As far as Hasbro merch goes, I'm mainly coming from a background of their main action figure lines (Transformers Generations, G.I. Joe Classified, ML & Black Series).What I'm curious about is, does Hasbro do an older-targeted toyline for MLP? Or, do we at least have an open-ish communication with the toy design team, at least to the same degree that TF/Joe/Mahvel/SW fans do, with their respective toy designers at Hasbro?I've just always seen MLP as one of Hasbro's three core franchises alongside TF and Joe, even before G4, so I'm kind of surprised that the simple children's dolls are still the [only] toys that Hasbro makes (alongside licensed plushies n whatnot). Personally, I'd kill for some actually-poseable figures with accessories in the same vein as the toylines above, and it would be cheap to do since they can repeat the same couple bucks over and over, just needing to get the proportions and joints right once, basically. MLP's as old as TF and has plenty adult and now nostalgic young adult fans, I don't think it would have limited appeal. I know Guardians of Harmony was a thing, but all the extraneous "boy toy" gimmickry and angey faces turned me off. They never even did Rarity.It's kind of ironic, isn't it..? If I've got my toy history right, the entire reason the term "action figure" exists was because of a marketing thing by the original Joe toys in the 60s, which feared that "having good poseability" would draw comparisons to Barbie dolls. Now 60 years later, one of the most famous girls' toy brands is still known for being basically mini-statues.

These types of cards are marked by a silver border (or more confusingly - acorn holostamps instead of oval ones at the bottom) and indicate non legality.MtG has a fairly cohesive lore and things that would be too silly for dimension traveling wizards would be reserved for that. Though now there are multitudes of crossover sets, so that's falling apart.The main issue are mechanics that would refer to things not in the game. Also, the text 'mana of any color may be used to cast that copy' is important since in the format of Commander (or any really regarding deckbuilding) your Commander of the deck restricts your color identity. Meaning, Discord is only allowed to have red and black or colorless cards in the deck. The balancing system of mana would also be color restricted. This ability skirts around that and not only effectively adds random spells to your deck (you're also restricted to 100 and ONLY those 100 SINGLETON format cards), but he also allows off color cards to be cast and that's definitely not normal. At least, not unless you're stealing opponents cards/spells.In short, yes. All of them are illegal. But the fun part about Commander is that you can have a conversation with the playgroup about allowing you to play a deck built with these kinds of cards. Properly disclosing what it does and what you have in it prevents any feel bads or anger. Some people prefer a more "in-universe" game of magic. No crossovers like The Walking Dead cards. But you'll find most are willing to allow you here and there. Probably not all the time since these types of cards are so goofy that they inherently impact the outcome of a game and thus cause the game to feel less legit (and people play because they want to play their decks the way they're intended to be). I'm sure you could get a group to allow these decks here and there. Even before we got the rest of the Mane Six, people saw Twilight's ability and another card from another not legal set that allows you to do her ability even without the rest of the as of yet unprinted man six. And doing a pregame discussion would enable people to accept you playing that even then. Now it's even more legit, so yeah - possible to play.
