping the future with him is definitely something we should have Kamille do. Following Lila's wishes and all that.
>>23706317
Jerid's Hyaku Shiki has the Map attack beam launcher. You know the giant beam gun that shoots in a straight line. That's why Jerid is so adamant to attack Von Braun because he has a powerful weapon that can destroy multiple enemies at once.

Does it? I thought the weapon had to be separately developed for such a thing. Which isn't quite possible with a stolen design. Like your logic works out in that sense but this is the oxygen deprived jerid. The dude doesn't really think things out. All we need is a run where he's not eating to get the les enfant terrible of him
>>
>>23706413
I *THINK* alternate loadouts can be developed as long as you have the right tech levels.
>>
>>23706413

It might've been last thread someone explained it but some designs let you research their special equipment if there's no prerequisite. The Mega Bazooka only requires the Shiki itself to be researched but something like the Super Gundam requires the MK II and G Defensor be completed for example.
>>
>>23706413
">Jerid: I can do it! With that new beam launcher, we can annihilate anything the AEUG can send at us!"
He didn't say MEGA beam launcher, but what else could it be, really?
>>
>>23706443
Given that this is presumably a story event with the Zeta being stolen and Jerid aiming the launcher at Von Braun I wonder what gameplay effects will happen. Kamille's ordered Sarah to destroy the test facilities, and if Jerid fires the Beam Launcher at the city it'd probably destroy most if not all of it. Von Braun might be reduced to a charred ruin, with extremely lowered money value.

Also Jerid deploying on his one men mission was actually a positive for us. If Scirocco's plan went flawlessly then the Biosensor would've activated and Kamille or Sarah would've gone crazy during testing. With no outside help they probably would've got captured by the Argama's forces. But with Jerid and the Alexandria here there's a real chance for Kamille to fight his way out and escape.
Also I don't think Fa is going to be happy with Von Braun being destroyed and Mezun being killed or injured. Fa's influence is probably gonna plummet to -5/5 , unless she gets completely mind broken by all of this and it resets to 0.
>>
>>23706568
>Fa's influence is probably gonna plummet to -5/5
Imagine shoving the Psycho ghost into Fa. Kamille would probably become a dehydrated mummy or castrated like Char at the end of the run.
>>
>>23706573
Let's hold off on that and see what happens when Leila wakes up. The enties that are attacking (?) Kamille say that she's been cut off from them. While after this operation Jerid will likely donate his blood to Leila to awaken and heal her, willingly or not.
So when Leila awakens she might have a completely different personality it might even "reset" back to when Kamille first met her. Which would be either terrible or great depending on how you feel about Leila. I imagine a lot more people will like her without the murderhobo tendencies.
>>
With all these instances of its the fucking Psycho Gundam, I half want to see a run where we're playing from the Psycho Gundam Spirit Kabal's POV let us be the haunting spirit of vengeful Newtype's past, a run where we play the Psycho Gundam Hive Mind bring Humanity into an age of Newtypes by any means necessary.

While unable to fully comprehend the nature of the energy flowing onto him, Kamille refuses to risk someone being consumed by the same scorn and hatred that had lurked within Leila in the past weeks. Even if meant violating Scirocco's orders and ruining the Zeta's future development, Kamille calls out to Sarah to finally sever this danger from manifesting...

>Kamille: Sarah!! Completely destroy this entire facility!!
>Sarah: Destroy it? B-but-
>Kamille: You have to trust me! Whatever the AEUG were developing onto the Zeta, it is far to dangerous!
>???: [WHY?! YOU...WOULD BETRAY US?! JUST AS THE ADULTS HAD?! BETRAYER...!! BETRAYER!!!]

Even through her haze of fanatical loyalty to Scirocco's ideals and plans, Sarah also fathoms the immense danger that would come from such a phenomena affecting him. Fighting through the maddening sensation striking her senses, Sarah swipes Kamille into the Zeta's cockpit, boosting the Mobile Suit upwards as she aims its wrist missiles for the facility.

>Mezun: Kamille!!

Firing everything available on the Zeta Gundam, Sarah lays waste to the entire development facility, with a geyser of explosions erupting into open space as Zeta emerges, its body still consumed by an immense glow of energy. With the prototype Biosensors within the research facility bursting in unison, the immense feedback lashes back onto Kamille and Sarah's minds. Gasping for air, Sarah clutches her head to try and the throbbing sensation still striking.

>Sarah:...Kamille, what did we just-

An isolated explosion bursts out from the center of the Zeta Gundam, immediately cutting the barrier of energy surrounding it. In that moment, Kamille collapses against Sarah's exposed stomach, his mind and body completely overwhelmed by the immense psychic pressure and the stress of his engagement with Mezun.

[Kamille is temporarily disabled]

Meanwhile at Von Braun, the cities officials are thrown into a state of panic as Jerid relays an open message.
>>
>>23707178
PSYCHO GUNDAM KEKED!!!!
>>
>>23707178

>Jerid: To the AEUG, and those who wave their flag, let it be known that I was the man who nearly brought your offshoot of Zeon to its knees! For the true patriots of the Earth, and those who have rejected the insanity of the "Spacenoids", today shall be the day that I will grant you the liberation that Ayers City once had! To those who are guilty though...there will be no tomorrow for any of you! Bring any army you wish! It won't matter!!

>Von Braun Official 1: Why is he piloting that machine? Isn't that one of the AEUG's-
>Von Braun Official 2: Mayor, we need reinforcements here! That madman is the one they told us about who was attacking Granada! He is going to level the entire city if we don't-
>Von Braun Mayor: Inform the AEUG that should they attempt to enter into Von Braun's airspace, we will officially render our support to the Titans.
>Von Braun Official 3: Mayor?! Why?!
>Von Braun Mayor: That man is trying to drag us into open combat. It is a risk...but if we show no hostility, the Federation will label his actions as an act of terror, rather than a reasonable use of force. The Forer Act must have that man drunk on power...we just have to bide our time. They have a ship also maintaining a position just outside of the Moon's field of gravity...yes, they want a battle. We don't grant them one. Not today.

While Fa continues to panic within the cockpit of the Hyaku Shiki, Jerid receives a notification of Von Braun's complete submission, with them offering any and all accommodations for his crew and himself until negotiations can be readied with Jamitov Hymen.

>Jerid:...So, even their leaders realized how hopeless supporting the AEUG are.
>Fa: Jerid, stop! Just take me back to-
>Jerid: On this day, I am not the only one who brought the light side of the Moon back under control of the Earth. History will know that you were here as well. The Spacenoid who repented. The first of many to come.

[Von Braun has surrendered without resistance]

I guess that does confirm that the psycho being really would’ve been serving Kamille, problem is that one it would probably just be Leila 2.0 and two it would either have been Mezun or Sarah and I’d want neither
>>
>>23707247
Kamille is another target for those ghosts, just like Leila, ever since we formed a bond with her and it became clear that she had infected us. Their influence seems to grow and become more real when we are in the presence of an active Psycommu or in the heat of battle.

He basically planned to make them look like titans did at Dakar in the anime, just the commander didn’t take the bait

Well Kamille seemingly cut Leila's connection with the spirits when he accidentally initiated that psychic link. The one where Leila, himself, and Four all had a collective stroke and newtype vision.
And now Kamille has denied the spirit's and destroyed all of the Biosensors that they were manifesting themselves through.

Hopefully all of that means that Kamille and Leila have been cut off from the poisonous influence of the ghosts of Murasame. So no more violent intrusive thoughts or weird newtype nonsense.

From the way Four reacted, we haven't gotten the real Leila back, and they're still possessing her. I'm pretty sure we're far from achieving that result. The only thing we know for sure is that their existence was never limited to the Psycho Gundam or Leila anymore, and when we establish a Newtype connection, they'll come hunting us down from the purgatory to which they are confined.

We only destroyed the prophet not the god. From the sounds of it these things were lingering in both Four and Leila and they latched onto Kamille after the seizure. The Biosensors were just a vector for them to manifest their powers into reality. (We could have had a full anti Spiral Zeta if we gave them Mezun)

Wonder if Leila will be more tolerable now? Also Sarah was a very good girl during all of this. We should nab her from Scirocco to be our replacement Fa.
>>
>>23707427
I just wish the Psycho got a break for once. It feels like every run recently has it sneak in and go rampant and become a final boss "KILL FUCK REINCARNATE" being that steals the show from everything else instead of staying in the background. There was literally no reason the evil nt ghosts had to come out this time so it's kind of disappointing that once again we are dealing with the psycho, even in a run where it was never made even once when I'd rather have focused on the Kamille/Mezun conflict or anything else. The fact it was behind the Leila mommy stuff has done zero favors for me as well. I just want this to be a "ABORT THE PSYCHO GUNDAM PLOTLINE" option at this point so we can have a run that isn't interrupted by it.
>>

I really, REALLY hope the psycho gundam hivemind doesn't come up in the other campaign later. It's getting old. I don't care if people keep voting for it. Don't even have the option to vote for it, at this point. Not to sound harsh.
>>
>>23707675
I didn't like the Leila mommy subplot but I thought that it was the consequences of Leila reading Kamille's mind and trying to emulate what he wants all the time which is fair enough even if I didn't like it but it being tied directly to the Psycho (which has been done in Titans and Gray AEUG in spirit (((Oshun 2 had newtypes speaking like the Psychos)) and IIRC the [BRIGHT] run too) made my opinion of that subplot plummet honestly. I'm not even mad over the choices, I just think its done to death and there's little to no variation each time this subplot happens where we're having a neat run and then the Psycho of agony and doom just ruins everything and we can't even touch it because they are bullshit ghosts. It's why it felt satisfying to finally give them the finger this run.
>>
I understand the criticism of the overuse dynamic of the Psycho and the tortured Souls, but it's one of the important storylines of the Zeta era, and I appreciate that Copy wanted to give it greater exposure in his writings. It is a constant danger that is never neglected and can really ruin our game. The problem is that whenever we replay the events of this era, it'll still be present. It is impossible to avoid unless there are drastic changes to the factions.
>>
>>23707763
I have literally never heard of the Psyco Gundam being an eldritch abomination from beyond that forcibly takes over people's bodies to spread death and destruction.
>>
>>23707765
The Psyco is at most a defective application of psycommu fucking with insane cybers. Making it an eldritch being is a bit of a stretch, but making it omnipresent for every run is tiring.
>>
>>23707769
I mean, I've never watched GQuuuuuuX so maybe it's part of that, but we see three Psyco Gundams across Zeta and ZZ and the only thing even remotely involving 'tortured souls' is the Psyco Mk-II retaining some quirks from when Rosamia used it.

>Wong:...You certainly have a backbone when there an entire planets distance to protect you. Do you have any idea of what you are even asking for with this?
>Azul: These "allies" we have within the Senate have abandoned any principle worth keeping them around for. Considering what you people have invested into keeping your playing piece in the Senate obedient, it is about time they finally do their part.
>Wong: Casting the world into a state of Anarchy is your idea of giving the AEUG a fighting chance? The last of Karaba's forces in America were just wiped out to the last man. Where exactly do you expect to gather an army to make this play of your worth it? Attacking Stephanie Luio's organization alone has done you little good in gaining favor with Anaheim...and especially me.

Taking a huff from his cigar, Wong maintains a harsh glare at Azul through his view screen.

>Wong: Threaten us all you like, but it does not mean we will just-
>Azul: How long will Jamitov wait before he turns that weapon being developed at Gryps on Granada?

No matter what you people have managed to keep him placated with, it won't last forever. Do you really want to gamble on him always remaining so tolerant of you people...or would rather wait until Bask Om takes the reigns and dedicates himself to hunting all of you down?
>Wong:...Should you fail, there will never be a safe haven for you. Are you truly so confident that this plan of yours will turn the tide of-
>Azul: Without a shadow of a doubt. All I need from you people is for evidence on your puppets to be released, and a set of new parts for my Mobile Suit.

Leaning forward, Wong releases an irritated grumble.

>Wong: We can't send any direct supplies to Earth as things are now...but there is a place off the coast of Japan that will do.

>the only thing even remotely involving 'tortured souls' is the Psyco Mk-II retaining some quirks from when Rosamia used it
Puru 2 mentions how it stinks of the last person that used it. There's residue there, but that's it. She didn't start crashing out until Elpeo came into the scene.

Nope, it's just avillain of the week piloted by a malnourished defective cyber. Not a hint if eldritch or tortured souls.

Afaik, the Psyco in GQ was relatively tame. The crazy shit with psycommu mostly came from psy explosions transporting things in the blast radius to another universe and Lalah apparently being powerful enough to influence the creation of other universes to try and make sure Char survives. Other than that I only really remember bog standard newtype convos

Copy certainly takes inspiration for his Psycho Gundam in stuff like the Demon Blade System from Gundam Katana which was stated to be a precursor to the Psycho Gundam's Psycommu system. I'm pretty sure the Novelization of Zeta also gives a bigger emphasis to the wailing souls of the dead aspect of the Psycho Gundam that's only lightly touched on in Zeta when Kamille first senses the Psycho Gundam in China.
>>
>>23707791
There will be no need for the Colony Laser; our destination is already set for Granada to seize Anaheim's leadership!

https://mega.nz/folder/i0VwHL7D#6HYMaBqA5esLXSSuTWrVsA

FOR THE RECORD I'm okay with Copy doing whatever he wants in his runs, I'm just questioning the part where that aspect is based in canon.
>>
>>23707825
Yeah, I'm just wrong on that. As for more side sources showing something is super fucking wrong with the Psycho Gundam, there are the two units from Solomon Express that opened a portal to the newtype dimension during a test operation. I'm not sure about other sources but I do recall there being a handful of secondary sources that collaborate something being deeply wrong with the Psycho Gundam line. Beyond that playing up the ghosts is just an easy way to make going for the Psycho Gundam a risk and not a brain-dead power move with how busted it is in GG games.
>>
>>23707842
>there are the two units from Solomon Express that opened a portal to the newtype dimension during a test operatio
Can you elaborate on that? It sounds completely insane.

As the Titans final offensive to eradicate the last of Karaba concludes in Alaska, a coordinated and brutal raid is conducted on a Titan garrison being readied on the eastern coast of the old United States territories by a remnant force of the fallen Principality of Zeon.

>Zeon Remnant Soldier: General, the transports are ready to move!
>Darota: Garma would have never condoned such brutality...may he forgive us when we arrive to serve him in the afterlife. Soon, we will restore New Yark to the splendor Lord Garma once brought it.

Within the underground bunker being utilized by this remnant group, Katz Kobayashi finds himself trapped within a containment cell for his multiple violent outburst against his Zeonic saviors.

>Zeon Remnant guard:...We don't appreciate food being wasted, boy. General made it clear he wanted you taken care of until you realize we aren't your enemies, but this tantrum of yours has to end. Eat.

Picking up the slightly stale load of bread, Katz chucks it against his cells door.

>Zeon Remnant guard: You know what, you little shit? I don't care if you are a child. Your parents obviously didn't teach you proper manners...i'll do it in their stead.

As the guard begins to pull away his belt to use as a flog, Katz prepares for his opening to escape. Just as the door is about to be opened, the guard is stopped by Reccoa Londe.

>Reccoa: I can take it from here.
>Zeon Remnant guard: You are on thin enough ice as it is already, lady.
>Reccoa: If you go in there, he is going to put everything he has into breaking out. He won't touch me-
>Katz: What are you?! Stop!

Entering into the cell, Reccoa gently pushes Katz back as he tries to lunge for the door.

>Katz: Damn it, why?! I could have-
>Reccoa: Stop. Just...stop it. You haven't eaten in days, and you smell awful.
>Katz: Is a full belly and a shower enough for you to throw away your dignity as a human?!
>Reccoa: If it means protecting you from yourself, I can accept that.
>>
>>23707842
>Beyond that playing up the ghosts is just an easy way to make going for the Psycho Gundam a risk and not a brain-dead power move with how busted it is in GG games.
That's pretty much what I thought. It's supposed to be unusable without a cyber newtype in it, but it doesn't enforce that rule.
>>
>>23707863
Now, will Amuro's wickedness turn Katz into a Zeek or a Titan?
>>
>>23707863

Convincing Katz to eat, Reccoa spends time with the young man to try and convince him to accept the patronage being offered by Zeon's remnants, even if it means swallowing his pride for the moment.

>Katz:...You were the one who was screaming of how monstrous they were! What could they have done to make you so obedient to them?!
>Reccoa:...The more you act this way, the easier it will be for them to justify hurting you. When I was your age, I had many friends who were just as a resist as you were. Strong willed, and independent. I was as well...and for that, we were punished. They lost their lives, and I and few others...we lost something else. We will both be free, I promise you. Just bear with it...
>Katz: Miss Reccoa...
>Reccoa: There, you see? When you take your mind off all that anger, you can eat. Nothing left but crumbs. Can you go take a shower without starting a fight?
>Katz:...No.
>Reccoa: Really? You want to act like this?
>Katz: I am not letting my guard down around these Zeon-
>Reccoa: Can someone fetch me a bucket of water and some wash cloths?
>Katz:...Huh? H-hold on-
>Reccoa: If you can't do it yourself, i'll do it for you.
>Katz: I don't need you to-
>Reccoa: Either you bathe in a shower, or I fix the problem right now.
>Katz:...Ugh, fine!

While Katz finally accepts cleaning himself off using the Remnants resources, Reccoa stands outside of the washroom with a set of washed clothes.

>Roberto: Never took you for the sort to reach into cradles.
>Reccoa: Care to say that again, "Returning Commander Roberto?"
>Roberto: Just trying to lessen the tension. Once we can get you both a shuttle, i'll send you into space.
>Reccoa: You plan to rebuild your career with Zeon here?
>Roberto: Karaba isn't done for. Not on my watch.
>Remnant Officer: Commander, the raid was complete success! We finally have the means to fight back properly now!
>Roberto: The only thing between us and Dakar is an ocean...

So I don't know much of the specifics since I don't speak Japanese but I've heard of it through the Grape vine but during a test for a prototype do the Psycho Gundam that happened. Here's what I think the related page is untranslated unfortunately. Just a thing to note the Solomon Express is definately one of the more out there representations of psycommu tech. Like the Elmeth is the shape it is to hold a giant artificial brain to resonate with the newtype and control the weapons.

Even if it is out there that's really cool. Psychommu technology and it's derivatives being able to tear holes in space or something. I understand though people not liking it in stories though, as it does take away from war drama and personal stakes.
I do like the explanation for the Elmeth's psycommu though. Explains why psycommu's are so hard to build and maintain in the first place. As well as why the system (and cyber newtypes) are shown as being crimes against nature and humanity.

The Elmeth is also called the "Tricorn Hat" by Federation forces which further enforces the connection.

CX is like an anti Fukui in that he attributes a lot of the awful shit in UC to being the fault of Newtypes and the efforts to make them. I would not be surprised if he was a Titan shill for the stuff Jamitov pushes.

Also supposedly, Solomon Express isn't an official Sunrise work, so its presence in the canon is questionable. There's also stuff like an experimental ZZ with 25 nuclear reactors on it and a Zeta Plus that's fully automated and loaded with the cannon from the ZZ and incoms from the Ex-S.
Not that that matters here, just in case anybody was concerned about it being too 'out there'.

To civilization, the Titans actions in Alaska could be considered an atrocity. To the Titans themselves? It was a playground of unmatched joy. Unrestrained, unrestricted, and unbound, the forces under Bask indulged in their most devious and sadistic urges as they lay waste to any and all life not identified as a Titan in the frozen land.

>Bask:...Magnificent. It is as if hell itself is ripping its way out from the Tundras.
>Titan Officer: C-Colonel, there is a battalion refusing to continue the operation. They are claiming an objection of-
>Bask: Kill them all. If their bodies can be recovered, I want them made examples of. Scarecrows of flesh for whatever bares witness to this...masterpiece of a victory.

As the more enthusiastic Titans under Bask's command quickly degrade into a state of ritualistic brutality, the meager survivors of Karaba evacuate with whatever survivors they can, fueled only by raw hatred for the Titans. Monitoring the heinous marauding from a safe distance, a thin framed woman with purple hair and a gaunt, harsh featured man both appear entranced by the destruction.

>Purple-haired woman: Innit a shame? If they lasted a wee bit longer, we could've been part ov' the fun.
>Harsh-featured man: Are you satisfied, woman? If so, give us what you promised. Give us the means to push these Spaceborn vermin from the Earth!

From her private aircraft, Director Robins smirks at the enthusiasm of the two refugee's who had so willingly offered themselves onto her special project, in return for a promise of being granted a chance to serve someone of a similar temperament to them both.

>Director Robins: It is refreshing to neither of you showing sign of regret. That mindset will be the very one Bask will appreciate in his service.

Looking over to a mechanical pod keeping Mouar in stasis, Robins gently rubs her finger over a reinforced liquid tank containing a partially developed fetus, its spinal fluid being slowly extracted.

We need to awaken Leila and have Kamille dote on her ASAP!

Though if you look at recent events one way, it can be seen as Kamille undergoing a great labor of love to save his darling from evil forces. The nerve pinch was originally a way to stop Leila from fighting with another girl. With the mental bridge that formed from it leading to Kamille truly understanding her and learning of the spirits that plague her. Then later when given the chance Kamille completely rebukes the forces that have a hold over Leila and destroys everything to deny them another conduit into the world.
So maybe when Kamille and Leila finally wake up it'll be a sweet reunion. Or Leila will be freaking out now that the voices in her head are gone. Who knows.

News of Von Braun's surrender quickly reaches the ear of Jamitov Hymen, with the Titans Supreme Commander baffled at Jerid not only being alive, but being the one to have forced the city to submit.

>Jamitov: Get me in contact with Scirocco! I want an explanation of this madness-
>Beltorchika: Jamitov...can you answer something for me?
>Jamitov: Hm? Not now-
>Beltorchika: Who are the Titans truly following? You may have the support of the Senate, but do men like Bask and this "Jerid" care for that? Do the soldiers that follow them respect you for playing politics?
>Jamitov Aide: What are you playing at, girl?! Remain silent-
>Jamitov: What are you trying to say?
>Beltorchika: Say that you defeat the AEUG with this new glut of power and authority you have gathered...just what good will your plans amount to if the bulk of your own army despises everything you stand for?
>Jamitov:...Of all the words we have shared together, this is are the most foolish. Bask's very existence has been condoned by me. I could remove him at any time. As for Jerid, his survival is only an irritant. Despite your attempts to goad me, I am fully aware of what will need to be done to secure the Titans power to my-
>Beltorchika: I see you for what you are. The kind of man who only knows how to speak empty promises, while relying on others to do their dirty work...just like the Senates leadership.

From anyone else, such words would not have affected Jamitov. To hear it from one he believed to be a Newtype however, one who had been recommended by a candidate for replacing Bask...it had genuinely unnerved the aged Admiral.

Putting her faith in the AEUG being able to defeat Jamitov in a direct battle, even with their numerous loses in space, Beltorchika silently prays that she will have an opportunity to end Jamitov's life in the heat of a great battle, giving the AEUG a chance to show the world of their resolve. Meanwhile on Von Braun, Fa is mortified as she is shown off before the Lunarian media as not a victim of a captive, but as an accomplice to the fall of the city. Leaning next to Fa, Jerid whispers into her ear, his tone sincere, yet condescending.

>AEUG may no longer produce Zeta Gundam or its variants.
This is good. Really good news. Imagine Char getting into a Zeta with a biosensor. We still don't know what Scirocco is up to. Perhaps he was intending a maass brainwashing attempt with the biosensor.
>>
>>23709109
I'm glad we got the Zeta but I got to say with hindsight we may have picked one of the most boring iterations. If we sent Jerid odds are he would have be possessed by the Psycho Gundam and started acting as our bestest friend ever with no explanation what so ever which would have been hilarious.

Oh no it totally would have got wrong at some point I just can't stop laughing at the concept of the thread short circuiting and brewing up conspiracy theories about what the fuck happened during the Zeta heist to explain why Jerid suddenly is acting all buddy buddy with Kamile.
>>
>>23709109
>The common soldiers will remember that AEUG fell by my hand
This old man is completely delusional, Jamitov is the last person anyone will be crediting for these victories.
I don't exactly want to side with Scirocco but he may be the only show in town when shit really kicks off in the Titans.
If only Jerid had the sense to take a good gig being King of the Moon after the war... sadly his ambition will probably never cease.
It is so frustrating that we keep getting knocked out, letting others play politics around us. I'm still mad we didn't get to just run California Base for a while, managing R&D, recruiting people, laying the groundwork for our own force as a semi-independent player within the Titans. If this doesn't get us the Zeta then it's all going to feel so worthless - "Inheritor of the Zeta" is certainly promising at least.

Both would be good, Jamitov on the front line means he can easily be martyred if he goes out like a chump, likewise him not being at the Gryps Laser means its less of a target while its still getting built, and if he actually pulls off his offensive that means we've just dealt with a chunk of the AEUG without needing to lead the charge ourselves.

Dead End is a Dead End. I'd actually want him to win again the AEUG. I want him to get betrayed by him by Bask and I want to realize he torched all of his allies like a fool. I want Belt to televise his apologize on live television before blowing his own brains out..
