They are not the type of developers who like doing those or to depend on outside forces. At best, they would add references to the show like they did with TF2 and the unicorn cosmetics.They already take their sweet time with IPs of their own like Deadlock, so having to develop something in time for a company like Hasbro is a big No.

Like >>43222056 said they take a third of every sale and they have tens of millions of users online at any given time. Plus people actually still like giving Gabe their money because so far they have generally not enshittified and instead keep building more features that are actually useful. Valve is also private and has only a couple hundred employees, so the stacks of money they make for almost free are distributed between very few people compared to virtually any other big software company. They are absolutely swimming in money. It's truly incredible and I hope they stay true to themselves for a long time yet.
