So apparently I'm 2+ weeks late to this and every baldie on YouTube already basedfaced all over it but the band MIRAR dropped a killer EP out of nowhere. Previously they only ever sporadically released something like four single tracks. Supposedly this is some stupid made-up genre called "Thall" but to me it sounds the most like a harsher version of Igorrr with the "eclecticism" factor turned down but the "sick dissonance" factor cranked up.

I also went back and listened to their previous stuff and I'm glad they ditched the vocalist. Going instrumental only highlights their strengths imo. With that run-of-the-mill screaming it sounds generic.

My favorite track off the EP:

Love the harpsichord in particular ("Pleasant Sonata" anyone?).

Thoughts?
