Luge is the best band out there right now, change my mind.

I was pretty excited for Luge but they kinda lost me with I Love It Here, I Live Here. Just got way too messy and I couldn't get myself to listen all the way through, but I'm betting they're terrific live.

Sunforger (fka Mono No Aware) gets my vote for best nonstandard Canuck rock/guitar band. Feels like the real next step for Canadian music after the Women sound spread coast to coast and then died.

And Bluffing are old bandmates iirc and released some similar stuff recently over in Calgary.

Taupe is another recent band playing something that feels post-Women but with maybe something more of the east jangly sound in it.

Shouldn't these guys be protesting for Palestine and cutting their genitals off instead of making self indulgent music? Or is indie rock openly a rich conservative people thing now? In which case shouldn't they be making fash wave or MAGA rap? I just can't understand where hipsters like this fit into today's society or who could possibly be their audience

I will never ever ever listen to a band that coordinates their clothing, be it simple color matching or full-on costumes. Any visual aspect added to sound is just to make up for lack of originality and stage presence. Pathetic, really.

Also thanks for the recs, don't know any of those bands.

>replying to bait
Don't do that.

Listen to Clothesline From Hell. First two albums are the musical equivalent of (remembering) riding bikes and building sandcastles if you afterwards you clotheslined your childhood bro.

And if you're past the point of nostalgia and now just a slowly aging functioning alcoholic then there's Truck Violence who just put out a release.

Like Chat Pile if Chat Pile was Canadian and not insufferable.

>best album by far
I believe you. I'm just not into whatever nowave prog-type thing they do, so to each his own.
>spotify
Ads and you can't actually buy/download anything, worse for artists etc. Spotify becoming the norm on /mu/ was the death knell tbqhwy.
>nowhere near Canada
Bummer. Clothesline is another Toronto project with an upcoming release.
>thanks for the recs
np homie

This is fair. But there is something to good art direction when it comes to cover art etc.

They should make some music videos for the new stuff. Also, it's crazy they don't have a youtube channel by this point.
