I have grown used to SmileyTatsu a lot.
It's not as light as some presets, but it's extremely dependable and easily editable, responding very well to changes and new rules. It does have its own light-ish style that I like more than I dislike (and the genre/style sliders help mix it up, especially when you edit them according to your preferences), and it doesn't overdo any crazy stuff prone to derailing the chat, such as **excessive formatting** of some others. My idea was a bit like we do now for bots. As long as it comes from anons here and doesn't showcase too many problems (very, very obvious AI greetings, broken {{user}} or {{char}}, etc.), then it's good to go.
I also had ideas, a bit like we do for events, to have weeks dedicated to characters, so we can write greetings, refine the description, etc., for them or simply make characters we still don't have.

For other things, I also guess there could be a way to distinguish greetings, like more general ones, those that force you into a role, etc., but that's something that can come after. A way to represent more AU versions of the character too...

I think it's fine to have a massive obnoxious list when you're adding greetings, though your idea of some basic tags to help filter the list down would help. If you go through all the existing greetings for cards and categorize them you'll probably get a pretty good idea of what tags you need, I can't imagine there'd need to be many.

Temp 1 and Top P 1 work great. Top P is also necessary if you’re using logit bias.

With Gemini yes, it's rate limited per day, although you can switch between multiple accounts.

Majority of anons here abuse big models for free.
If you have good hardware, you can also run small local models for free.

For non-local, you have several options:

This will give you access to models like Gemini EXP or Gemini 2 Flash. These aren't the best corpo models but are still fun and good. If you just want to chat with pones, it will do the job nicely.

There is a limit of daily messages, but you can make 2-3 accounts and be largely (very largely) good enough for everything (Gemini 2 Flash is 1500-2000 messages daily).

If not local, after reading the guide, I would either go for Gemini or look for free trials if you want to bother with it.

Took a look at it, here are some advices.

You put a lorebook in your card, which indeed can seem like a good idea at first, but for each entry, ask yourself first:

For instance, for Princess Luna you put:

On an empty card, ask the AI directly who Princess Luna is and what she does. I'm pretty sure the AI will tell you what you wrote in the entry, so putting information the AI already knows inside a lorebook will just add more tokens to your context without adding anything substantial. Even small models will know this much about Luna.
If you want to keep a lorebook, I would only list things that are new or essential to your setting, that you want a focus on, or that the AI doesn't know that well or tends to forget.

It's just an example and it's for you to decide what to put in, but for instance, for Princess Luna, you may decide that she can detect that the dreams of the Isekai protagonist are different and that she can either identify him because of that or is interested in him because of that, etc. It's just an example, so don't put it if it's not interesting to you, but it's to show that here you put information that is YOUR headcanon/setting and that the AI doesn't know about before you write it.

For the greetings themselves, there are some problems with rogue ". You also sometimes use ' for dialogues and just after ". I'm also not sure if there are big differences between 1 and 3.

Sure, I can say the main noticeable thing is that it gets pony anatomy right much more than regular qwen did. Ponies actually cross their forelegs for instance instead of their "arms". And I did not see any fingers / digits / fists with just some min p. It also made their personalities stand out a bit more. I think it just needs to cook a good deal more for that stuff to really settle in more. Seems like its undercooked cause you need lower temp like 0.7-0.8 or it starts doing silly stuff that does not make sense.

So under any normal RP circumstances, they can't do anything other than refusing to provide the service if they detect abuse. They can't determine what your previous 1000 prompts were. At most, they could hypothetically intercept your one current prompt and check what's in it, so if you're proompting foal/loli someplace where it's illegal and want to be extra safe I could see an argument for a VPN. Other than that, not really.

Characterhub as a whole has fallen down big time; all bots don't make the number of downloads they did at first.
One reason, I believe, is the fact they separated it from the chub.ai side of things.
If you want to see if your cards are interacted with, you need to go here and see if they have messages, not downloads anymore. But even then, it's not the numbers Characterhub made before.
MLP cards are also fucked since they go into NSFL, and you need to activate an option to see them now.

Since the website will soon be finished, I'm launching a poll to see which character you would like to work on first.
I limited it to see how a first test run could go, but if it works well, we could try with more background ponies, famous OCs, etc., after.

To give, once again, a quick run-down: it would be a sort of mini event where we can brainstorm on how the AI roleplays the character we chose, what are things they already know, things they struggle with, or focuses we should go for (for instance, how do we better remove the wings on Unicorn Twilight? How do we make the AI use the vast repertoire of magic she has in a creative way without prompting for it and just not pew pew and teleports?).
Greetings can also be given for the character, revisions, ideas, good images for a card, etc.
That allows everyone to participate in what they're good at without doing everything.

The first voted character will be a test run both for the website and to see if events like this are interesting.
Maybe the poll will be a clusterfuck with so many choices, but we'll see.

Doing a bit of testing, Modified Gemini Preset,
I basically added in a 'Thought Process' pair, and one that SHOULD turn any character you play with into a Pony version. Kinda/Sorta works? Anatomy is sometimes inaccurate, sometimes still mentions hands. If anyone can find a better set of instructions, that'd be awesome? Otherwise, I hope others can enjoy this, heh.
