Would Wild Manes be better if it became more science fiction than slice of life? We already have pre-established aliens and robots in the show.

Robots and UFOs while providing some interesting topics to disguise is not necessary to make show good. I'd like to see some movement, character grow and how mares achieve their goals, more secondary characters, town really feels empty compared to FiM. I want Wild Manes to have some sort of main plot line while some filler slice of life EPs can be made but now whole show feels like a filler. It is not a good sign.
