I remember this show being very hit or miss back when I still used to watch Cartoon Network.
Does Cartoon Network still even exist? What's even on there anymore?
>>
For me it was the Robot Chicken MLP skits

I loved that time. All those parodies were enjoyable.
>>
A lot of people hated this show but I enjoyed it as a kid, but I also enjoyed problem solverz so maybe I'm just retarded.

Lmao I do remember these, I used to watch MAD all the time when I came home from school. I bet Tara Strong had an absolute blast voicing some of these too.

2013 surely was a great time for memes and meta jokes.
MAD's sketches were obviously poking fun at the "it" things, but those were good things. Plus, it were short easy jokes for kids. Hell, the Cowboy vs Aliens is still my favorite. It was a shitty movie, but parody sketches were fun because they were literally saying "is a dumb concept, how could you believe someone would take it seriously?"
Also, My Little Brave Horse is 100% adorable.

The one going "my YT is kicking off, I'm famous!" and ending in another corp job was my favorite one. Also, the CEO is an ass, let me see that sweet butt stamp, prick.

Even funnier that it's actually Tara voicing the ponies in most of these

I dont think the last one with the Cree Summer girl mutilating that poor pegasus is MLP.

I love how they did the Mordetwi meme before it was ever a thing.

All of those are pretty funny. However, some people are gonna be mad at me for saying this, but really think about it: The degree to which the show ended up becoming a disgusting parody of itself can not be any more obvious. All one has to do is look at that final sketch, where the characters are pointlessly beating up and hurting small children—the joke is supposed to be “It’s funny, because MLP is a sweet and innocent franchise and they would never harm their target demographic.”

Yet in the actual show, they didn’t simply beat up a cute and innocent little girl, they sent her to Hell forever, then when she was freed and tricked into a suicide mission for months, they relentlessly tortured her to death after she was already soundly defeated, and then took sadistic glee in her pain and misery. Seriously, what the fuck?!

And the “My Little Warhorse” one is pretty ironic in that it’s the opposite of what the show became. It may be doing it sardonically, but the lesson of them learning to stop fighting is ironically so much more in line with what the show was SUPPOSED to be. It disgustingly lost sight of that and turned into a cringy edgelord torture fest.

Anyway, I’m really sorry, I’m just never going to get over how bad that ending was, ever! Looking back with nostalgia glasses, though, as if the franchise was never ruined so horribly: I like all of these. The “Rainbow Dash and Bernstein” one is the funniest, though I have no clue what the show its parodying is. The art style just makes me laugh and the writing feels really sharp. Plus the actors all did a great job, and they nailed Rainbow Dash’s personality pretty well. I miss 2012. Imagine if the world never went to shit, if the show never went to shit, and if the Brony fandom was still going strong! Wouldn’t that have been incredible? *sigh*

The parody is based on the show "Crash and Bernstein"
