The worst thing about Luna is how utterly unimportant she is. In her absence for 1,000 years nothing of value was lost. Celestia handled the kingdom herself, Equestria grew and changed on its own, and not one person asked for her. Upon her return she did what? The job Celestia was already doing just fine herself (moving the moon) and a job so meaningless (entering dreams) it was unnecessary for 1,000 years. And that's all she does and will do until she retires. From then on she never did anything Celestia couldn't do, no threat too strong for Twilight and her friends, she never helped but never would've had to as she's far too weak, far too meaningless. She exists for nothing and will probably just die forgotten, and at best in the shadow of her sister.
