>8th album becomes her peak

anybody else accomplish this?

Led zeppelin peaked with their sixth.
>>
This is all astroturfed. They know she's getting to be past her prime so they wanted to give her a hit album before she finally gets booted out of everyone's minds forever.

music has become so terrible that the few cool songs on brat elevate it as more interesting than what most artists are doing. listen to b2b. it’s so simple but it’s really well-produced and fresh. that is literally enough to make this subpar album seem like it’s a modern classic.
>>
>>122899566
>anybody else accomplish this?
tons, Beatles, Bowie, Stones...etc.
>>
>>122899566
Yes
Pink Floyd
>>
Brat fucking sucks
>>
In fact although it's not my sort of music if there's anything positive to say about Charli it *is* this, that she's doing this thing 8 albums in is closer to the trajectory of a lot of older 60s/70s artists than nowadays where the debut is expected to be the best work an artist will produce which is kind of grim Mark Fisher shit, whether it's the music itself or the lyrics/meta or whatever I think the fact she's interesting to people at this stage of her career moreso than earlier is an indicator of decent experimentation or at least a febrile creative situation with a good amount of potential attached to it

boomer bands who released 10 albums in 5 years don't count.

it’s more like the trajectory of brits making electronic music, where album 1 by autechre sounds like another artist by 8. americans are way more psychotically obsessed with perfection out of the gate and lose interest in a group unless the press forces it on them. you have a budget for an album. once she knew it was hotter, they put more money into it. britney wasn’t good early, either. but the astroturfing began day one so you presume it in a sense. it’s that los angeles magic. charli is becoming more la. goldfrapp dif that for a while in the early 2000s and charted pretty well. but less money for campaigns, and the music is too melodic for americans to an extent for expectations. americans are easily hypnotized by extra dollars spent on promo. the glitz. aa an american i equate charli as more akin to electronic from the uk than usa pop. different trajectory

Production carries this album hard. I love it but any pop girlie would have been able to write catchy lyrics. AG Cuck is a master at his work.

it was a different era where you didn't have to tour and could write music all day. There's a reason it hasn't been replicated since other than our queen.

The three best Bowie albums are his 10th, 11th and last (27th maybe?) albums

In her own words "I don't envisage myself making music forever"
Strange coming from a musician. Maybe she realizes she's superfluous to the process?
>>
>>122899566
I don't think so personally but it's common concensus Green Day peaked with American Idiot which was their 7th album.

I just ended your career bitch. Coach is beloved for his music agasts. Doubt me;
>>
>>122908282
you still made enough selling records so you didn't have to go on world-wide tours every album being a dancing monkey 2 hours a night and wasting energy that could be used instead to make new music.
>>
that makes me respect her a lot, I don't like her music and I still think brat is overrated as fuck I just don't get and I like pop music
but the fact that she's been working non-stop for so many years in such a competitive industry where you're considered an old hag at 23, it's actually amazing, I still remember when I first saw her in that "what I like" video and I thought she was cute, I never would've imagined that so many years later she would still be here going strong, and make no mistake, she's no taylor swift or Billie Eilish, she doesn't have like a huge fucking team behind
I don't care about her music but I'm happy for this girl
>>
>>122908791
she doesn't know who you are
>>
>>122908825
She's on the run. Thas all that matters. Ticket sales sail downwardly & for what. Gays secretly love Trump
>>

she's an awful, awful person

just admit you're a racist and move on.

so? I don't really care about that, I don't think any musician I like knows I exist, I can still express my admiration if I want to
