Prog has always been an over the top genre but having an 18 minute piano concerto and a 14 minute sea shanty on one of your albums is pushing it too far. They were also always way cheesier than their contemporaries and way more masturbatory and extravagant when it came to compositions to the point where it becomes grating. Also they stopped making good albums after Brain Salad Surgery and their input got progressively worse and worse with each release
