CBA to fix the CM because it's very annoying at this angle.
What settings are you guys running in stability matrix?
>>43580679Damn, luddites seriously think ML is going to become some Skynet-level shit? Talk about not understanding the technology at all.
>>43580888SM is just a frontend, not a model. It doesn't do anything by itself. It just installs and launches stuff for you.
OC donut Steel feel free to steel if you wantDon't mind the inpaint halos. CBA to remove them, I'll cut out the background anyways to use as a token.

She's got the power!Armor.
>>43582071NTA but I agree with him. "Yellow is a color that evokes jealousy." Says who? "Red is a color that makes you angry." Say what?At least the complimentary color stuff makes some sense but only barely, and is in practice irrelevant.
>>43583140I agree. I find it of little more value than astrology, and even that actually is more interesting. I think there is established recognition of how the eye sees contrasts for example, hence those disputes in years past over blue vs. yellow (retarded social media trend as it was), but this idea that someone is a "warm autumn" is nonsense to me.
>>43580452BasedAccelerate
>>43583140>>43583164You both got it wrong. It's just that colors like Yellow don't mesh with purple and red visually and clash with each other.
>>43582488These wings are sex.
>>43584816Why is Dash in such a bad mood?
>>43583866>wrongLook up "psychology of color theory"
>>43586050Yeah but my reasons have nothing to do with that. The colors just don't mesh. They clash with each other on a purely visual level with none of that armchair psychologist slop involved with it.
>>43586219That armchair psychologist slop is the basis for why the colers supposedly "don't mesh".
>>43586233Yeah well I never read or prescribed to any of it and deem things to not mesh purely by vibe alone so it don't count
>>43586276So your basis for why colors shouldn't go together is basically "it just doesn't feel right to me"? Good to know.
>>43586301nta but it's "this doesn't look good"I have no clue why anyone would do it any other way.

by someone in the anni thread
>>43587635There isn't one, really. It was done in seven phases and the plasma rifle was done separately by Gemini. This is what I started with: https://u.pone.rs/yssklaew.pngI first blobbed in the armor, then inpainted it.Then blobbed the saddle, inpainted it.Then did the rifle with Gemini and pasted it in, added the strap, inpainted it.From there I went all around fixing little things, inpainted the robotic eye, blended in the worst halos, added the hair and tail highlights, and just now realized the pip-buck is missing so I added that.
Not what I was trying to do in the slightest, but I think it's neat anyways.
>>43587931Can you people seriously go back to using Catbox or something, I don't fucking trust URLs with .rs on it
>>43588490>use retard site that doesn't work instead of pony site that does
currently messing with comfy UI to use very crude animations i made as a guide for a full animationgif related, just an example of what i'm trying out first, low as fuck vram, only 6gb, wouldn't invest in a gpu till i knew it was worth it so im just fucking about with itany advice or ideas btw? i feel like ai should really be used far more by people who have actual artistic talent, not that i'm claiming i have some myself, but i really feel like artists are the only ones who could actually max out the potential at least in terms of animation with ai
>>43588542Artists would get a lot of use out of image generation. I'd say even more so than animation. With the right tools, you can feed this thing an outline sketch and it'll give you a finished piece in less than a minute while maintaining the pose. Now I don't have the require ControlNet, but there is one.also>animation at 6gb vramUh, I dunno. You probably just plain can't.
>>43588542There are many "gpu" (vm) rental sites with reasonable pricing.
>>43588542AI can be used by non artists to make slop. But actual artists can use AI to speed up their work and expand their boundaries
>>43588937completley forgot about that concept for a bitwas honestly just gonna run it overnight for a single gengiven my newfound income, i bet i could do that ez pzwhat website was it again? it was like openrouter but for GPU's
>>43588490Sounds like a (You) problem
>>43588988Implying the artists have the required knowhow to not make slop themselves. You give them too much credit.
>>43588542>wouldn't invest in a gpu till i knew it was worth itThat's stupid. Now you have to pay thrice the price. Or wait until 2028 at the very earliest.
>>43589198>implying i can't rent until they drop if not indefinitely for ai shitlol, lmao
>>43589230You weren't even planning on doing that until >>43588937 brought it up. It's more expensive unless you barely use it anyhow.
>>43579996what a nice brapper
>>43589434sometimes bright ideas strike me in the darkest of hours anonand if im only really using it for animation which would be few and far between assuming it got to a point where i knew what i was doing enough to not regenerate constantly, it would take quite a while for the price to catch up to the point where buying might have been more usefulthat's not even mentioning inflated prices as of right now, maybe when they come down it will sharply turn towards buying being far better but in the moment he's kind of right, i might as well just rent
>>43588490>I don't fucking trust URLs with .rsWhy thouggh? What's the issue with that domain?
>>43590882Nothing, the guy is just an updooter.
>>43589136Just search for "gpu renting". There are a lot of sites specialized for this.>>43589434>unless you barely use it anyhowSo like 99% of us? For most of us even outrageous prices like 5$ an hour would cost less than what it costs to buy the same hardware by a long shot. But these cost less than a 0.5$ an hour for top of the line consumer and less than 2$ an hour for top of the line workstation GPUs.

>>43613597Why the fuck would you commission an AI artist, instead of just getting a subscription to the AI?
>>43613612Why don't you just learn to draw? Because it's a waste of time. I have large amounts of money and limited amount of time. I don't want to research whatever the best model is, find the best program, learn the best workflow, inpaint away errors, and all the other shit required to produce something that is actually good. It's pretty clear just scrolling through this thread that only a tiny fraction of AI artists actually produce anything that isn't slop. The amount of mangled cutiemarks and swirly vortex of artifact error eyes in here is almost comical. And I don't have time to learn that. Easier to pay.

>>43620968It doesn't get her armor right. Only the old PDXL pony models do, sometimes. Here's what I had to do to get it right. Top is the rawgen, middle is with my expert handiwork with the color picker and paintbrush tools, and bottom is when I realized I didn't like the 2nd hand in there so I edited that out with mostly the clone stamp tool. Storm King's insignia was copypasted from some other pic and blended in as the final step. Also 4chins really should add support to some better image formats like jpeg xl or even webp.
>>43623918>even webpWhy 'even'? It's an outdated format. Also Rapeape himself has said he deliberately doesn't want to support it, so it's not gonna happen anyway.

>>43631194I don't want to shill them, but it's just one of the few AI artists in the fandom who has actual art skills. It's still stupidly cheap though. $20 for 2 single character pieces. I used to spend 3 times that on one piece and get something good in about 3 months of waiting. I don't want something with a bunch of errors. A few here and there are fine, but AI is nowhere near that without a lot of work if you have any kind of interesting outfit on a pony. Even ponies wearing nothing have a TON of errors when I zoom in on stuff on tantabus. The stuff I get back from said artist usually has a few but most is redrawn and inpainted.

Kinda just blogposting but>old animator who used to do mlp animations>been messing with generation and wan animation>it's able to animate a fully shaded yet 2d looking style i dreamed off>even if i can animate the base animation/lineart by hand there is no possible way for me to shade/render like the ai can with this style>using that style and posting it publicly would then make me a hack in the eyes of my supportersAnd yet there is no real way to shade/animate like it's doing. I feel really conflicted.
>>43640759Your supporters were gonna drop you for wrongthink eventually anyway. Be it for some political stance, a particular stance on the show or the fandom (usually linked to something political) or how you do your work (usually linked to something political). The only way to win their game is to give literally zero shits about what they think. People pleasers in the age of social media end up pleasing nobody.
>>43640847Maybe so but right now it is a lot part of my income. Been playing a bit with Krea2.So far the results have been unsatisfactory. True slop. I might use it to generate some backgrounds or environments since it does seem quite capable of that.
Same scene with Stablemond. Rawgen, this'd take a bit of touching up and inpainting to consider finished. You decide which is better.
>>43648397Just for some perspective, it's absurd that this level of quality is now called slop. Before the advent of Stable Diffusion if an artist drew this it would have been exceptional and praiseworthy.

>>43648710You're correct in general. However, some extensions/plug-ins like Regional Prompter have used it for exactly that purpose, which makes the situation confusing for some people.
>>43648769True, that's probably the reason.
>>43648696>trashnah i think I'm gonna use the mlp ai thread for the mlp ai requests
>>43648810Yeah this thread used to be sharing coom all the time when AI was still new. We need a return to form. /trash/ is only for trash fetish shit like zebradom and cuckoldry (btw I just checked it and holy lol they have a dozen of those threads up, are furfags really THAT pathetic?)
>>43648821There's very few pony genners left. There's me, there's Pipette guy, and then there's that one guy who does anthro in /trash/.2/3 don't do clop and the last one does b&thro.
>>43648860There's some guy who post pony gens in the "official pony thread" too but it's all slop.
>>43648860I've got a NovelAI subscription and need to burn through all my credits by the end of the month, so I could do pony stuff. No guarantees on quality though.

>>43647811Now say that without crying
>>43649844>it's just nobody posts in this threadBut it begs the question if there's a special reason for that.
>>43650489Because it's a pain in the ass to post on 4chan these days. Everyone says the site is dying because it's no longer trendy or whatever, but the reality is it's just a fucking nightmare. Everyone uses phones now. Every phone on the planet constantly changes IP address. You solve the captcha, and find out your IP range is banned and you need to verify. So you verify your account. It's literally 2 captcha and 5 puzzles to send the email, then 5 more after clicking the confirm link, then you go to post and it's 3 more. Ain't no one got time to solve 13 fucking puzzles just to post cause your "session" expired. Even more if you fail one because you are getting impatient. If I'm not at home on my pc I just don't bother. Even here though, session expires monthly and I can't be bothered to renew it half the time. I'll procrastinate that shit for a week.
>need to pay $18 a month to gen sexy horses on civitai
I got the upscaling working on the krea2 workflow so have another comparison. Most its training data on ponies has to be stock vectors or show screenshots at best. Or, at least I haven't figured out how to not have the almost exact show style. And yes, this was done with krea2.
>>43651263And here's old Stablemond. It took quite a bit of tag wrangling to get the style right, but at least I can wrangle tags and weigh them.
>>43651264>>43651263I think both of these look lovely. Can I ask what tags you use to get the most show accurate look?
>>43651316Krea2 just does that and you can't make it do anything else if you want ponies. For Stablemond it's a combination of "my little pony, vector, flat colors" and you probably won't get it exactly right anyways so you have to use some other tags as well. I don't have one on hand to check the tags I used.
>>43651263>Most its training data on ponies has to be stock vectors or show screenshots at best. Or, at least I haven't figured out how to not have the almost exact show style. Some would call this a benefit. Gonna make try to make use of this to make sprites for the VN in /chag/.

>>43650620>session expires monthlyThis never happens to me.
>>43650753Use Yodayo and (I'm not sure if they still allow it but they used) PixAI. They're both free and let you gen NSFW.
>>43651682I'll give them a shot. I don't necessarily mind paying a little to use the good one for now but I'm worried I'll use all my credits just learning how to make the stuff i want to see
>>43651743You can use free gens locally or free on places like frosting.ai or perchance.org . That will let you get used to things before you start paying. If you are willing to pay, it's my understanding that NovelAI is the best paid site (the downside being that it's paid only).
>>43651768What model is Perchance even using?
>>43651768Yeah I've been using perchance and have gotten a lot of decent stuff out of it but i notice i don't get the same results plugging those prompts into different models so it's all a learning process. Oh well now research is required.
>>43651771I don't think they disclose models but for free stuff it's definitely older models. Might be base SDXL or even SD1.5 stuff? The quality definitely isn't great but it's fine for people getting started and learning how to prompt.>>43651777Each model is trained differently, usually there's example prompts and/or explanations of how to prompt on the model's HuggingFace or CivitAI page. A lot of stuff will be common though, especially for models trained on booru tags.
>>43651777What Perchance page are you using? Can you give me some tips/examples? I can't get anything worthwhile out of that thing.
>>43651778Just did a search and apparently it differs from page to page but the top pages should be running Flux.1 schnell.
>>43651778Yeah I've been doing research and using the ai pone booru as reference to get a better idea for it.>>43651780Kinda like the above stuff i find listing everything with commas works better than natural language because sometimes i will write naturally and I'm not even sure that stuff gets used. Pretty much just describe each individual detail (hair, eyes, other specific body parts, background, whatever) and fine tune the details. Luckily since it's free you can just keep trying over and over as you get closer to what you like. That said because it's free it's not super consistent so you have to accept that sometimes you take what you get. Also it's still got those little details like fucked up hands or weird misdrawn lines here and there but as long as you look at it more for proof of concept than generating real quality stuff, it's decent.
>>43651780Should have saved the prompt but here's me messing with it for a minute. Definitely easier to get it to do good anthro than feral and 80% of the output was pretty crap but the more you use it the better you'll get at speaking its language. I'm also very much a novice at image gen overall so I'm sure in the hands of someone more experienced you could get more out of it. Also use https://perchance.org/ai-furry-generator not the other one and i do most of my stuff with the soft fluffcore style but that's probably just personal preference.
Wow! Managed Democracy!
>>43649844>there's a whole booru just for pony AI gens with tantabus.aihardly anybody posts there too, its an even worse problem of people dumping shit onto xitter and then never anywhere else
>>43651921>picDamn, I can't believe you actually managed to tard wrangle that quality out of it, I can only get it to make really shitty DALL-E level abominations. I don't really have any problems with the interfaces on Civitai or other online generator sites, but Perchance just obscures too much of its inner workings for me to really understand it.
>>43652203Yeah. I've never posted any of my stuff there, but someone sometimes crawls through these threads and posts some of what's in them.Still exploring what krea2 can do. Apparently, ponies in this weird 3d style is something it is capable of.
>>43652239My job gives me long stretches of time without much to do so I've had a lot of time to fuck with it. I could probably get even better anthro pone stuff out of it because it seems more designed for it but I guess this isn't really the place.
I could show off what NovelAI's V5 model can do. It's good at rendering text in images, specializes in multiple characters and can handle both natural language and booru tag based prompts. Pic related is a single gen, took less than 5 minutes.
>>43652248why don't you?
>>43652445Very impressive. Whatever you post can you include the prompt or at least outline whatever you consider the more important technical details like quality and stuff?
>>43652483Catbox preserves the meta data for images, which is usually the best way to see the prompt and all the settings (doubly so for NovelAI, since its metadata is formatted differently). Here's a catbox link for that one: https://files.catbox.moe/3n8as0.pngAlso that image was saying I can do requests if anyone has anything specific they want to see.Catbox for pic related is https://files.catbox.moe/8wos2b.png

>>43652753And that's terrible!(NovelAI can do comics too, pic related is a single gen. Catbox with prompt at https://files.catbox.moe/y4uaal.png )
You don’t need to bother catboxing NAI gens, 4chan doesn’t wipe the metadata.
>>43652793Thanks for the heads up! I'm used to 4chan blowing out all the meta data for local gens I post on /trash/ .
NAI is fine and all but I wish it had artist tags for pony stuff.
>>43588542>>43588937there was an attempt...
>>43652847NAI has artist tags, although admittedly not all of them and local LORAs and such will be better. Although with the v4.5 models you can use Precise Reference, it hasn't been updated for the V5 models yet.Did you have a particular artist in mind?>>43652860>>43588542Are you trying to use image gens and generate frame-by-frame, using an animation plugin for image gens like animatediff, or using video models for animation like Minimax H3? The latter is probably the best option if you want good animation using AI.
>>43652879the exact thing I'm using is "Wan animate 2: Motion Transfer" on comfy ui.not generating by each individual frame, at least that's my impression, like by running each still image of the frames of the gif/video through and image generator then combining them manually.I'll take a look at what you mentioned though, might help a fuck load, i'm just now trying it due to sudden free time
>>43652879>>43652892sorry if i didn't specify enough, i'm just now getting back into this kind of stuff since i barely tried it years ago, i ain't got the vocab words for all this yet
second run through with the reference video being the same thing except longer, a full 3 seconds instead of the single loop, minor improvement but it's bouncing back and forth as opposed to up and down like the reference vid
>>43652892Gaming on my genning computer now, but it's my understanding the best you can do locally with animation gens currently is using Minimax H3. You can find a comfyUI workflow for it at https://comfy.org/minimax-h3/This model and other modern video models can take and/all of text, images, audio and video input. That means you can just describe a video in a prompt and it'll try to gen it from scratch. Or you can give it images and have it generate a video with those characters, or specify one image is the first frame and another is the last frame and it will make an animation between them. Or you can give it an audio file with an image and it can make the character say the audio. It can also use the audio file as a reference and generate new audio in a similar voice, so you can have characters say new lines. Finally you can give it a video file and have it make a similar video with different characters, or use the characters in the video and do something different with them, etc.Modern models are pretty amazing. The only thing is if you only have 6gb VRAM you'll have to run it in a low VRAM mode, so gens might take longer. Doing a 15 second video (the max for Minimax H3) on my 3090 with 24GB VRAM usually takes 5 minutes or less depending on the resolution and settings, so you might be looking at 4 times that (maybe around 20 minutes a gen). You could look for turbo LORAs to speed it up though.Whatever you decide to do, best of luck with all your gens!
>>43652904bare in mind im using runpod for the gpu usage so speed is not the issuepart of the reason for this is im very particular about the motion within the gen, it may end up being better for me to forgo the reference image entirely and just use the video as the sole reference i'll take a look at minimax but maybe the control net version will work for me
>>43652879>Did you have a particular artist in mind?I only tried three in V5 before writing it off: Thebatfang, Aer0 Zer0 and Welost. All of these are pony-exclusive artists for the most part. I guess if you try some popular furry artists it will work?
>>43653033It's my understanding NovelAI trains on booru images, Danbooru, e621 and some pony one(s). Do you know the exact booru tags? Pic related is using artist:thebatfang in the prompt. But yeah like you said some furry artists have really strong / well sampled styles. The one in >>43652879 is dimwitdog, one of the top furry artists on e621 and AI models really learn her style very strongly because it's maximalist with a lot of lines and a distinct look.
Story bit should be done tomorrow. For now, have this eepy pega.
What are good models trained in foalcon?
>>43653068I don't think they train on pony boorus at all. The tags are exactly as I said, well, I supposed Aer0 Zer0 would be "aer0zer0". In any case, none of these tags give any results close to their style. Clearly furry stuff is an afterthought in NAI, so pony gets no consideration.
>>43653243Don't know enough about the artists you're talking about to tell how close the styles are getting. Here's one with artist:aer0zer0 in the prompt. Can you post an example image from one of these artists? I'll use Precise Reference on it and see how close it can get.
>>43653260I guess I overstimated how popular Batsy is, then again half of his stuff is OC. Welost and Aer0Zer0 are somewhat in famous. Anyway, if you wanna try using a base try this:https://twibooru.org/3866693
>>43653084Looking forward to it.
>>43653281Here's a shot using precise reference on his OC. He draws in a style that's close to the show but more depth and shading, so it seems like you could get pretty close to his style just prompting it like that.
>>43653388That's close, but it still looks off. It's probably better to just gen with NAI and inpaint the style with a local lora.
The sun is bigger than the moon so this is canon.
Crashing for the night, but feel free to request and I can do more gens tomorrow. I post gens on /trash/ and /d/ sometimes too.
>>43648860Yeah, sorry, my bad. It's been like 7-8 months since I checked or posted in these threads. I've been abusing Google Flow to make very specific fetish art that I can't post here.
>>43653911>abusing Google Flow to make very specific fetish artShould we ask?
>>43654138>Should we ask?No, but you should be satisfied that you would be jealous if you too had this fetish and saw what I was cooking. I would also like to say I'm proud of how thoroughly I've managed to bypass all of the safeguards to make it, which is a fairly impressive feat if you've used Flow before.
bap
>>43654236Do you have just a throwaway Google Account to do that with? According to Google's TOS they can ban not just Google Flow but your whole Google account if they want. That's why I haven't tried using Gemini/Flow for anything fun.I also heard they cracked down on free gens and you had to pay more now. Is that true?
>>43654370>cape like cloakOh crap, that's a legit vampire.
Do you use style LoRAs with StableMond, or do you just use artist tags?
>>43654554>Do you have just a throwaway Google Account to do that with?Yes, I do.>I also heard they cracked down on free gens and you had to pay more now. Is that true?Well I can gen like 100 images a day for free. Image generation doesn't use Google Flow credits at all as far as I can tell. Not sure how long that'll last, but I'm enjoying it in the meantime.
>>43654683Not the anon currently using StableMond in the thread, but I've used it before and it works fine either way. The model is flexible for a wide variety of styles on it's own (mostly Danbooru/e621 styles), but LORAs help a lot for style consistency if they're good.>>43655320Is it possible to make throwaway Google accounts anymore? I had to make one for work tied to my phone email, and it seems like Google doesn't let you make an account without a phone number or such.Even without specifics it would be great to know how you can get around the censorship.
>>43655345>but I've used it beforeWhat are you using right now? Oh, and one more thing. How do you mix styles using artist tags? Thanks in advance for your help.
>>43655345>Is it possible to make throwaway Google accounts anymore?I assume it is, though I only have the one. I suppose if you had to use a phone, you could just get a cheap prepaid phone and use that to verify your number. Main thing is that I've definitely been generating stuff that they do not want me to, and it's been months and they haven't stopped me yet.>Even without specifics it would be great to know how you can get around the censorshipThere's a lot of technique you can use to do that. It would depend on what you want to gen. I've gotten Flow to do pony nudity, but it is time consuming and difficult to work with once you do. However, if you're like me and your fetish doesn't require nudity, then Flow is fantastic. If you just ask for something even vaguely NSFW or lewd, Flow will refuse constantly. However, if you upload images, say of a style you like, you can ask Flow to modify and add/remove details from that image, or use it as a template to generate related images. This is where Flow really shines. At some point while doing this, Flow will almost entirely stop caring about what you ask it to do with the images. I can say more if you're interested. Use Nano Banana Lite for testing prompts and edits and getting varied styles (more errors though), use Nano Banana Pro for making edits or generating comics, and use Nano Banana 2.1 for generating your images. I've been doing everything through direct prompting, you may be able to get even more out of it using the chat function.
>>43655391Currently using NovelAI because it's getting to be the end of the month and I have to burn through all my credits or they're wasted (they don't roll over month to month). As for mixing art styles, the good news is you just need to add the tags for both artists! The bad news is it might not be the mix you want. Depending on how strong the model learned different artists' styles, some can overpower others or have other effects. You need to experiment to get the look you want. One thing you can change is the weight of the tags. The syntax is usually (tag:weight) for local, like (smile:2) doubles the strength of the smile tag. You can try (artist1:2) or (artist2:0.5) or whatever mixes to get the look you want. There's a ton more stuff you can try, including using different artists on different steps and stuff. A bunch of different techniques are at https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui/wiki/Features
>>43654683>style lorasNope, don't use any of those.>artist tagsNope, don't use any of those either.>style tagsYep. "flat colors" in positives and "shiny skin, latex" in negatives. Sometimes I use some others as well like "post-apocalypse" for the FoE gens.Qwen Image 2.1 edit workflow made moving these three onto the bench a lot easier.
>>43655445>>43655484Thanks for your help! I'll try playing around with different things.
>>43655513When doing an image gen, the earliest steps typically determine the composition while the latter steps determine details. Depending on what kind of effect you're trying to get by combining artists, using the Prompt Editing feature can help. For A1111/Forge/Reforge the syntax is [from:to:when]So for a 20 step gen if you did [artist1:artist2:10] it will use the first artist for the first 10 steps, and then the second artist for the next 10 steps. Or if you did [artist1:artist2:15] it would use the first artist for the first 15 steps, and then the second artist for the last 5 which would be mostly finishing details. There are almost unlimited different combinations and different things to try, so best of luck finding a mix you like!
>>43652248I also never post my works (gens or otherwise) to boorus. If nobody else uploads it, then it was insignificant and should just die naturally with the thread. That's why randomly finding my pics on a booru always makes my day, because I know some stranger considered it worth archiving. Thank you uploadchads, I know you're out there.

Looking at his twitter profile shows he's still at least active and clearly doing other commissions but mine is nowhere to be seen. Was the first and the last time i'm ever commissioning anything.
>>43662235I lost hundreds and hundreds of dollars to artists before AI because I kept telling myself it was wrong to judge the next one because of the actions of another, but it just kept happening. Probably a retarded question but with how much AI shit is getting spammed all over the sites like DeviantArt, Pixiv, TantabusAI etc. how is it that these sites are able to handle that much stuff? Would think their hard drives are constantly getting more and more filled with how much AI images and video are getting spammed to these sites but they just keep on working and going.

>>43667164>>43667169Can I ask how much these are costing you? I really want to do things like these too, but the censorship and cost seems prohibitive.
>>43667277I'm paying Google ~$100/month technically £79.99 to get the first tier of their Ultra plan: https://gemini.google/subscriptions/Assuming I max out my usage, I'm only generating 10-second 720p videos with their Omni model, and a month has exactly 4 weeks/28 days, that gets me:>760 video gens in Google Flow (10,000 credits per month + 50 credits per day divided by the 15 credits that a video costs)>~800 video gens in the Gemini app (using up a 5-hourly limit gives about 10 video gens and uses about 5% of the weekly limit, allowing for about 200 videos in a week and therefore about 800 videos in a month)So in theory a video gen can cost $100 / (760 + 800) = ~6.4 cents. But the quality isn't super good so I typically gen 20+ videos to get something I really like. I also edit videos sometimes.I've posted more about what I do here: https://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/43281249/#43320282Also I'm pretty sure you don't need to make the ~$100 commitment to gen videos, but they have a visible watermark on lower tiers and the usage limits are way lower. The censorship is a bit of a problem - nsfw is basically impossible and sometimes it will block sfw/suggestive stuff too. You can gen nsfw videos with MiniMax H3 tho
>>43667277>>43667420>But the quality isn't super good so I typically gen 20+ videos to get something I really like.I wanna elaborate on this bitIf I'm setting out to make something clean enough to upload to Tantabus, these days I'll usually gen about 40 videos. Sometimes I still don't get something good enough, sometimes I get multiple videos that are good enough. For a post like >>43667169, I'll often just use the first 10 gens I get (and that's exactly what I did there) - that should give a decent picture of the typical quality.
>>43667420Thanks for the info! I have used minimax h3 locally and it is very impressive too, but it's such a pain to get the results you want. Also, even though it can do nsfw, it doesn't do it well by default.>>43667435Really appreciate this kind of information too, because that's exactly the kind of thing I was curious about. >>43667446I'm glad you appreciate my posts, hope they help lol.>it's such a pain to get the results you want. Also, even though it can do nsfw, it doesn't do it well by default.True. Thoughts on Manticore and StableMond vs PonyDiffusion? Are Manticore and Stablemond really better?
>>43667764God, I'd hit the glasses with them.
>>43667991Yes.PonyDiffusion v6 was one of the first usable uncensored versions of SDXL so it was super popular even outside of pony circles. However being one of the first it was also one of the worst and is outdated by this point.StableMond is a newer model and basically does everything better than Pony v6. However, it's still SDXL based (based on NoobAI), so it's not as advanced as NovelAI v5 or Anima or modern corporate models. Still one of the best for uncensored pony SDXL models.Manticore is more of a specialty model. It was trained around the same time as the 'Mond models (Stablemond is the most anime/cartoon, RealMond is slightly more realistc, 3WolfMond is even more realistic, and 3WolfMond-LastSDG is the most realistic). However Manticore was focused specifically on traditional art styles like "watercolor (style)" in the prompt or other things to emulate traditional media tools. It's just as good as StableMond really, but there's no reason to specifically use it in particular unless you're doing those traditional media gens. The newest free local uncensored model is Anima, which has better prompt comprehension than SDXL models but doesn't have all the LORA support and custom trained models that SDXL does. Not sure how good Anima is for ponies since it's focused on anime.

>>43668027Very helpful, thank you. What any corpo models worth trying?
>>43671052You can see the kind of results you'd get from corporate models in things like >>43670427 (which costs $100 a month according to that anon >>43667420) . For images you'd be looking at quality like >>43661267You'd have to deal with censorship for corporate models, not just porn censorship but much more. Copyright censorship is built into these models so like you can see in >>43661267 and the associated conversation it won't do copyrighted characters correctly (though the different can be slight like messing up the cutie mark or other features). They also censor just random shit that some executive was butthurt by, like the "aiming at viewer" tag or the phrase "we live in a society" and etc.

I just want to say FUCK patreon they even banned Stability Matrix. Wtf is their problem? What is even the point of the site now? Is it trying to become an OnlyFans of sorts? Oh just because the Program can be used to gen Explicit images they removed it...wtf is this bullshit. Why do payment processors have so much power? Spent HOURS troubleshooting Forge Neo anyway. lmaoInstaller kept hanging after "Tkinter install complete." Dug through logs and found python.exe -m get-pip stuck for hours with ~1.8 seconds CPU time and HTTPS connections in CLOSE_WAIT.Reinstalled SM, rebooted, rebuilt Python 3.10.11, same shit. Turns out pip wasn't even installed. Finally used UV to manually install pip 23.3.2, setuptools, and virtualenv into SM's embedded Python environment.Forge Neo FINALLY got past setup, downloaded 1.9GB of PyTorch, and started installing dependencies.Paid $50 to avoid troubleshooting Python. Spent my entire afternoon troubleshooting Python.I JUST WANT TO GEN PONIES, DAMMIT.

Got something to show. Wasn't too bad actually to set up. Theres a new Animal Animator in Blender that came out in July 2026 that made this much easier. It's just a preview and there is more animation I can do that are preset but its a great point to end the night on. Still got to paint it but I just wanted to see what it would look like animated before committing more time into it. I still want to complete the side quest.
>>43682828Can't wait til next Halloween when Stuxler makes this a reality. (if we get that lucky again)Also, Asked ChatGPT to make a trot animation with my rigged model and it generated this. Its goofy as hell but kinda cute. Maybe its because its a pony and everything they do get a +10 Charisma buff.
Had chat retry the trot and asked for a more robot moth pony feel, and it came up with this. Its pretty serviceable actually I think. I dunno I might be tired but this is actually pretty decent work for 6h worth of learning and practice of a new hobby.

>>43683857How much proper 3D modeling can AI even do? Cause the model looks good but I imagine it's just a pony shaped entity with it's features painted onto it rather than the actual tricks done with eyes, mouths, etc.
>>43684019It does like 90% of the heavy lifting. Yea those things it needs help with too but really you need about 6hrs worth of learning Blender to deal with 99% of the issues you might encounter. Here's a SS of the wire mesh , its a pretty clean mesh. But needs more work for like 100% polished topology. Thats mainly where it still struggles with, but the mesh volume is pretty solid. It's 1,000,000% more than what I can do manually.
>>43684053So still no PROPER eyes, no PROPER mouth and features are just painted on textures? I suppose it's still better than what AI was doing 1-2 years ago. Here's to hoping it gets better at it soon. What AI did you use to get said model generated?
>>43684203Mostly MeshyAI and Chatgpt. And also I havent used all the features I have access to now.
