I have some good news for a change: The shelter & fence is finally complete and Cowboy & Lucy have already taken up residence!It took a bit longer than planned because the ground was more limestone than expected, and Kim has been insanely busy driving horses around.Kim’s artist is still working on the sign (and she’s doing it for free! so Kim is trying not to rush her), but it’ll be posted as soon as it's done.Y’all did something amazing for the horses and it’s so great to see how much this community has continued to come together and aid a small charity in saving horses. I can’t understate how much this means to Kim, who has supported us through thick and thin. Still though worst case of them breaking it is them going on a walk about around the property for a few hours vs them collapsing a roof onto themselves or another horse. So the fence doesn't need to be as sturdy as the shelter and thus less expensive.
