Vgm is such a saturated market for composers that it really seems like every other game has a solid OST because companies can pick and choose the best people, and only corporate dum dums would fail to have a good OST. Everyone loves to talk about how the game they're playing right now has the greatest soundtrack ever, but let me tell you about some games which are just OK in the soundtrack department and their good songs.Rivals of Aether: extremely well-polished bit music, demonstrates an insane mastery over the sound, but a bit derivative melodically. The Art is great though: https://youtu.be/Dpuy_uKMroE?si=LFsCWs4qbAr_6uwJSpeedrunners: super fun platforming racing game with what sounds to me like a live jazz Orchestra.
