is this their magnum opus?
remove the meme songs and it might be
>>123649796>>123649857for me? it's not ranking boyband pop albums
>>123649796>magnum opus I honestly think it’s Rubber Soul. White album was the apogee of their hard drug decadence. Also the start of purposefully shit Lennon-McCarthy songs because the break up began and they both wanted to see if they could created pure sound shit and it still sell millions. >yoko is a nono say no to yoko and other hard drugs
Well, it's different, I'll give you that.
I think it's great, but I think all of their stuff is great. I think their most impressive series of music is the Abbey Road medley and their most coherent album is Sgt. Pepper, though Sgt. Pepper has a few songs I think are just OK so it's not my favorite. I think I'd still probably pick it as their magnum opus since it did the most in developing their later style.
>>123649796Its the opposite, worst studio album, too much filler
>>123649796no. like a lot of double albums there is enough for one good album only
>>123649796in latin, magnum means "warm gun" and opus means "happiness"
>>123649796no because yoko appears on it
>>123649864For me, it's being heterosexual.
crapus dopus
>>123649796its their punk album
It's the album where the three principle songwriters all began to significantly diverge musically. It's barely coherent and it shows. Only worse albums are Abbey Road and Let It Be.
>>123649796Nope, Revolver is
>>123649796my favorite Beatles album by far
What other album does blues/rock/country/heavy metal/ska/folk/music hall/orchestral
>>123649796White album has always been impossible to rate. It’s their best album and their worst album consolidated into a big chunky shit log.
>>123649796Always was my favorite. Never understood how no one else felt the same way. Happiness is a Warm Gun is also my favorite Beatles song probably
>>123656462>Only worse albums are Abbey Roadim gonna kill this anon, bros
>>123649796I love it.
>>123649796yes and wow still a pleb filter, apparently reading this thread. the board is always morphing
>>123649796Pepper. Then maybe this, or Abbey Road.
