237 minutes today. I WILL be fit next year. Keep going bros.
>>42700258237 minutes of what? Is it what I think it is? Is your hand tired?
>>42699298I have died in gmod like this multiple times
I posted this in /pts/ too:Since I am going to do mobile phone-less I was wondering if there was a way to track runs (pace and distance) using a laptop (Framework 12 specifically) if not does anyone have watch recommendations, I don't really like watches but then I could use it to track running pace, distance and I guess Heart Rate
New week, let's make it a good one>>42703292Me af nigga
I lifted today, hopefully I will keep up this streak (2)Thanks for reading my blog post
Shorter run, because anon from the previous thread suggested so
9
>>42703483Very good gym sesh today, went hard on everything
>>42700930Cardio. 220 today
>>42703680>>42704316Very cool, keep up the consistency
Well, I should go to the gym tonight. Chest night and hopefully there won't be too many people there later at night. Wanna bench like Bulk Biceps but I can only max out at 2pl8 right now. Very slowly trying to increase the weight.
>>42705092The roon is a different anon btw I will do my roon today, but I will also do an easier run today. I've noticed walking my normal pace being painful on my ankle, my normal walking pace is too fast anyways but is this tendonitis?
>>42705041
>normie blogshit thread that has absolutely nothing to do with ponies
I'm in need of any advice for general ab workouts. I'm less than 10 lbs from a healthy bmi but this goddamn gut refuses to go away.
>>42706557thanks for reading our blog postswe have hearts, as strong as horses
>>42706557ChatGPT response so my IP can get leaked when the logs get leaked:>>42706557>normie blogshitBro are you lost? This ain’t your TikTok “gymtok” garbage — it’s literally a thread about getting swole with ponies. Sorry we’re not LARPing as 2012 edgy anon #45251 screeching “UHHHH BASED??” every post while chain-smoking in your mom's basement.Go back to lurking or go start your own “pure” thread where nothing fun or creative is allowed unless it’s been blessed by Faust herself. Meanwhile, we’ll be over here doing hill sprints with Dash and hitting deadlifts with Applejack. Stay weak.>>42706559Apparently some exercises are bad because they work the psoas (hip or something) and not your core, some guy on /fit/ always posting about bots and cross thread quoting
>>42706726>implying I read any of them>>42706743>wall of cope>not a pony in sightJust about what I expected
>>42706743Don't bring the psoas schizo to /mlp/, I hate that nigger like you wouldn't believe
>>42706874I think i'm starting to believe though, like do a plank with a few different forrms and you will be able to feel one more in your core and one feels way easier, especially in situps I swear sit ups are useless compared to deadhang knee raises
>>42706882I'm sure there's a nugget of truth to his ramblings, but he's an arrogant prick and a faggot of the highest order. As for situps, the variations are where you can really feel it. Decline situps are goated, and coupled with deadhang knee raises, they've got you covered for ab work. Pic unrelated.
>>42706882Yeah, sit ups by themselves aren't great. You're better off doing decline and holding onto plates, doing cable crunches or the machine crunches. The aforementioned 3 exercises are great as you can progressively overload your abs, where as normal situps don't give you any additional resistance. Otherwise, I'd recommend kettle bell exercises (eg. crossbody cleans/snatch for rotational core work, suitcase deadlifts, etc) to target other parts of your core. Don't ignore back extension exercises (good mornings, RDLs, supermans, etc) as your middle/lower back is also part of your core.
/fit/ thread?
/fit/ thread.
>>42698367I had an idea, but this is way better.I started going back last week because I realized I can't give her piggyback rides and upsies in the state I'm in. Won't stop until I'm back at 2 plate benches and 3 plate squats.
>>42696440quite a few, there's a recent spike in anti-hie astroturfing
What have you eaten today?
I did a 30 minute roon 3km (started at 6 or 6.5kph went to 7.5 and did the last 100m ish at 3kph) average speed 6kph>>427075312 eggs+cheese+bread (idk the bread name)bulgur + sweetcorn + greek yogurt (big serving)at least 3L water idk the exact number
>>42707531A large breakfast burrito (3 eggs, 4 strips bacon, some cheddar, some roasted breakfast potatoes, a bit of hummus, a bit of guac and some cholua) with a black coffee.
>>42707531Chicken and rice
>>42707531Made a big ol' omelette for breakfast with potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onions, and spinach. One sausage on the side. Spiced it up with paprika and hot sauce, and a big ol' mug of coffee.
>>42707371Just curious, what are you at now? How long do you think it'll take you to get there?
It's 2:30 AM where I'm at and I just got back from the gym. Have you fagets gone to the gym or done something to work out?
>>42710512I lifted just now, I think I've been doing OHP and RDL wrong my whole life, I need to focus on my core more. I think I figured out good form on DB rows, I can feel it like in the middle of my back rather than my lats or delts, one set I felt it more on my right rear delt I definetley had wrong form for that set.
>>42710715https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4vGM6zEXf4thinking of this while I lifted, also the one where diamond tiara says "If I'm a diamond then why do I feel so rough"
>>42705088My calves fricking hurt
>>42706559Do you know the howcast series on abs?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYEnbuNy-h0&list=PLE98687C875D52964
>>42709630Well, I dropped about a plate each. My legs never took very long to grow, but it took me a year to gain 90lbs on my bench. I also tend to neglect my arms because I just don't like doing upper, but I vow to do better for her.>>42710512Not yet. I'll be on my way shortly.>>42710715Did you struggle with getting good form with the seated row too? How did you fix it? I always struggle with rows, it never feels like I'm working the right muscles.
>>42706559I would have said recently that "spot reduction" is a myth, but a year old video from this guy says it might be possible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XRKDJdG_rAThe tl;dr on that vid basically says:>you need to "mobilize the fat", ie get blood flowing in the region of where you're targeting>then either do steady state cardio shortly before or after said fat mobilization>make sure you're in a calorie deficit to ensure you're actually burning fatHowever, if you have stubborn belly fat, you probably have a decent amount of visceral fat (fat surrounding organs), rather than subcutaneous fat (fat directly under skin). Subcutaneous fat will away go faster than visceral fat, and the visceral fat would need more exercise and a diet change. The diet change means a reduction in carbs, of which alcohol is a big culprit (high calories and prevents fat burning). Alcohol forces your liver to process that first instead of fat, which is hypothesized to lead to a build up of fat rather than burning it (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4338356/).> Alcohol inhibits fat oxidation, suggesting that frequent alcohol consumption could lead to fat sparing, and thus higher body fat in the long termAs for ab workouts: machine/cable crunches, decline sit-ups with weight, cable torso twists, kettlebell cross body snatch/cleans, kettlebell around the body hand offs (aka around the world), McGill big 3 (set of 3 exercises, more for core stabilization and will help with lower back pains). You can probably look up other exercises if none of the above appeal to you.
>>42711233I can't afford gym membership but I remember struggling with seated rows form, I would do one slightly different and the weight would feel a completley differnt (lighter/weighter) and different muscles
>>42711142Is this worth pursuing while still fat or only once within healthy range?
>>42711486Yes. Ab exercises are worthwhile at any fatness level.
