The job arc isn't Takahashi's fault. You can blame it entirely on Omori:a) he really like the idea of KR as an outlet to show professions to kids. Drive (police detective), Build (scientist), Ex-Aid (doctor), Zero One (executive) all have actual professions that are an intrinsic part of their characters.b) because of Zero One's job theme, production got help filming at new locations by industry groups that liked the idea of the show promoting their professions/careers to kids so they dragged it out with the job arc.
