Why there aren't any trans singer-songwriters? It seems like a good way for trans folk to express themselves.

Also I suppose if anything it's that transexual women have been uniformly urged by their subculture down the electronic route so they all make breakcore etc. like lemmings, + a few nasally metal and folkpunk outliers. I guess that isn't singer/songwriter per se. So I agree with you OP insofarasmuch as we really need a tranny punk rock / power-pop movement by now, especially in the UK.
