My mind out of nowhere turned to some posts I saw years ago saying that Twilight only pacified Starlight so she'd stop trying to erase history and then was all but abandoned afterwards, or something like that.
>>41419051Cool story bro. She saved her for the same reason she saved sunset. They were cute lovable mares who needed help a long time ago and never got it, other people failed them and turned them into hurt people who hurt people.Twilight helped them because she's a good pony.

>>41419151Twilight felt the darkness in her heart.
>>41419089So was Trixie, and she didn't help her.
>>41419225Twilight had only been in Ponyville for like, a week when Trixie first showed up.When she had more experience, Twilight did forgive Trixie in her second appearance.
>>41419268>Twilight did forgive Trixie in her second appearanceWhich didn't really matter because of No Second Prances.

>>41419151This one was different. >hurt people hurt peopleCozy wasn't hurt, she was just a psychopath. She deserves a lot of things, but most of them aren't good.
>>41420544Starlight wasn't "hurt" either until they slapped a backstory onto her. It's no different for Cozy. Starlight was much more of a psychopath than Cozy prior to the retroactive "boohoo she's so sad" stuff.
>>41420638>autist doesn't understand basic storytelling conceptsAdditional information about a character is often learned later after their introduction. The first episode of any character is not required to divulge every single aspect of the character's life at once. The m6's cutie mark origins and motivations aren't revealed until later, Pinkie's school shooter mode wasn't known until later, their family, etc. Every episode something new is learned about a character, that is how stories work.
>>41420737>projecting autist running around showing off his "media literacy" certificateStarlight was created with no backstory in mind. It was tacked onto her after the fact. Unlike the mane six, who were all written with greater characters and lives in mind that were intended to be shown off later. Cozy Glow falls into the former, except for some reason they just chose not to give the child anything. They had every opportunity to as they had done for Starlight, but they just refused.
>>41420765>no uAlso you got it backwards.
