>Well the fans not talking about pony games is because it's their fault and because the games aren't worth talking about.https://mlpgamereviews.blogspot.com/2014/10/dream-horse-game.html>Unfortunately most brony fans aren't even gamers and don't care about games.>Whenever I ask a fan of mlp what kinda game he wants, he always gives me shit-tasted game genres and he genuinely seems to love them, sick faggots.

>>41846923From his article "Top 10 mistakes in pony games"https://mlpgamereviews.blogspot.com/2014/08/9-screw-ups-in-pony-games.html
>>41846643>>Unfortunately most brony fans aren't even gamers and don't care about games. This is so fucking true, especially when I look at the games that horsefuckers put out. Not that there's anything wrong with trying your hand at something, but there's almost nothing that isn't "babby's first unity project" or "overambitious project stuck in dev hell since 2017". The only unqualified "good" pony game I've played was Day Dreaming Derpy.
>>41847039But BfED is objectively one of the better pony games. It actually knows its scope and stays within it, most pony games are unfinished garbo.
>>41847055Just look at the games they're playing. None of these millenials even touched a NES, SNES, Genesis and XP game in their life. They don't have basic design sense. Also they either 1) have no programming ability thus get limited by what they can do and that's why all the physics/jumping feel awful cause they can't code worth a shit, they never opened a game engine+editor in their lives, they refuse to learn how to code, they refuse to open the game editor everyday to learn everyday, they refuse to learn from people better than them.
>>41847110and 2) most of them are either unironic spec eds that take pills & treatments or they're desk jockey "engineers" that finished computer science, the most generic degree you can get and then are busy desk jockeying for the rest of their life and thus have no inclination for design and no free time. I worked with a security programmer, all he does is pretend to manage servers just like a sysadmin. He has no clue how to optimize games or how games work and even his common sense took a massive dive as he no longer thinks and never ever thinks like a gamer/player, he thinks like a sysadmin.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myF6Nlz0EBo&ab_channel=manieichttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZKkYdelD2o&ab_channel=ScarDirehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IT1LXoLdv8k&ab_channel=TheMovieSceneTV

>>41847126I made various Starcraft 1 maps.
Most artists were already good before they joined the fandom, they already made art for other things. Same with the fanfic writers. But for video games ... nobody had ever made games before or deeply cared about games beyond the most generic stuff everyone else played at least once in their life such as Team Fortress and Counter Strike.Editors with powerful scripts are the easiest way to start gamedevving. It also promotes creativity when you have to tardwrangle and workaround some feature that isn't naturally supported by the game such as a RPG inside a RTS game.Editing existing maps/modding games is also again an even easier method cause you don't have to start from zero. You know why I quit? Nobody played them. I mean I have 18k maps in my folder, some of which are amazing, there's even this recreation of Among Us in Starcraft which people to refuse to play because it isn't Tower Defense & any other type of Defense game. Same with bronies. I'm honestly disgusted by the people playing Pony Town and same for the people who kept egging on Everfree Outpost to be a roleplay game. When I suggest to them good features such as "Okay but there's only so much you can simulate through text, only so much you can play pretend. Wouldn't you like less SoL and more Adventure and for your actions to be supported by the game's mechanics?">Nah I'm good. I can already do what I want via chat text. Also why would I want an epic adventure when I just want to roleplay a wedding party?
Megapony or Ponyvania? before Fallout Remains those 2 were the biggest projects. Outside of Legends of Equestria.Clockwork Stallions is also pretty big and also very crappy and made by 1 person with 29 members pretending to help him out.
>>41846932Sex with Ada (Pre-trauma)Double sex with Ada (Post-trauma)
>>41847304Ponyvania was a bigger project than Megapony. Megapony was short and simple by comparison.
WTF is Clockwork Stallions? First time I hear it.

>>41846932This game looks good, but it's so expensive.
>>41848431Deus, você é pobre.Another reason people don't make video games for this fandom especially is that everyone is a third worlder poorfag.Games are already considered the wagiecagie for a programmer and codemonkeys are amazed when a real engine especially physics programmer comes along and worships his feet.A real software engineer is paid anywhere between 150k-490k USD a year. Compared to the poorfag 40k-70k USD video game programmers with no extra bonuses per projects as opposed to software engineers that also receive dividends and can trademark their software.
