>Duel thread>Is a faggot
Not that Duel faggot (fuck him, diabetes isnt working fast enough) but i thought it honestly was kinda mediocre and pefered the first SSSS series honestly, i don't care for how largely ignored the big fellas are in terms of marketing though.
>>23849057>Bogeyman>Is a schizzoid
>>23849040>Dude it's like...a deconstructerino...you HAVE to watch this one..unlike other Braves show this one focuses on the characters!behead all covid tourists
>>23849079Did you just take a stab in the dark? This series isn't a deconstruction of anything.
I didn't think the brown haired guy's backstory was interesting enough to merit focus, and it felt like they forgot to use the red haired girl for anything so they just threw her the golden bird, but I remember liking it otherwise.
>>23849081Just like Eva, but that's doesn't stop midwit faggots from repeating it
>>23849085i might be retarded but i kinda didn't understand how most of these backstories factored fuckall into anything, especially "muh dead sister", kinda felt like multiple anime plots stitched together that ultimately didn't really factor into eachother, kinda one of the reasons i preferred gridman because the plot felt more cohesive with an actual focus i guess?
>a decent thread died for this
>>23849131Cry about it.
>>23849088No one even says it about this show though.
Was the original live action Gridman that popular when it came out or is what's his name just pretending because he like playing contrarian?
This show desperately needed genre savvy characters to keep things moving, like the glasses guy and Akane in the first SSSS anime. Characters who who knew up from down despite the unfamiliar scenario and were excited to participate. Most of the show just felt like characters who didn't know what they were doing, fumbling around in a scenario they weren't particularly interested in. The only exception was Anti and the kaiju girl and they were barely around. A large fraction of the cast were wet blankets more concerned with their mundane real world trauma that didn't really connect back with anything.
>>23849179Yeah pretty much my thoughts but worded better
>>23849176What do you think?
it's a good 8/10 or whatever. Still better than the slop this board consumes
>>23849251I'd say they were both 7.5s I enjoyed, it felt like one had a stronger cast and the other had a stronger story, suffering from the small amount of episodes. The movie was unnecessary good fun and fanservice, did its job well so I'd give it a solid 8(7s are already pretty good for me)
Yuta was fine as an amnesiac protagonist since we learn things with him.Yomogi was boring as shit and had no arc, his love life was boring and he had no "scar" from the "scarred souls shine like stars" tagline.
>>23849229Mostly leaning on the latter.
I like them more in Super Robot Wars since they are forced to take piloting more seriously instead of the kids sans Gauma just acting like daydreamers who are barely concerned with saving their town.

>>23850346SRW is the lowest common denominator for /v/edditors to gather and talk about shows they haven't watchedseriously just go to the general and no one actually fucking watches anything, it's always full of "should I watch this incredibly low entry point show?" kind of discussions
>>23850350I saw Dynazenon, irrelevant post, now go back
