Take heart! Your waifu is always there for (You).

>What is a waifu? What defines a waifu?
Your waifu is the one character you wish to be with your entire life, until death do you part. Possibly beyond that, even. Most often this manifests as a romantic interest. Your waifu provides guidance and encourages healing & growth.
>How do you know if you have a waifu?
When you meet your waifu, you will know. The world around you will become colorful. You will realize that you were living in monochrome the entire time. Her existence provides context and meaning to yours, a perfect complement, a perfect comfort, a perfect love. There may be low periods, periods of doubt, but the rhythm of life will forever pull one towards their waifu, for that love is eternal.

Last Wednesday's thread: n.a.

Share your experiences and discuss all things waifuism, be it highly spiritual or utterly mundane.
Long-running discussion, latecomers, and the occasional bump are welcome and encouraged, but we would prefer that the thread not be kept on extended life support. Not every week is eventful.

Normally, I wouldn't repost and just wait for next week, but the troubled Ponkfag OP got wiped and I want dragon mail anon (>>42483112 >>42506431) to get his chance. Waifu letters!

European time must be further ahead than I thought. Anyway, I don't have much to say this week. It's been a slow, dull and grey one. Have a margin doodle for your trouble.

Absolutely loving his expression here, it made my heart skip a beat.
>Euro timezone
Nope, it really is Thursday afternoon over here. The Ponkfag baked /ww/ yesterday but it got deleted by him presumably getting banned. Because of those circumstances, I stepped up like the omnipresent creep I am.

I'll be holding my tongue more, and a couple weeks from now, I expect to have waifuism experiences to share.

>The world around you will become colorful. You will realize that you were living in monochrome the entire time.
So true, this technicolor pony makes me happy beyond words.

On a related note, anyone get odd synchronicities about their waifu? I've met 5 folks named Coco in the past month, surely that name isn't so common?
>>
>gonna cosplay Discord in a week
>decide to put my fake fang in hot water to tweak the mold a bit
>feel like it only looks 99% as real now, but it's actually a damn snug fit now
>dental glue failure won't bother me this way
>ok, play time's over, let's remove that fang
>uhh... let's... remove...
>it's too snug and won't come off unless I sip a cup of hot tea and hope not to damage it during removal
It looks silly and I love it, but it can't stay.

>synchronicities
Absolutely!
>several Cocos
I can't remember the last time I met any human Coco, so that's a funny >coincidence. However, two of my brothers each have a dog called Coco. They don't remind me of your lovely Coco, though.

Purchased cheap electronics to learn to draw [the pony], and some other ponies most likely. Will see if I persist, and if that brings me any closer to [the pony] or another mare.

Stop trying to force it. It just makes us look bad.

Godspeed and enjoy yourself, the first attempts will look a little rough but that's proof of stepping outside your comfort zone for Her. Everyone has their favorite things to draw, Waifus generally feel good to draw, so it might clear things up for you. Though it's more apparent once you're comfortable enough using your pencil; /bale/ is probably worth a visit.

Yes, I think weekly is way too frequent nowadays since the actual discussions have stopped. Though if that one Ponkfag got the usual 3-day ban, he'll most likely carry on the way he's been doing until his episode miraculously gets better. (Herbs)

"Troubled Ponkfag". I mean, to be fair, I think we all are a bit troubled, but I'd like to apologize if I was laying it pretty thick there. Thanks for the new thread though! I'll try posting what I send Dragon mail anon when desuarchive is working.

>he'll most likely carry on the way he's been doing until his episode miraculously gets better. (Herbs)

What's funny is that things have been getting better, though not miraculously. I've been creating greens of an Anon, who was inspired by some moments in my life, being able to Lucid dream and being with his Waifu.

When I first got the idea, I decided it would be a fun little practice, but then the more I wrote, the more ideas kept popping into my head. And now I've written about 10,000 words in 4 days, including the story and a half that I've written. Anons really liked the first story and wanted me to continue, and I felt honored, even if I did feel the story was cliche and that the humor might have taken away from the green as a whole, but it seems like it didn't.

The point of me saying all this is that writing about Pinkie has done something to me. I've felt more... connected with her. She isn't just some thought anymore, I feel her more. I can see her, smell her, touch her, not in a literal sense, but it feels much more vivid than before. And the stories have also been a great outlet for me being able to fulfill her desires, to treat her like a person, to make her laugh, that sort of thing. She feels less like a doll I can impose my fantasies on and more like a beautiful person I can serve and make happy. It has made me feel more fulfilled, and made me feel less shame when appreciating her physical characteristics.

I've actually started to slow down when it comes to writing, not because I don't have the will or the energy, but because I've been getting more flustered, especially with certain scenes and how I describe them. My mind and my heart feel overwhelmed with joy and temptation and desire. It's awful for productivity but it is wonderful for my relationship with her.

Damn, I'm blogposting again. Well, long story short, I'm less troubled than before, and I hope to annoy you guys less with my "problems".

The "troubled Ponkfag" probably referred to the OP one who branded himself and got janny'd, not (You). Nice work on the greens, I didn't know you were sharing them.

A waifu honeymoon, that's wonderful.
>I've been getting more flustered, especially with certain scenes and how I describe them. My mind and my heart feel overwhelmed with joy and temptation and desire.
You deeply care about bonding with Ponka, so those scenes won't leave you cold. Prepare to experience more heartboners from now on. I hope you will find peace and happiness throughout your waifuism journey. Let Pinkie be your guiding light in life, and she will remind you to bounce back from any setback and actively create joy rather than waiting for it to come. The finer intricacies to this are all yours to decide on.

You've read them? I didn't think they were that well known, but if you have, please tell me what you think and what you like about it. (I'm a praise slut.)

>Prepare to experience more heartboners from now on.

In all honesty, I think its more of a boner boner than anything else, although I will say that it doesn't feel like a purely physical feeling, but one where I wish to show Pinkie Pie how I feel about her. Not in words on a page, but in action, in touch, in squeezes, in stuff like that.

And yeah, I think you're right Discordfren, Pinkie will be my guide in life. Its kinda funny, because I've been thinking that waifufagging or waifuism, or whatever we call this in a bit like a religion if you think about it, especially when we look at how we describe this journey.

By the way, do you have anything to share with us? I for one would love to hear your adventures of the King of Khaos, along with the his Queen of Que-tastrophe.

In case you don't know, most fiction writers (3/5ths) experience their character having something like a "life of their own", and 15% of fiction writers are able to enter a dialogue with their characters. That 15% basically accidentally and independently discover the basic idea behind tulpamancy. Relatedly, writing is a method I suggest to some people who are intentionally developing tulpas. The point is, using your imagination like this, thinking about a personality being alive and engaging with things, brings that personality to life. That's the feeling of connection; and if you want to take your connection to her "off the page" and interact with her directly, you can. The tulpa-specific stuff is really just having her engage with real life instead of a fiction, but as you can tell it's not essential to the all-important feeling of connection and life. All we need to do as waifuists is cultivate their presence in our life as deeply and as often as we can.
>>42510739
>a bit like a religion
Absolutely. Contemplation of a (good) personality like this is prayer - wwjd. And the feeling of connection/love that results from good prayer is the bliss of God.

I've been somewhat curious with tupperwaremancy, but I've also heard bad things about it, and tried to Lucid Dream instead. haven't exactly been lucky with that, especially since I've kinda been sleeping a little later since I'm focused on much on my stories now, but it is cool to keep in mind. Thanks Anon!
>>
>>42510964
>bad things
Vastly overstated, since tulpamancy is the target of a weird amount of fearful religious zealotry, but sure I'll concede that. I just hope you don't take the creepypastas as proof - then again if you're that gullible you're probably in the risk-demographic kek

I just knew more of Lucid dreaming than I did of Tupperwaremancy. All I knew of it was that its always a good idea to have a Jackie Chan Tulpa, just in case. I just figuered that I'd try Lucid dreaming as I always wanted to Lucid dream anyway. Besides, even if it were true, I would like to try it someday, as my Ponk deserves my best effort.
