Hello again! I don't have much to report this time, except that posing ponies in Illustrious is hard still for me. I can get more or less complicated poses to work now, but "multiposing" is still a mess. I mean "hoof on face" and "hoof on hip" separately generates what I need (of course it depends on the prompt, sometimes serious adjustments are needed) but together - hands, always hands. I hope I'd be able to figure this out.But I have a question. I was advised to try NoobAI with Illustrious character Loras (since this works with CivitAI online generator). So what are the best checkpoints for NoobAI for generating feral ponies? I tried some but got absolutely atrocious results, some worked almost fine but still meh.

Okay, apparently Smooth Mix (NoobAI) checkpoint works more or less acceptable with online generation after all, with certain styles at least. But I don't like how it replicated character here and there after High-res fix (not always but still). Maybe I should lower Lora weight idk. And I couldn'tgen more or less complicated poses, like in Illustrious. Anyway, I have another question. I get quite annoying "white dots everywhere" error from time to time. It's not hard to remove them, but it's very annoying. What causes it and is there any way to lower the amount of these dots at least?

To me, it looks a lot like the kind of stuff you see in anime drawings that try to "realistically" depict sunlight. You know how you see all those small specks of dust when you look into the sunlight shining through your window? Some anime drawings try to emulate that look this way. If you're using some keyword like "crepuscular rays" or whatever, that might be the cause.

Like on this pic dots, or rather circles, doesn't look unnatural. Okay, I tried several things. First of all I added bokeh (these colorful dots you see on some anime pics) in negatives. That helped from case to case. I removed "high contrast" that I like to use and amount of dots lowered. So I played with the prompt order and my minimal lighting/colors tags and now I am sure that most of the times dots are caused by lighting conflicts. And this issue is very situational, it depends on many factors, from checkpoints I use, to Loras and their combinations and of course tags order. Since bokeh helped too, I also suspect there's something in certain datasets, when AI still tries to push this effect despite prompt and fails, then dots appears. But when these two factors meet, the white dots effect multiplies uncontrollably. Hm. Maybe I would be able to fix certain prompts that were ruined by it after all. Not everything will have enough focus to get considered for the final image. But using high CFG scales is a no-go because of the loss of quality you get by limiting the range of data points the model can use to create your image.

But this Celestia is gorgeous!And I finally located the culprit behind my white dots problem. All the factors I mentioned earlier are significant and multiply the main issue but even after checking everything and removing everything dots appeared again. Moreover, I noticed that certain background are getting affected aswell, like grid background or striped background. So I went back, up to the simplest prompt without any BREAKs where this issue wasn't presented and looked at its structure. There was a huge difference in one part so I restructured one of the recent "white dots" prompts and it helped. Dots disappeared. So to the main point. It appears in Illustrious (maybe only with the online generator), with pony Loras (actually anime Loras could get affected aswell), with several BREAK parts, it's a very bad idea to put quality tags at the beginning of the prompt and separate them from background and lighting tags. The best place for them, or rather for their BREAK part/subprompt is at the very end. Their order should go like this: Quality tags, background tags, lighting tags, additional tags (like detailed textures, if needed. I like how it makes certain gens more "real", quite fun effect), but I prefer to avoid them unless absolutely necessary. Anyway, so BREAK actually broken my prompts, heh. But now, now even bokeh effect works right or any dots effect in general, this gen is a good example. They don't look like they're burned into the image and have proper shapes. Yes I get these dots errors from time to time anyway but it's not "snowstorm all across my gen" now. And geometric backgrounds are warped anymore. Yay! But it's better to mind certain trigger words and Loras still, some of them likes to bring this issue back (but I suspect only in prompts like mine , with several BREAK parts). So thanks Anons for all your help once again. It was invaluable, without it I wouldn't be able to figure out what's wrong.Oh and I noticed how different quality tags could tremendously affect the end result. I have a small collection of them and now I had a good reason to test them all since I suspected they're causing these dots. I always wondered why people used such unusual tags, now I know.

Getting two characters in the same image is still a pain, even with inpainting. It's so much rolling to get something even close enough for the 2nd and often 3rd go rounds. They always end up overlapping too much so touching one ruins the other, or missing something, or too fucked up to really fix, or just as a weird mix of features from both characters.And I still can't get them to really interact with each other, just sort of exist in the same space.

Discord's chaos basically forced the tree to create agents to try and restore balance to the world and without going too deeply into the magical side of my homebrew, Celestia was created to be the embodiment of light-based magic which is almost all of pony magic is based on but Luna was to be the embodiment of darkness but because the tree was a being of pure light as well it had to send Luna out with Celestia in the hope she would find her own darkness outside of it's guidance. This is my explanation as to why Celestia is the 'elder' sister despite them both being born at practically the same time and also explains why Luna does not have the same drive and confidence Celestia does. This design flaw of Luna's creation is my elaborate method to create a 'fix-it' AU which allows Anon's presence in my story to be impactful to Luna on a emotional level and prevent her fall to evil (and also allow for the Anon x Luna romance).Though I'm interested in learning more about your homebrew, since it might give me some ideas or fill in areas I might have missed. However instead of executing spell effects in a linear fashion you can instead add conditional statements.Anon, after consuming a dangerous amount of hallucinogenic plants comes to the idea that even though he doesn't have a horn he does have bones which should be made of a similar composition to bone and through a lot of trial and error is eventually able to force mana through his skeleton and cast rudimentary spells at the cost of a lot of pain. He uses this to augment his mercenary work.He meets the sisters through gaining a contract from their father, the aforementioned Lord when they're fillies. Eventually gaining the Lord's trust he sees this novel approach to magic and seeing an opportunity to raise his family's standing hires Anon to tutor his eldest daughter. Both Celestia and Luna at this point are not alicorns, Celestia is a unicorn and Luna is a pegasus. A bastard child their father took pity on. Both don't even have their cutie marks yet.

Bat Ponies for example are descendants of pegasi with dark magic that created their own society outside the social strata and their offspring reinforced the dark magic inside them until they evolved into this new darker form of pony. 'Dark Unicorns' and 'Dark Earth Ponies' do exist as well but they are forced to integrate into society and suppress their innate magic since they couldn't just fly away like pegasi can.As for using magic, generally if a creature has a horn of some kind they can use 'spells' as we think of them in the show though for ponies specifically they only have one unique ability which is directly tied to their cutie mark and learning the spells or magic of another pony requires that their spell or ability be similar to their own ability can be interpreted in such a way to generate a similar effect. Levitation is the exception though to give unicorns the ability to manipulate objects and be the 'craftsman' of pony society.I prefer having pony magic work in this specific way since it reinforces that the ponies need to work together to be strong and this extends to Celestia and Luna because they are the only ponies that can learn every pony spell, making them comparatively gods among ponies but still able to be potentially beaten by other powerful non-pony magic users.What names do you use for these original characters? They were found to be the two most suitable candidates to wield two fragments of The Sundered Crown. A Concordian artifact of incredible power that was split into seven fragments, even in the present day only four fragments are accounted for and just by existing cause major temporal anomalies. The Second Empire planned to use them and the two fragments to exert power on their neighbors, being bound to the fragments nearly killed them and it caused, irreversible changes. Alicorns aren't a naturally occurring lifeform, Celestia and Luna were the product of these two artifacts binding to them and basically causing them to exist in a state of superposition. Which then collapse and fused the three separate possibilities they could have been born as into one composite being. Once they realized they wouldn't age Anon not wanting to leave them alone in the world threw himself into immortality research, and later when that proved fruitless into general longevity research to at least partially extend his lifespan.

Then again I like to focus more on the philosophical side of what Anon's presence actually means for the sisters since he represents the extreme of absolute freedom and this teaches Luna that she can actually choose to be someone outside of destiny and not follow it blindly like Celestia does. The sisters growing apart is a part of destiny's design but Anon changes how that rift takes place, turning it from loneliness and betrayal to a quiet distance that happens because Celestia realizes that Luna loves someone else more than her which I feel is more meaningful rather than having Anon simply prevent Luna's fall into evil.
