I started a thread on here a while back where I gave Bill Fontana and his "landscape sculptures" as an example of what I wanted to explore. We are talking otherworldly type experimental ambient that conveys a sort of expansive, artistic nerve.Imagine listening to choon related with a paralyzing weed drool, staring out across the shoreline.To me, what Bill Fontana did here conveys a sort of surrealism that I really like. What other experimental ambient artists are there that seek to explore and break new ground for feels? I find that there is a lot of pleb shit on offer, where the artist simply lets one "muh important note" drone of for ages, without it ever being near to the dreamy vibes that Bill Fontana brought.
