The longevity she's had is astounding. Staying at the top of the charts for almost 20 years.
>>
because she has an autistic consoomer fanbase
>>
>>121605235
I read that as coomer, but now that they know their idol is one, I dunno…

Good song if you disregard the lyrics being about literally fapping to the 1975 dude
>>
im getting tired of seeing her face here. I wish other artists got as much attention as this industry plant
>>
>>121606195
No industry plant stays this relevant after 20 years
>>
>>121606216
shes the first, then
>>
>>121606216
She wasn't relevant until recently, Lady GaGa was who we had on top a decade ago, along with Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Katy Perry. Taylor's mainstream shilling started awhile ago
>>
millennial womanchildren need to grow up at some point
>>
>>121606272
>She wasn't relevant until recently
retarded nonsense, she has the biggest album of 2008, 2012, 2014... in the US she even has the biggest album of 2006
>>
>>121606391
she has and always will be culturally irrelevant
>>
>>121606391
Literally never had the best selling album any year
>>
>>121606410
define "culturally irrelevant"
>>
>>121606424
The world exists outside the United States is probably what he meant, take OJ Simpson he was fucking massive in America and everyone covered his trial and chase. Outside the US bubble most foreigners never heard of him
>>
>>121606420
this is a pointless list of best selling albums "during the year" which advantages albums released early in the year
>>
>>121606454
*also it doesn't include streaming hence all the kpop/jpop stuff in recent years
>>
>>121606137
Fuck me, these lyrics are not good and the instrumentation is bland. Why is this an instant classic?
>>
>>121606454
Taylor's best selling album was 1989, it only sold 14 million. Madonna has 5 albums selling more then that. Celine Dion, Shania Twain had multiple albums selling over 30 million, Adele had two albums selling over 20 million.
Taylor isn't even very popular, she's astroturfed by the media and dicksucked by white women with low self esteem
>>
>>121606494
>streaming and iTunes never existed
also:
>Celine Dion, Shania Twain had multiple albums selling over 30 million
zero for Celine (one of them is close though), just one for Shania
>>
>>121606547
>"Falling into You became Dion's best-selling album and one of the best-selling albums in history, with sales of more than 32 million copies worldwide, including twelve million copies in the US, over two million in the United Kingdom, and over one million in Germany, France, Canada and Australia. In Europe, it has sold over nine million units."

>Let's Talk About Love became one of the best-selling albums in history, with sales of over 31 million copies worldwide.[1] The album also topped the record charts around the world, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Australia and many more."

If you are going by that unreliable site Chartmasters then you will have a bad time
>>
>>121606448
I don't think it's what he meant but even if it was that Taylor has most of her success outside of the US, which wasn't the case for the Beatles or even Michael Jackson at their peak for example
>>
>>121606454
swifties love to call stats irrelevant when it doesn't benefits their godhead
>>
>>121606618
A Overwhelming majority of Taylor's sales are comprised in the United States, very few are international. The Beatles sold most of theirs in the United States and UK. Michael Jackson was spread out everywhere peaking domestically in the 80s in the United States, and declining hard in American sales in the 90s but skyrocketing with foreign market sales

Wow, incredible luck of ms swifts part being involved with the most corrupt book cooking agencies in the music world
>>

why are you talking about things you know nothing about?

Adele's 21 was released the previous year

Red is the best selling album from 2012 by far, guess what it kept selling after 2012, I know shocking for an album released in late october
>>
>>121606721
The media comes up with their own estimates which are then cited by Wikipedia and other editors will piggyback on what Wikipedia has listed.
That's how the cycle works, occasionally they go off what the record labels claim but that ends after Wikipedia decides it's either too high or not reliable
>>
>>121606773
>The media comes up with their own estimates
no they don't, please stop making shit up
>>
>>121606762
not in 2012 though, which is what is being propositioned
>>
>>121606817
"what is being propositioned" is useless information, surely you understand an album released in january is highly advantaged compared to one released in november...
>>
>>121606842
Surpassing 3.11 million copies after two months of sales (Red)
>25 sold 3.33m copies in its opening week in the US market, according to sales monitor BuzzAngle, and 3.38m according to Nielsen.
Taylor even compared to contemporaries like Adele or BTS gets mogged
>>
>>121606272
Taylor has always been extremely relevant.

>A Overwhelming majority of Taylor's sales are comprised in the United States, very few are international
There's not a single US city in her top streamed locations this month
Indonesia, UK, Australia and the Philippines are dominating

>album sales
Mostly a meaningless stat in the era of streaming in terms of popularity. Average Joe and Jane stopped buying physical media 15 years ago, digital downloads are dead as well
Barely anyone under 50 buys albums anymore unless they're obsessive fans, profits are mainly driven by ticket sales from shows (and movies)
Taylor sold 4.35M tickets for her shows last year at an average ticket price of $240, 13 of those shows were international
This year she will be doing 77 shows outside the US and the majority of the shows were sold out within hours, all of those shows have 40,000+ fans attending
You're delusional if you think she doesn't have the largest following outside of the US out of any female solo artist currently alive, it's not even close
Madonna was an even larger global icon at her peak but she's nowhere near her 90s fame anymore
Adele is a nobody in comparison, she's currently rotting away in Vegas doing a 100 show residency for 2 years straight
>>
>>121605179
And yet, no one can mention a single song of hers.
>>
>>121605179
Her fanbase is basic white women, of course she's gonna be on top forever. All she has to do is make boring music, and count her money.
>>
>>121605179
Taylor Swift is the last remaining representation of explicit Whiteness in the music industry.

she's staying popular because she provides a subconscious relief from the constant bombardment of Whites with negro perversion.
>>
>>121611712
Whiteness =/= white people

please educate yourself
>>
She wasn't very relevant from 2015 to 22 and her current tour is mostly running off Red/1989 nostalgia.

How many of those tickets were bought by the record label to artificially boost numbers? For as long as recorded music has been a thing, stunts like this have been done--buying tickets en masse, buying record en masse, and paying radio stations to play a particular record. Today it's expanded to Spotify bot farms but still same principle.

not sure what you mean by "sales" but the vast majority of her streams are from outside the US

bro she could've sold several millions more tickets if the venues had the capacity or she added more shows
stadiums were packed to the brim
she had thousands of people show up without tickets outside the venues

sure bro

exactly, 22 million people registered for access to the 300k available tickets in Southeast Asia...etc, but this retard will probably say "they were all bots" or something, some people's brains are just broken sadly
>>
>The longevity she's had is astounding
yet we ALL know that Kanye's music will still be listened to in 50 years and Taylor's will not. The more time passes the truer it becomes.
>>
>>121606666
that's like saying whatever good album released in 1984 got beat out by Thriller which came out the previous year.
