Sweep picking is a technique. It is popularized as something you use when you want to play really fast. I wager if you reckon you could learn the basic 6 string arpeggio for each chord in a key, and just played them a lot and got mighty quick, you would eventually unlock connections between riffs that you never thought of as being a thing, but it is noticably fast mechanically wise.

Reverb had a good deal on Guild Surfliners, and I figured it was an upgrade from my pawn shop Squier. With the guitar now in my hands, I think I wasted my money. It feels soulless. Ordering a guitar brand new instead of hunting through pawn shops feels wrong. Anyone else experienced this?

Take any note.
Add one note that is 4 frets above.
Add a second note that is 7 frets above.
Add an optional fourth note that is 12 frets above
Distribute that over separate strings if you would like, and feel free to double and triple the pattern.
That’s a major arpeggio.
The guitar is isochronic so it is the same all across the neck, you don’t need to worry about adding black keys like a pianist would.

It's an easy song, but I had problems with the bridge due to removing the drums (they don't exist in the actual song) and it ruined my timing. I used Ableton Live for the looping functions and a MIDI foot controller. I even tried to replicate that part where they pre-record a short loop and then play it back sped up (at 4:03):

Yes. I either download MIDI or Guitar Pro files and extract the other instruments from it or tab it myself it there's nothing available. Then I add some virtual instruments for the bass, drums and anything else that could come up. The vocals are extracted using AI tools.

I just mean when it’s just the chording part like this, the roughness of the audio is nice. It reminds me of how they do the guitars at the beginning of “Wish You Were Here” to sound like it’s coming over an old radio.

I was saying I like it, but I’m not sure if I would still like it when there are more instruments added to the song. Usually that kind of sound works beside for thin instrumentation.

How difficult would it be to undo paint "relic" damage to this body?
I'm aware of the method with filling missing transparent finishes with cyanoacrylate glue and polishing, but here I'm not even sure what it started out as, what color of paint it is, or whether it's really nitro.

Good question! The ukulele has a higher string on the first string. The second string is actually the biggest. And they have four strings instead of six. I tune it like a bass. E-A-D-G. But the first string is an octave higher than it would be relative to a guitar, in relation to the other strings. So with this tuning it provides inversions just by holding regular chord shapes.

Just a question, I have a scarlet 212, if I get a vinyl player can I then rip vinyls with that? I don't really know what I'm doing but I know that vinyls get shittier the longer you have them out and they are covered with dust so I want to basically just take them out of the wrap, record them to wav, convert to flac, and then leave the boomer discs to rot on a shelf. Normally I wouldn't bother with this archaic system, but some of the records I like have much better DR rating on vinyl than digital.

Not that long but kinda long, sometimes it's much longer too. I currently have a tube screamer, a foxy tone box, slash wah, Blues driver, waza metal zone, DD8 delay, RE202 delay, and a Grand canyon I loop with, sometimes a chorus factory after the dd8, or sometimes a microphone case with like 10 other pedals that mostly modulate in it but not usually.

I was also thinking of replacing the BD2 with a waza SD1 and getting a morley power fuzz wah to replace the wah, and possibley ditching the foxy box and tube screamer at that point, with a spark in the corner.

oh shit i forgot the pedal sin the corner of my BCB30 box, there's a noise canceler and a EP booster, I wanna replace the EP booster woith the spark to get a cleaner sound.

Im thinking, spark->clean sound, SD1->lightly dirty sound, metalzone->distortion, with just the morley on the floor and the RE202 and canyon as a board. (with the noise canceler and maybe a chorus factory.
