IIRC, in the original story (or at least the one I read), Pinkie has a hit list, and everytime somebody's number comes up, she organizes a date and kills them.In the story, it looks like she has been doing that for a while (there's a description of random corpses and body parts).Strangely urine focused parts aside, when she kills Rainbow Dash, she cleans her tools, goes to a cupboard, takes a book, and crosses Rainbow Dash's name, and leaves it next to a bucket filled with ticket numbers. How the system started? No idea.After that, her next victim is Silver Spoon and Applebloom becomes her apprentice.That's how I remember it.
