I turned down the transparency to blend the red with the pinkish butt layer.After all that, it came out looking really good I think. I tried extending the butt blush on her right cheek down farther, but that ruins the lighting. It's like her cheek is sagging when you do that. The fact that her rump is already lit to have reflections on it (the butt blush) is what makes this possible. You have multiple colors in play and you're just emphasizing the blush on top of the base fur color. I don't think this technique would work on a solid color rump without a lot of lighting difference.
