>>41661298Well the main problem that G6, and any future generation after that, needs to solve is that people associate the My Little Pony brand with Friendship is Magic and it doesn't seem like that's gonna change. In my mind they can either play it safe by bringing back the Mane 6, which it seems like they're leaning towards if the leaks are to be believed, or, if they're gonna try to go clean slate, they need to make something so good that it stands on its own

Also didn't actually throw out my generic list.So obviously G6 either needs to use reinventions of the major main cast or uh. Yeah just that at this point, you can also do dumb bullshit to use the original series directly i suppose but you'd want to jump way back.Regardless of your thoughts on later ideas the issue inherently is bloat with just using raw ass G4 in its later stages.Its inherently much much harder to beat an established legacy; the thing with MLP during G4 is that it managed to somehow exist as a big brand but one without a notable icon. Its unpractical and just not worthwhile to pursue getting Twilights fat ass off the screen. Or not using a Rainbow Dash or a Pinkie(there's a reason why I'm just listing Camps roster though), there's probably a decent bit of leeway but if you want some level of reliability you need to retain the really big parts of G4 because the public remembers it well enough.I actually have a vague reboot idea hanging around somewhere, unironically it was scraps made for the backstory of a game or something.Wherein Rainbow Dash is the main villain cause haha rainbow of disharmony. And Twilight is a pegasus cause yep. Basically after escaping RDs factory with another Pegasus(who she's separated from) with Flurry(who was kidnapped obviously), she spends a few years raising Flurry in a village and then goes on a journey to give Flurry to the princesses or something. Flurry gets tricked into being a villain for a bit, Tirek exists and I don't feel like throwing out the whole thing, maybe i'll use that autism someday. The show is now a live action/animation, similar to the Super Mario Bros Super Show in presentation. The show takes place on a horse ranch outside of Omaha Nebraska. A woman named Kim looks after the horses, and doesn't know they can talk and have adventures. The horses go on wacky and cute adventures when no one is looking, ala Toy Story, and from their perspective, they're cute animated technicolor ponies.

So you remember that little story during the first episode of g4? Basically that. Here is what I had in mind.I'd like to see to see a somewhat more serious prequel based on the Princess Celestia and Luna, learning lessons akin to the mane 6. It would take place about 1000+ years before MLP Gen 4, way before Celly and Lulu were alicorns. This would be set around the time after the unification of Equestria, but the rulers would simply be the leaders of the three tribes, Earth, Unicorn, and Pegasus ponies. There would still be tension in the air, despite the agreement to unite. Celly and Luna would learn about the differeing beliefs and way of life of each of the tribes, while making friends along the way of course, and finally uniting them in friendship. Maybe there would be recurring characters like Star Swirl the bearded helping them along, I'm not exactly sure. As they learn more, and make more friends, they start to gain more responsibility, and eventually, they unite the tribes of Equestria under their rule, and become in charge of the Sun and Moon. Once they take power however, then we see how hard it is to implement laws and such with friendship in mind, especially since Celestia and Luna don't actually meet the ponies effected too often anymore. As a result, They somewhat regress in their personal relationships, especially toward each other. They start to build resentment for one another, and eventually Nightmare moon appears. Maybe a proto-Daybreaker, I don't know. Celestia trys to repair the relationship, but its too little, too late. The rest is history. Maybe the show ends there, or maybe it ends when she meets Twilight. I don't know, I'm not a writer, I just have ideas.I think the show would be great not just in learning how to make friends, but also to resolve situations between friends or even people you don't even know, as well as showing empathy to others that are different from you. I think it would also fit thematically, as they learn each pony race, what makes them special and different, and finally, they become all three. No longer are the ponies just a tribal alliance, it is a true nation, bound by friendship and magic. It would also show how being complaicant with your friendships can also lead to ruin. I'm just shooting ideas out, I'm sorry if this seems like a jumbled mess.

>>41661298The episode starts out with live action of a little girl in her bedroom playing with her pony plushies and brushables when she gets called away. maybe she's going to school or the amusement park or grandma's house, doesn't matter. as soon as she's gone the ponies all come to life just like in toystory, and continue the "adventure" they were on using household items as props. Sometimes the family cat or dog come in to join in on the antics.The girl has a slightly older brother that likes to come in with his action figures and fuck things up and fights with the girl. when they both get called away to do chores or school or whatever, the action figures also come to life-- but aren't always in every episode.In a small twist, the ponies are all tired of tea parties all day while the action figures are all tired of war and fighting all the time. They often explore all around the house questioning what the various gadgets do (especially what they find in the bedside tables of the parents room), and sometimes break things or make a mess that the kids have to clean up and get in trouble and punished for.
