Finished Guise of Chaos. It was...okay.Very straightforward violent revenge tale. Lore and backstory on the characters and setting is minimal. And there's almost no comedic or cute pony moments to balance out the gory violence.The narration is very terse, which does fit the main character. But Ripple himself is very flat. His only two emotions seem to be 'stoic' and 'angry'. Makes it hard to get invested in the story, his alter-ego has more personality but is just a voice in his head most of the time.Dunno if I would recommend this story, unless you just want a lot of pony-on-pony violence in your FoE fic.
