I just wanna say that Chester Bennington was genuinely one of the best rock vocalists of modern times and his live performing was simply godlike. Later with age his ability to hit specific screams and notes diminished but he was still overall a fantastic live performer, age slows everyone down at some point in some way, with exceptions of course depending on style. But that's another topic. Linkin Park has been memed to death by the internet but I believe that they always killed it live and part of the reason was because of Chester's insane vocals and his specific style and sound.

The first song that was new actually sounded pretty good. The old stuff sounds not very good with this new vocalist (and not because its a woman but because it isn't Chester, a new man vocalist wouldn't be any better either). What they should have done was end Linkin Park and just reform as a new band with a new name and this new vocalist and just write and play new stuff (with maybe the occasional cover of older LP stuff as an homage once in a while). That would have been the sensible and respectful thing to do.
