I always knew it was good. Not the best Pink Floyd album by any means but still good!
>>
of course
>>
I always thought it was good.

Six out of ten

Good? It's the only one I like.
>>

Mostly decent prog muzak but then the album closes with High Hopes
>>

Since Gilmour was capable of writing songs like Dogs and High Hopes, it's no wonder Rog was upset that he was being so goddamn lazy about contributing.

Whats wrong with High Hopes?

It insists upon itself

this album came out when i was 3
i knew it was kino then and i still know it now
>>122589863
roger would make the album better but he was also a massive twat by this point so he'd probably sabotage it more than anything else
>>122591516
nothing is wrong with high hopes, the anon probably just doesn't like when polly writes lyrics
>>
>>122591516
He implied that the album is decent but High Hopes is far above the rest
>>
>>122589770
GOTTA KEEP MY EYE ON THE CIRCLE IN THE SKY
>>
>>122592259
Anon, wrong album.
>>

Gilmour is a masterful guitarist, but as an artist he has nothing to say
his music is mostly very shallow and sterile, although nice to listen to
it's only when paired with Roger that he could properly make songs that were not just aesthetically appealing, but also interesting and poignant
>>
>>122592307
I knew I had that wrong

Yes, I always liked this album. i prefer it over The Final Cut by a long shot.
