I think the safest option here is to do nothing we've got a G-Gundam character here holding our balls here who wants us to follow her and NOT Axis otherwise she would have used a we. I just don't think Four is that bad or irrational. She wouldn't want to fight Mineva, for example. She is more used to feeling what other Newtypes are feeling and thinking than any of the other options. What happened with Sydle was a serious blunder on her part, but it's not like she's been stupid for the whole run. Her noble warrior schtick if anything could make Axis respect us more, it's filled with people like that.
Anyway Sarah and Four are my top 2, and I have no problems with either winning, this is sadly a blind jump so it's not like we can say for sure what's the best choice. For all we know we are going to be thrown in a gladiatorial arena to fight to the death with whoever we choose, it's the wild fucking west over at Axis.

We should go with Haman and pick someone. Refusing and attacking Haman is suicide since we'll just end up dead due to her newtype fuckery. Letting Haman decide will set a precedent for future scenes that Kamille is demoralized under the sway of Haman's powers making things harder later.

So who should we take? Its more or less impossible to know for sure what we'll find on Axis but we can work out who is good to take based on several criteria.

When Haman appeared, Kamille's fatigue increased by 25 points, Jerid's fatigue increased by 5 and Sarah's fatigue increased by 10. The stronger a newtype the worse they are here it seems. I'm assuming a character's willpower would also help resist as long as their newtype capabilities are not drastically stronger than their willpower. So from best to worse it'd be Jerid (canonically a weak newtype whose strong willed to resist) > Fa (average willed weak newtype) > Sarah (average willed average newtype) = Four (strong willed strong newtype)>Leila (weak will average newtype)>Kamille (strong will but extremely strong newtype).

Basically whatever skills they have that'd be relevant. imo it'd be Jerid (best bar none, proved himself as an Ayers City guerrilla) > Sarah (this is Zeta Define Sarah and she did great when stealing the Zeta) > Four (Martial arts master who knows the vulcan pinch but she's emotional) > Leila (Presumably had non-ms military training) > Fa (basically a damsel outside a mobile suit)

Not an issue for most. The only ones in question are Fa and Leila but Fa wouldn't betray Jerid and Leila did choose to fight in Granada despite her misgivings.

Not really, it's just Copy way of /m/achinations to get us to be careful with our votes and given we were prepared to dump Sydle previously, suffice to say we gotten complacent.
That said, I suggest we get Fa and Leila more involve from now on, instead of depending on Sarah and Four most of the time as they can carry their own weight.
Also, Kamile need to resolve whatever issues with Jerid peacefully and end it on a good note.
All that aside, just an idea.
what you anons think of Copy X doing a (very) short chapter(from a /m/SV OC(preferably voters choice, ofc) POV) for Brightverse after this and Siegaxe (Gquuux/Ral) Campaign, seeing that we tend to overthink things through nowadays, I want try voting without using my brain for once.

It's too soon to say we chose wrong, Sarah is just feeling emotional since she feels like we chose her for real after Scirocco just played with her emotions for so long. Wait and see how she does at Axis.
Suffice to say, I don't think Leila or Fa would have reacted well to Haman's newtype mindrape either, and we have separate reasons for not picking Four or Jerid. I'm basically certain that going alone, fighting, or letting Haman pick were trap options.
The best thing we can do right now is leave behind some clear instructions for our team while we are gone. Jerid is always basically just going to do whatever he wants, but he's not immune to being influenced at least.
We need to get it through their skulls that this war isn't over, Axis is a much bigger threat than AEUG, and they need to start building up Granada's defences ASAP. Maybe try to at least send someone to Von Braun and get a better picture of how bad things are on the ground there. If we're making our stand on the moon, we need the whole moon with us.

As the shuttle containing Kamille and Sarah approaches the gargantuan asteroid base, Melanie Hue Carbine of Anaheim and Wong Lee are granted an audience with the Supreme Leader of this Zeon movement...Mineva Lao Zabi.

The shuttle containing Kamille and Sarah finally lands, with Kamille keeping his companion close as the two are escorted to be judged by Queen Mineva. Kamille stumbles slightly as he leaves the shuttle, his mind struggling from an oppressive sensation permeating through the asteroid.

Rushing back onto the shuttle, the Representative completely abandons Kamille and Sarah as a nearly bare chested woman confidently approaches, the clacking of her sharpened heels echoing with every step. Moving to join her, two men with nearly identical features to one another position themselves at her side. Averting his eyes from the woman's ample and open bosom, Kamille notices a visible burn scar on her cheek, along with tiny peeking white hairs breaching through her obviously dyed hair. Cracking a coy smile, the woman's eyes linger over Sarah's features, bothering the young Titan Officer.

I think Sarah only saw a glimpse of the canon timeline with no frame of reference for what she was seeing. As she said Sarah just saw herself with Scirocco and Reccoa, right until Katz came with the G-Defensor and ended up killing her. However, Sarah did see the Zeta as it was originally painted this run. So if Sarah saw the canon Zeta she'd probably just assume that AEUG or Axis forces managed to build another one. Sarah did think that Scirocco managed to kill Kamille in her vision after all, she's a logical person.

Sarah tumbles forward, raising her hands to cover shield her hair as Chara continue to cluck out a husky chortle at her expense. Kamille moves to shield Sarah's body, pushing her to his back. It had been subtle, but Kamille had sensed an abnormal sensation secreting from Chara, one that had quietly rooting itself onto himself and Sarah. While Kamille had subconsciously managed to shrug it off, he was unsure of Sarah's tolerance to this unknown factor.

Observing the living district of Axis, Kamille and Sarah are surprised to find it operating virtually no different from the Colonies, with thousands of innocents going about their daily lives. Despite this appearance however, a sense of danger still looms within Kamille as he keeps Sarah close.

Arriving at the Palace, the two Titans are lead past hundreds of silent, heavily armed security into the deepest bowels of the political center of Axis. With each step closer to the Throne chamber, Kamille feels his ears being bombarded by an orchestra of melodic tones.

With the doors to Mineva's throne being opened, Kamille feels the throbbing in his head growing unbearable. Sensing the growing pain from Kamille, Sarah also grows slightly woozy as they continue their approach.

Falling to his knees, Kamille scrapes his fingers against the sides of his face, the once partially pleasant noises now devolving into a ceaseless cacophony against his hearing.

The soft, yet commanding voice's decree is accepted immediately, with the blindingly lit throne chamber being darkened within seconds of her order. The curtains concealing the throne are manually pulled aside, revealing the inheritor of the Principality of Zeon, Mineva Lao Zabi. Kamille gasps for air as the mortifyingly invasive noises cease. While Sarah kneels down to assist him back to his feet, Mineva stands from her throne to look upon the two.

Raising her hand out to Kamille and Sarah, Mineva closes her eyes. After a moment of momentary strain, she releases a small puff of held air. Balling her hand, she raises her thumb upward.

Truthfully we don't know enough about Axis itself to make a judgment on whether or not we can work with them. There's been a hostile atmosphere from the moment Kamille stepped foot there and while we may have the blessing of Mineva, Haman is still the one running the show.

I'm also not sure if being Londo Bell for Axis is something Jerid will go for given how anti-Zeon he's been already and multiple members of the main crew have given misgivings as well. We just have to wait and see what else comes out of this meeting and afterwards (like what will Amuro and Quattro do now that Axis has arrived)

As it stands, if we side with Axis Zeon even temporarily we would be risking a major hit to our relationship with Jerid, although we may be able to talk him out of breaking things off with us entirely.

Four runs on vibes more than any other newtype on our team and the vibes coming from the Axis cyber-newtype death cult are absolutely rancid. It would be easier to sell her on the idea of working with them as a temporary arrangement compared to Jerid but it would still be a difficult pill to swallow.

Sarah wants to be joined at the hip with Kamille right now so I'm not worried about her turning on us. That said, I also feel like Chara or one of the other cyberized freaks here might have already begun worming their way into her mind. This may lead to a decision down the line where we need to do a mind-merge with her to weed out the parasite but that might cost Kamille fatigue, a hit to his Endurance stat, or another coma where we are locked out of the driver's seat as far as narrative decision making goes.

Fa at this point just wants all the killing to be done and over with and siding with the militarily fresh Axis seems to be the quickest way to achieve that. She could defect but I'm not overly concerned in the long term. She might find a place to belong with Axis and fill the hole in her heart but it will be filled with drugs, invasive surgery, and genocidal dogma

All that said, I don't trust Bask as far as we can throw him. He hates us. He hates the colonies, He hates spacenoids (us, again). He needs to be put down before he bleeds our potential power base into nothingness. I am a bit concerned about the Newtype lab bullshit going on back on Earth, too.

Unless it's just oneitis I kind of just see her as your standard pair bonding newtype she imprinted onto Jerid as the one in canon who is also megalomanic just a less competent one and in cannon of course she's not going to come onto Scirocco she already has Jerid who she'd bonded with at that point. As their shuttle nears Granda however, their escort is halted by a new model Mobile Suit.

It's another decision where both options feel like traps.
Scirocco IS better than both Bask and Haman. I think that much is clear.
The question is, how much damage can this choice to work with him realistically do to us? Sydle is dead and Sarah trusts us over Scirocco, so there's nobody for him to turn against us. He could fuck with our mobile suits, for sure. He could feed info to Haman if he's been given a mission by Axis to work as a spy.
I almost think we need to say yes here JUST for the sake of information gathering. Then tell him to fuck off back to Axis. We know so little about what we're dealing with from Axis, even after going there. And Scirocco's desperation is legitimate, we've seen that in scenes where he's alone - maybe giving him a little rope to work with means he won't become a second Amuro.

We're in a bit of a tough spot. Kamille doesn't really have many allies and Bask and Axis are going crazy along with going all in on cybers and newtype tech. Kamille seems to want to retire after the war is over and seems to have grown tired of the cycle of violence. Since he gets a bit upset when Jerid kills someone who isn't a threat. Kinda feels like Jerid vs Kamille is inevitable since Jerid just smashes everything he perceives as a threat.

Don't Trust won, but it wasn't a landslide.
Scirocco probably could have convinced us if it wasn't for that pointless colony laser shot that didn't even stop us taking Granada, AND has put the weapon itself out of commission for a while.

This will probably lead to Scirocco just fully siding with Axis as a self-preservation tactic pretty soon. I think the sentiment of the thread is that these potential allies are all terrible and we need to strike it out alone for a while, even if it means we are more vulnerable to simple brute force at least we know all our troops are loyal to us (for now anyway, Jerid...)
