The 50s were a bit strange for me in terms of country. I think about it a lot, and generally I'm much more fond of 60s overall. The late 40s/early 50s did have a very unique and simple sound, but a lot of it was hit or miss.60s was more structured (for better or worse) and feels more emotional. 70s has a LOT of amazing artists, but there were also a lot more slightly phony sounding ones (if you know what I mean.)Jimmie Rodgers (GOAT)HankGeorge JonesCharley Pridemy top 4 throughout the decades
