Has anyone ever gone without music for more than a month? How was it compared with music?I remember going 3 weeks without music, and it made me feel more aware of everything.
no, i haven't gone prolonged periods without music, but i think i will once i feel confident enough in my guitar abilities. i have been playing for 4 months but i really want to make music. i often have other songs stuck in my head and they say that withdrawing from listening to music forces you to come up with your own melodies.
