Sometimes I dream about having irl pony friends to hangout with and game and share art with. I have a great group of long term friends who I'm sure wouldn't treat me much different if I opened up about my pony obsession, but there just wouldn't really be any upsides to doing so either. It's not like they would join in the pony, they would just poke fun at me a bit and think I'm weirder. If we ever drift apart or I move away or something I would probably try to seek out ponyfags as new friends, but it seems the reality of it is that they'd probably be huge fags that I wouldn't actually like lol. I think a big part of it is that I want to share and discuss art and ideas in more depth than just short descriptions and a few comments, but my only art and ideas are pony centric. It's kind of weird to think about how young Lauren was when she was working on FiM (let alone her earlier work) and how strangely old she is now.
Hugging a pony must feel great. At least if they take care of their hygiene, otherwise their fur would probably smell and feel bad but most ponies will be bathing regularly. Their fur would be really soft and probably smell good too and then their bodies would be more firm and warm. With them walking on four legs most of the time, their front legs they use for hugging would also be stronger than most human arms so you'd really feel it when they hug you.

I've been going down the Chinese MLP merch rabbit hole recently.It's crazy how much better of a job Kayou has done in just a couple of years with their licensing agreement than Hasbro did in a decade and a half.They even gave Pony Life, of all things, a decent amount of love. They have an entire set dedicated to it for their collectible cards, and even gave Shim and Glim semi-official PL designs+figures (that aren't garbage like the 'Pony Friends' line).Every time a decently competent company manages to get a hold of this IP, they strike gold, and it keeps building up my frustrations with Hasbro. I know it's probably a bad idea to dwell on what could've been, but those thoughts do come back to me on occasion. I suppose I can only hope that one day at least one Hasbro exec gets their head screwed on straight and gives their franchises the care that they deserve.That being said, I am curious about you guys' thoughts on things like this.
