It was cool, it seemed more "realistic" in universe that she wouldn't just randomly be perfect at all spells like she is post season 3.Not that I think she should permanently struggle to perform spells, but rather that it should be a gradual thing, not her suddenly being a Mary Sue who can do whatever she wants the first time perfectly.
