It was minimized into something trivial and lame when people latched onto the greentext. Similar stuff happens all the time, somebody has some decent ideas but they force it into a sprawling 20k word green spanning multiple threads when they could have done it in 5 posts. Ofc the way this kills good ideas is more that autistic people suddenly get lazy and fixate on consooming what's being fed to them instead of being creative, it's not exactly the fault of the author, but still.
