>>122891909Man this album is just unmatched, it captures the shoegazy alternative sound but combines it with really catchy songwriting and great heavy riffs. It's like My Bloody Valentine but if Kevin Shields wanted to be a guitar hero and actually had the chops for it. That sounds and could be a recipe for disaster (as later SP albums happen to be) but here it's all fresh and the whole thing just slaps. Chamberlain is a beast on drums as well (Geek USA has always been one of my favorite songs to drum to)
