I didn't take down any notes as I was reading like I would for a "real" review, so I can't point to specific lines, but here's some general points I feel should be mentioned:First off, you need to learn how dialogue works. Switching from narration to dialogue should usually mean starting a new paragraph. Same for switching back from dialogue to narration, with the exception of a small bit of action / movement / description that needs to be in the middle of some dialogue, for example:>"What's that?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, pointing with a hoof, "Is that a bird or what?"More importantly - and this is a big problem in your story - is that switching from one speaker to a different speaker should ALWAYS mean a new paragraph. You should absolutely never put two different speakers in the same paragraph. For example, your line:>“Hey mom! You’ll never guess what place I won!” She smirked before calling back. “I guess first place. Am I right?”Which, if I'm interpreting this correctly, is her son saying "You'll never guess what place I won!", with her responding "I guess first place." I.e. two separate speakers in the same paragraph - the same line, even. This is a very basic mistake which makes you look like a complete amateur, regardless of the overall quality of your writing. Basically, anything that throws off the reader, leads to confusion, and requires them to stop and think back on what was just said in order to parse it correctly, should be considered a mistake. Pretty much the only exception is if you are intentionally crafting a garden path sentence, but that is a niche use case.

The ache in her wing was still there, but surely there were still some exercise she could get that didn’t involve her wings. After a little more waddling she was standing in her living room. The most she could achieve was rocking her pregnancy back-and-forth.This solid mass of text could easily be broken into at least three paragraphs, and doing so would vastly improve its readability.

The phrasing of these lines is awkward and it give the story a halting "jerky" sort of feel, rather than the smoothly flowing storytelling that it ought to have. Try reading your stories out loud, as the awkwardness of these phrases is often much more obvious when spoken, especially if you don't have a strong internal monologue like I have. I also urge you to read well-written stories regularly, especially in audiobook format. It will "train" your subconscious to trend towards similarly well-written lines and automatically reject awkward phrasing without needing to concentrate on it directly.

B: Even if you were completely lazy and inactive for the entire pregnancy, 11-12 months (the length of a horse pregnancy) is not long enough to turn a highly toned athlete's body into a slovenly mass of pudgy folds of squishy fat without EXTREME amounts of overeating with a heavily sugar and fat rich diet. And no, pregnancy cravings are not enough to justify that.C: Even towards the end of pregnancy, neither a woman nor a mare is left absolutely debilitated by the weight in their belly. It is a nuisance and does get in the way of some activities, but few species would survive long enough to give birth in the wild if they were left utterly disabled by their pregnancy, like you have depicted Dash here.

For the newer artwork, it's definitely bigger than realistic, but that's the only way to get the effect. I like them, but I guess they're an acquired taste. I'm probably through with this particular idea anyway, unless I can find a way to make it work better. A view directly underneath her would definitely work without being unrealistic at all, but it's a less interesting view also, and I'd probably use Princess Celestia for the figure there or with similar ideas.
