Make sure all the sides of those boxes extend to your whole drawing area.Once that's done, put whatever simple shapes, the simplest ones you can think of, inside those boxes. Of you can't figure one out, point out everything like youre playing battleships and just connect the dots.Once done, re draw the same shapes in similar boxes next to the reference.This will give you an idea about proportions and how things flow together, plus no more blank page block.For everything insides the boxes draw stick bones to fogure out how all the different parts stick together, nothing fancy just sticks with balls for joints.All the rest if just detail you pick up and iron out.You can draw anything with this method, though it will require 3D to draw 3D things so cubes instead of squares.
