>>121776465this is coming from a faggot who listens to whiny sad music
>>121776292Imaging being filtered by Wilco. That's like complaining about flannel shirts.

>I've made up my mind and need to let you knowPointless thread. Shit bait / 10
>listened to it 11 years ago and hated it>shelved it for years>listened to it again last year>it clickedMaybe you just have to be old and boring to get it.
>>121776292Being There is their best album anyway as Xillennials know
>>121776292Older genx checking in- this is a beautiful album, I love every bit of it. Their chumminess with Democrat politicians annoys me, but cannot deny Jeff Tweedy is a very gifted songwriter and the rest of the band is top notch.
What do you guys think the vibe for this record is? It reminds me of summer days in high school we'd drive into the city from my midwestern suburb and see whatever bands were playing in the square.
>>121776292this album has like 3 good songs. the rest are completely forgettable.classic pitchfork trash.
>>121776292Boy, this is a white people website. You'd better get out of here while you're still able.

>>121776292I listened to it once it was okay
>>121776292Its their best effort.
it always been straight trashFlaming Lips tolate 90s/early 00s alt rock was in a bad place before all the nepo babies from NYC showed up
Its good for country music
Gen A will like these campy 2000s indie albums in about 6 years, mark my words
>>121776537It's just an aestheic, just like when rich blacks sing about being "hard gangsters."
>>121781575"effort" says it all. I personally don't like Wilco. Not because they're bad, I just don't get the adulation. I put Wilco in the same category as Phish. Wilco is the new Phish.
>>121776292wilco is 100% a gen-x band. also the only reason this album got as much hype as it did was because american critics wanted a domestic answer to kid a
