>>41428810The show is a relationship between the characters and the viewer, a human. So obviously humans are the exception to the idyllic pony ethnostate. Plus ponies, being ANTHROPO(human)-morphized they, by very nature, have more in common with man, from whom they gain their sentience/sapience, their empathy and their reason. Of course other creatures have human properties, but they are in part and mingled with their primary nature (dragon, griffin, changeling, etc), but since a human is only human, the anthropomorphized part of a pony’s soul will have a stronger connection to a pure human. Therefore it’s perfectly in line with reason that humans might be granted a greater privilege to be welcomed into pony society than other creatures whose anthropomorphism is imperfect.
