Following up what anon said in the last thread, I had to consult the G5 wiki to figure out the order for these two shows. They really had to make things complicated with the release order. So I enjoyed the G5 movie! It was cute and fun, and I liked the music. There were a handful of moments that got a real laugh out of me too (bing bong). I thought Sunny, Izzy, and Hitch were fun characters, and I think I would have liked Zipp and Pipp too if they had gotten more screentime, but I didn't think they were very interesting. I don't like that G5's setting is a continuation of G4's, but I understand why Hasbro did it. They wanted to milk out the popularity of G4 by referring back to it and not fully commit to a seperate universe like they've done for the previous generations. Really, they need to move away from toys and focus on animation, when was the last time you saw a kid play with a toy? Now that the movie is finished, we can see how they follow up with both TYT and MYM in the upcoming weeks.
