Though it's actually really difficult for me to 'let go' and draw like that, (you're basically turning your brain off and just 'feeling' the art). In general, I don't have a very fluid style, it's quite rigid most of the time. It's best for tamping down a large sketch that's more than just skeletons, but won't go into precise detail, (which you would then put on another layer). I wish I was better at it, but I'm too detail orientated for it.

I guess the reason that I find the process more enjoyable than any other form of art is because I approach is from the angle of "fuck it, if I'm not actually trying, then I can't get mad at myself if I fuck it up".Approaching a piece of paper with a pencil and really attempting to express myself and not being able to is the most frustrating thing to me.

(You can still see the guides I used)The eyebrows were both intentional and not, as I did this from memory. At the time it seemed right since it was just lightly drawn pencil, but now that I look back at it, it seems wrong. Even if I did catch it though, it probably wouldn't have translated well to the line art, since this was a very small drawing on a post it note.A few things are really out of proportion.Regardless, I'm rather happy with the end result
